I had a journeyman show me a way that you could also strip them all and twist them all together leaving your loop bare ground through your eyelid of your fish tape for pulls through pvc, and from my experience if your underground is done right you shouldn’t have to worry about snagging on any fittings,ma’s, or fa’s but you know that’s not always the case some one always messes up the underground.
When I saw this video it only had 91 likes and six comments. And I was thinking this is pretty professional for someone with so little likes and comments. But then I clicked and saw that he has over 500,000 subscribers! 😂
This guy is full of bs. That won't work because he has the ends of the wires facing forward to snag into anything. All wire have to be bent backwards so as not to catch on anything during pull.

Question: getting ready to wire a shop - Better to use Romex or single wires? Your opinion?
Cable/ conduit lube also helps. Dishwasher soap in a pinch .
Thanks for the tip !
You bet!
We had 1 1/4 " gray conduit and 3 strands of 2AWG and a bare copper ground. It snapped the mule tape. Do we need bigger pipe or to pour oil in there?
😂shit, I wish I saw this yesterday. I ripped the old conduit completely off the wall.
Yes for God's sake stagger the wires especially on the big pulls
Pull hard enough and the ground loop will pull right out. Stagger them in mule tape Knots or a cable pulling basket
You might have to half hitch your wire about a foot from your ground loop.
Correct. The only thing holding that ground is tape! At least twist the loop back onto one or two other conductors.
Just daisy chain with pull string and tape over it. It’ll never slip on you

Not sure we will ever be pros but trying to slowly get better over time 👍
I do it a little different
Yeah you don't Wang the ground pulling out of your tape.
...Wang??
👍 thanks
