- Bioware has released some bad games (Anthem and Mass Effect: Andromeda). Can they redeem themselves with DA The Veilguard?
P.S.: I hope the game is good.

Hey Guys, on this channel I talk about Gaming, RPGs CRPGs, ARPGs, Open World Games, Gaming News, and how the Triple A Gaming World is trying to steal your money, basically.

Dragon Age, Dragon Age Veilguard, New Dragon Age, Woke Dragon Age, New Dragon Age Game, Dragon Age Character Creator, Dragon Age The Veilguard Review, Veilguard Review, Dragon Age Chest Scars, Asmongold Dragon Age, Luke Stephens Dragon Age, Mass Effect Andromeda, Bioware
DA Origins was the best representing the gritty dark storytelling, all it needed was a bit more touch-up on the crpg combat. Political stuff aside, Veilguard looks and feels like something completely different. They're just using Dragon Age as a label to bring back fans for nostalgia until fans notice it's not even close to what they fell in love with.
I really dont mind the landscapes or the combat changing. What I hate is how they simplified it and the dialogue and not a fan of the weird chests exploding when you hit them. Also what is with the darkspawn looking like they are high on meth with the weird googly eyes??? They are meant to be beasts. I mean the bright colours dont bug me but the googly eyes do... Plus the character dialogue between each-other. Bellara is like winnie the pooh in a bad way...she seems like shes based on an american instagram star who does toxic positivity quotes. Lucanis seemed to have a lot of potential with his demon spite but even that interaction looks superficial. The necromancer no clue. The bloody "detective" is so monotone and has no depth to her. Harding seems to be a clone of Bellara. There is no character background questions. There is no world exploration with side quests, you just go straight into a different area after like 15 mins of gameplay...meh I could go on and on.
It already failed. It failed when they decided to bail on long time fans and focus on the mythical modern audience. What they failed to realize is they already had this modern audience and all they are doing is driving off most of their customer base.
We got to see character creator in depth and it clearly proved the sliders did absolutely nothing. The darkspawn look like they were made by Pixar. Everything in this game looks bright and awkward, just like the people it was made for.
Yeah that was so weird
It is going to get Bioware shut down.
90% of the OG Bioware team is gone, Bioware of today is just a different company.
Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem were 2 strikes, the third strike is going to be Dragon Age Veilguard.
It is going to be released by the end of the month and there is no hype whatsoever around the game, everything they shown just made my decision not to even try the game when it is going to be 10$ or less.
The thing that sucks the most is this is Biowares last attempt to make something stick and they already gaurteened its downfall with the: art style (not as dark or horrifying), the game deciding that previous game choices dont matter, overhauled combat system that is loosing its simple and effective turn based attacks, and finally the fact the game has no identity (seriously remove the title and you woul assume this was some other rpg).
I get it could be something special but for me with how it runs cureently i dont think its going to sit well with audeinces or work for the cureent fan base. Thats just my two cents :/
That all seems correct to me. I expect classic DA fans will probably be disappointed with this.
@GeneralRubicon it sucks cause I was really excited to see what they would do with the story. Then again we did a suprise Pikachu face from the lead writer when EA just announced it randomly during games con :/ (god it was simpler times lol)
@@slowowned51 this is just a speculation video tbh if you really want to see what it’s like on release you should buy it! Go with a default character model and play for under two hours to see!
The problem is there is a subsection of the fans who suffer from toxic positivity and won't except any criticism of the game. They are essentially like the people who said the Titanic would never sink and seem determined to go down with the ship.
@@MrDay53unlike the subsection of fans who are just negative in general. Like the ones who say the game looks worse than dragon age origins when objectively by every measurable statistic you can think of the game is a superior game. You having subjective likes and dislikes is fine but there are people who just hate the game because they hate the game. Some people hate the game for political reason that have nothing to do with the game itself.
There is a Modern Audience but it's not big enough to support the budget of a AAA game and many in that community would rather have tactical combat options than be pandered to. It's not the stuff they put into the game. It's what they took out and de-prioritized.
Hesitant to play. Feel like this game will be liken a cousin that’s been released from jail; you’re happy to see them but don’t trust them and you’re not sure who they are anymore. 😅
Won’t be purchasing until I get confirmation it’s not a complete abomination. 🏵️
Well of course Luke Stephens gave it a positive review. He’s looking for the next company to shill for, since Ubi is circling the drain.
Jim Henson would be proud of DA:Veilguard. The muppets are back!
while i think top surgery scars are stupid in a world with magic, i could survive it, but not having curvy boobs and butt is unforgivable. It is very controlling to deny people the basic options in a character creator. if they are going to be dicks about boobs and ass i have zero confidence that the rest of the game will be any good.
Yeah it seems very corporate
??? Making boobs and butts bigger is a basic option in charakter creators? Did I miss something?
The creators I know normally don't give you any options at all. Best is that you can chose between 2 different general body types. Most options are always for the head (face and hair, etc.)
Veilguard gives you the option and the only thing you do is complain that it is not enough? How much bigger boobs and butts would have been enough for you then?
Gee, I will never understand humans. We are such a weird species 😂
@@inoel75 If they brag how good is this character creator, that you can recreate actors and so on, yet it lacks compared to DD2. Maybe this is why they didn't put any demo for creator or bits of gameplay at steam.
can't even make a jacked big muscular dude with wide shoulders and narrow hips
not at all
they neutered the entire thing
In every rpg bioware you had 1 or more characters very very sexy. In this? Is not a problem of the editor, it's an ideological war against the MALE GAMER etero, 95% of the gamers, sorry for my english@@inoel75
I hate this attitude the fans of Origins and Mass Effect have that they need to play this game to support BioWare because this company is not the BioWare that made Origins, Mass Effect and KotoR. It is a sad corpse of what it once was that was been destroyed by corporate greed and a political agenda.
I don't know if it took you a while to make this video, but there are already full play-throughs being released of the first area by creators who took the payoffs to be lathered up like a pig at the feast. Despite most of them glowing the game up, it still lets you see a lot more of what this game has to offer and, at least for me, reveals how much absolute cringe dialogue and mediocre gameplay this trailer was hiding.
The culture stuff is not specifically why this game will fail; it's a red flag towards the creative bankruptcy that current-day AAA game developers have sunk to. All the people that made the previous DA games are gone and those positions have been filled with activists who want 'representation' over quality and drones who crank out what they are told to without ever going outside the lines.
On top of that, the budgets for games like this have soared to the point that, even with sales that might look impressive to the average joe, do not earn back the money invested and result in mass layoffs and studio closures.
I really don't expect Veilguard to break this mold.
@@ToxicPickle424 I didn’t want to use other creators footage because nobody knows if they’re sponsorships, paid ads, etc. But yes I agree.
@@GeneralRubicon An invitation to a private event in San Francisco could be enough. They paid for the traveling and expenses around it I bet. It's not level of free disneyland visit from Ubi (was it Ubi?) but nobody, who want to get into more of those events to get a previevs of the games, will criticize DAV.
Luke Steven's paid for his own ticket and hotel and he said the game was great
@@ForgorenWolf I’m not accusing anyone of anything. I’m just worried about using creator day game testing as footage and evidence after the act man payday 3 debacle.
@@ForgorenWolf Luke Stephens also talked up Star Wars: Outlaws when they lathered him up as well.
Until the game came out and was shit, where he gave it a more fair review which doesn't make up for all the shilling he did ahead of the release.
Aside from it being woke, it doesn’t seem as well written or even animated as previous titles. Hard pass.
Interesting. The writing is the only thing we know almost nothing about. Agree that MELE had emotive animation that I haven't yet seen in DAV. But again, we haven't seen any emotive scenes in DAV
I don't really know about the writing. I don't think you do either but animated are you serious? This game is objectively better animated than all the dragon age games. And that's not even an argument. That's just how technology progresses over time. You can say that you like the type of gameplay that origins was or the other dragon age games had, but to pretend that the game has like worse animation. Ok.
@@Grimjr7 It looks like a mobile game, and they have somehow made their characters uglier than in previous games. To clarify, perhaps not the writing as a whole, but from what is available on open source and through leaks it does not seem more impressive than Origins. My hope was that since they had time and resources to create an epic game, it would surpass Origins or other releases. I do not want this game to fail, I want it to be great and I want BioWare to produce an awesome DA game and later an awesome ME game, but the outlooks does not look good.
@@Lorethe2nd That's the art style. You don't like the art style, and that's okay.
But animation? Leagues better than the other games. Writing? We don't know yet. We have bits and pieces, but not enough in context to determine if it's good or not. You can point at a line here or there, but even the best written stories have moments of weakness - so writing can't really be judged yet.
@@Lorethe2nd
I really don't get it, so please try to explain. What exactly is woke about Veilguard so far?
The option for breast scars that you can simply ignore and will have absolutely no impact on your game?
Please don't get me wrong, I am personally totally annoyed with some of the tendencies we see in modern games, but in this case I just can't follow.
Since we hardly know anything about the story, we simply cannot know whether Veilguard will be woke (in a negative way) or not.
To me all this current outlash is just bizarre...
as a millennial, i can not agree more with how dog s**t millennial writing is.
If I hear it in a game it almost immediately makes me want to Alt+F4.
@@GeneralRubicon "take that bad guys, You just got, SMOKED , KA-BOOYAH" *insert peeky blinders guy screaming with gun held to head*
I hope the game is good. However, if it's not good I REALLY hope it fails horribly. I love DA: Origins, and hated every single piece of media released after. And Veilguard seems to be the farthest and most extreme deviation from Origins yet. I absolutely do not want more encouragement for bad Dragon Age in the form of financial success. If that leads to Bioware dying, oh well. They were already dead.
You hope the game is good and then you say you hope it fails? WTF. Its either or bro. And the only way your going to know if it’s good is if you buy it. Tham that means you have helped the game succeed. Make up your fucking mind. That’s the problem with you millennials and gen z people your always riding the fucking fence. Have some conviction and principles. Make a choice and stick with it.
I want Bioware to finally lay down and rest
Sadly I believe Veilguard: Kill the Elven Gods will be mid as hell and still keep it on life support even if killing it would be mercy
If youre gonna use "we got company" as a milennial line, maybe only use millenial movies
That wasn’t really the point. It was a very small example of non creativity
@@GeneralRubicon well why not add non creativity and generic writing to your list? Maybe i missed something, but it seems like the specifically mentioned gripe was millennial writing. You could also simply cut out all non millennial movies when pointing to that as an example. Or find a more poignant example.
The downfall of Bioware definitely started with, if not outright because, of the EA acquisition.
Dragons Age 2 notoriously had a short dev cycle and was obviously incomplete. Removed choice of race/origin, inability to fully customize companion builds and equipment, less equipment in general, massively downsized and reused environments, and horrrible encounter design. Gameplay advancements wherein many aspects felt like a step backward not forward, the writing was still there but had gaping holes. It was impressive for what they had to work with, but that didn't make it a good game.
Dragon Age Inquisition, whatever its strengths, was worse in regards to core gameplay. Many build types were outright removed, nevermind the janky spot they landed trying to split the difference between hack and slash and tactical party-based combat. As well, mechanics like skills and attribute selection were cut out, and the tactics menu barely existed anymore. You could argue it worked better than DA2, but it was bad in other ways. The main story was strong and polished, but the writing was definitely starting to go here, and a lot of the grime that was emblematic of the series thus far was downplayed or overlooked.
Plus, I know nothing of Mass Effect, but the ending of the trilogy definitely lost them a ton of goodwill and faith from fans.
i have buy all dragon age game and this one i wont buy at all because, no-replayability value they all 1 gender so less reactivity about how you create your character, and all old game choice not impact the game so less replay value. If you pick elf in the 1 you roleplay hating human and been hated by them, if you play a gay in dragon age 2 some npc insult you, in the 3 game you can replay the game to unlock romance by been a men and then a women with another character. The best about this game is playing blind gameplay and pray you get the romance you want , but now the veilguard whatever gender you pick not change anything and 1 single gameplay you get all dialog/reactivity , if we pay 80$ for a game we want replay it and roleplay it with reactivity and not having a single gameplay in a woke heaven. In dragon age the gameplay to do was: Female: picking decision like in IRL, then Male: evil character, then female Elf: evil-loyal also you can edit the old game decision to change the world in the 3. In the 4 i just see decision/replay value linear. It going to make concord floop 2nd,
Where are you from?
In the veilguard you only need one play through in the origins you were gender locked for replay ability and a reason to try other classes and races along with 2 male/female were to get replay ability to try other classes and family's composition based on if your a warrior/rogue and mage actively the game is specifically designed around your choices and your argument is i had to make another character but in the veilguard i don't-
Most of this is blatantly false and already proven so by gameplay they've shared. You get different reactions by playing different races and backgrounds. Also, the game costs $60.
@@vergillives9890 that what i call good replay value and get more game for that money, they also ruined qunari now they look like justin bieber with horn
DragQueen Age will fail
Bro 😂
I predict it will "sell" simply because it's dragon age(Dragon Age fans are likely going to buy it simply because it's Dragon Age) but not nearly enough to satisfy EA and likely won't even break even. It's not going to be Concord level disaster, but it won't be success either. It'll release, have a small fanbase. Maybe it'll have four or five digit amout of steam players on launch and then the popularity will take a nosedive to triple digits within days.
TRUE
Absolutely agree 👍🏼
Modern BioWare made some mind boggling changes and decisions that I just can’t get behind, especially after BG3. With each new game they reduce the RPG element for the sake of Modern Audience.
Where are the skills? Persuasions? Herbalism? Survival etc..?
You can’t even make Evil/Grey decisions or learn Blood Magic like in Origins because they don’t befit a Hero.
F*^%k that, this ain’t RPG if you remove the R.
Lol "goes too much into politics". Meanwhile all of the DA series involves politics...
I find the whole "too much into politics", stupid. Any Call of Duty Game is about American Soldiers fighting to uphold and protect American values. That sounds pretty political to me 🤔
I for sure have my skepticism with the Veilguard, but many games have political intrigue at their core. Hell, even Game of Thrones is rooted in politics and that is a major TV series.
The politics in the lore is another thing that the politics from the reality in the game. In this world we don't need scar or trans. But just a great story and, why not, sexy characters, for male woman and gay, as every mass effect.
@@cicciomagri2558 certainly something to be said about integrating politics in a good way as writers rather than lazy.
How do you think The Veilguard’s release will go?
EA will take that old dog to the pasture.
Enough to shutdown
i suspect a few million but not enough to be worth the bloated budget
@@ttrev007oh what's the budget?
Who cares about surgery too scars? Character creators have always allowed scars. Some even allow you to modify how much tits bounce. But too scars are a deal breaker?
I'm a Bioware fan since back when they started with BG but for Veilguard they really seems that the old fans are forbidden to play / buy it:
- change from cool name Dreadwolf to Veilguard in violet
- first trailer looks like Fortnite crap / mobile game
- first informations are only about how GAY / TRANS / BLACK the main cast is, not a single word about story, gameplay, missions
- shows character editor which won't allow you to make normal sized breasts only man cups but offers top surgery scars of trans mentally ill people which are outlawed already in a good amount of states
- removed spiders and made darkspawn looking like skeletons because they were to scary
- Bioware openly attacks old fans and insults them as "tourists"
- no loot anymore, only at the end of a mission
- second trailer looked at least more like oldschool but combined with the gameplay trailern looked like heavily mediocre
But there are some good point in this pile of shit hidden:
- nice visuals in general
- somewhat good level design even so it is linear but worked for Mass Effect
- evenly balanced classes which was heavily unbalanced in all 3 former games, now you can be a mighty mage, warrior or rogue (biggest difference was i.e. in Inquisition where a rogue could kill a dragon in 2 sec while mage, warrior needs 5-10 min)
- interesting big skill tree with 3 general specialisiations
In general it looks like that they still have good developer for the gameplay / level design part and the crappy DEI hires twisted the companions and partially the story most likely.
Will it completely fail like Star Wars Outlaws in terms of sales? No
Will it hit the sales targets that were likely discussed in the EA/Bioware boardroom when they were green lighting the project at its outset? No chance.
Failguard is not BW's last chance. Mass Effect 5 is. That game is already being worked on, and it's their biggest IP. EA's money spigot only turns off when they see 0 potential. If Mass Effect 5 flops, then to quote Pvt Hudson, "It's game over man. Game over."
I hate that a lot of videos that critique the game focuson it being "woke". What matters is that it threw away everything that makes Dragon Age, Dragon Age. It's strength was its freedom, its rich lore, its continuity throughout games, its tactical combat system, etc. All that is gone. The game holds your hand to a ridiculous degree, the dialogue even reflects that. They are literally narrating what steps you need to take every 3 seconds. And the dialogue also feels so incredibly generic. The art style is not bad for a game in general, but bad for a Dragon Age game. The UI feels like it's from a shitty mobile MMO, and so do the combat indicators. I've anticipated this game for a long time, but I genuinely want it to fail. A message needs to be sent that gamers want games that are fun, not games that are either built on greed, a political agenda (political themes are cool, but do not push either side as obviously morally "better", make it a dubious and nuanced thing), or both. Genuinely, fuck the modern gaming industry.
Will it fail? No. It has glowing previews and it looks beyond solid. For sure, there's a noisy contingent of bigots raging about it, but internet noise does not equate to failure.
hopefully it will, so the sorry remains of that studio can be finally put to rest.
It’s not really the same studio anymore
I'd like to know which creators gave it a negative review? The only one I have seen is WolfhertFPS that was mixed
I just hope is goes bad and bioware goes out of business and the woke developers are left jobless. That's how you get better things, by getting rid of shitty ones.
Vote with your wallets people.
Have to strongly disagree with "the combat looks okay". It looks absolutely terrible. Just look at the idiotic backward twists and pirouettes Rook is performing and the insane amount of VFX in a sword(!)fight. No way, someone competent in creating RT combat for fantasy games comes up with something looking like that.
Maybe so but I think it would be better with a player and not whoever was recording this footage 😂
"Veers too much in the realm of politics." Dragon Age, a series of political intrigue with mage pogroms, monarch schisms & saving the world from evil isn't political. Sure...
Yes because clearly medieval/ fantasy political intrigue is what I meant.
Who’s funding this, 2 flops? Maybe 3 soon
One of the more reasonable takes I've seen. I'm tired of woke BS too, but I can ignore the bs in the charcter creator because its optional. I think the combat looks fine, but combat isn't the sticking point of Dragon Age, its story, character and choices. Im still excited for this game. Not gonna let nitpicks ruin it. This coming from a guy who loves Origins and Inquisition, but found Inquisition to be even better than Origins, and that still holds with the recent Origins playthrough ive been doing the past few weeks.
Idk where it's 59.99 but in my country it's currently in consoles at $69.99 and the deluxe is $89.99
So, trans want to swap their gender, right? They can make female/male already. BW has lost all creativity and focused on activism instead. Who had thought director of the sims would be best suited for leading in rpg project? They even removed spiders from enemy bracket to make it safe for arachnophobes. I'm an arachnophobe irl and never was scared of spiders in games. This game is going to be bland as most modern projects. DAO would never have happened nowadays. Companions like Oghren would cause backlash from modern "journalism". I've played Andromeda and their companion roster was filled with those boring pixels without balls. I have even less hope for DAV and ME5...
Great review, I don’t think it looks that great tbh
Josh Whedon is a Boomer... Like most Marvel writers...
What have us Millennials anything to do with that?
Easily the most divisive game in recent history... but also one I'm really looking forward to. Then again, I'm biased cuz Dragon Age is in my top 3 favorite IPs of all time!
My wife watched my video and couldn’t believe her eyes about the chest scars (not really tapped into gaming news that much)
I really hope it’s good!
That is such a forced and dimwitted way to implement trans inclusivity... at best, it shows a lack of experience in immersion creation and at worst, narcissism and immaturity but sadly, I'm not surprised in the least.
@@GavinSalmon I completely agree. Sounds like some old dudes sitting around a board room desk thought that one up.
grown people getting upset over **optional** cc features like top surgery scars is genuinely baffling. who gives a fuck fr. not being able to give rook cake is the more pressing issue here.
Ask yourself a question why developers thought that this specific option was so important for their medieval fantasy setting to actually implement and focus on it in promo materials and you will have the answer
Andromeda could have been great had they not abandoned it so quickly for another game that was even worse. Gotta make that live service money I guess. I liked Andromeda but not as a Mass Effect game.
I feel like Veilguard will go the way of Furiosa: a good product, but poor marketing, combined with the current political climate, will result in failure.
i would not say it is a good product, the Qunari look like ass. even their touted character creator is super restrictive, the dialogue sounds like cringe, and i have not heard good things about the game play. this game will do better then merit warrants simply because of its name.
@ttrev007 so did Inquisition, and most in the fandom consider it be the best in the series. Though I will agree, Qunari look horrible in this.
If someone is buying this game, they are buying into all the DEl stuff that is clearly evident and being pushed into this game. If you have morals and a backbone, you don't buy this product or support it in anyway.
Did you play BaldursGate, Cyberpunk, Eldenring or Helldivers? GZ you have no morals or a backbone 🤡
Agreed, i want to play dragon age, bht i dont want to support this slop, so, five finger discount yarrrr.
Yeah, you're just bigoted against company. What did company ever do to you, huh? Maybe you're just jealous that they got company and you don't! I mean, other than the company called Bioware/EA which promoted a Sims/sports game guy to lead the design of the next DA installment... That company is testing how powerfully they can induce facepalms.
I see this all the time on twitter too. How can people defend companies that do terrible things to their customer base?
It depends of the story and companions, if they failed that... It's over. Andromeda, gameplay, graphics was pretty solid... but fetch quest, average companion, mid treat made the game not great just enough decent. It seems Bioware lack of vision, old talent. Too sanitize with most of games today because we all know why, millenial writing, cringe, they never face real challenge in life and it shows, they are better on X/Twitter yapping about shitty things nobody cares. Ubi, Bethesda went to that way and see now nobody trust them anymore. Last chance for bioware, last chance.
Lets see how their modern audience bring money to their game
The game's only hope is a lack of knowledge from purchasers and every single queer person buying it because most of us will be passing on this one.
Im afraid for the next mass effect... blue alien womans trans....
The game will be somewhat good but all the crap around it will make it a financial disappointment and the studio will be shut down by EA.
Not sure about veilguard, definitely don't appreciate the "woke' in the game, but Andromeda was the best mass effect, and Anthem was just a combat game, and it did that in a particular way that was unique and extremely satisfying. Anthem should have had better content, but it is fun.
I liked the original ME Trilogy better
I’ll try it on the EA play to complete the story then probably forget about it and go back to playing BG3.
I wish veil guard would be good, but it looks arcadey, non immersive, lame art design with uncool look transmogs
There are multible reasons why am not buying this game and one of the reasons is the combat. They completely removed and changed the tactical combat that made Dragon age fun and once apon unique among singel player games. I loved DAO back in the day and i found DAII's combat fun including the DAI. This combat looks to Mass Effect. Nothing wrong about that but as i said DA had its own uniqueness to its combat.
Also they removed the Dragon Keep from this game so all the choices you have done in prevoius games are gone making it all feel, It was all for nothing feeling, or it was all a waste of my time.
The art style looks to Fortnite and clean, The enemies to generic and not Dragon age-ish, The Character customization looks ok but not great compare to something InZoi is gonna be able to do.
I think this is what will happen.
The game will be a woke mess but it won't have Concord's numbers (concord is a new IP), it will have below average success, and probably not enough to satisfy EA.
Bioware won't say anything right away,
The activists disguised as game journos will get desperate (as they want AND need a win so much) so they will push this game very hard to be GOTY, and probably Veilguard will win.
But this desperate move will backfire. Why? Because the games that the activists journos will knight and the games the GAMERS liked and loved will be very different (last time they were lucky with BG3, even tho the reasons both sides supported the game were VERY different).
And with this move, the people that hadn't noticed yet, will realize the circus and the fake that GOTY truly is.
Remember GOTY is chosen by the game journos, by activits that want to push an agenda, not by the real Gamers, the people that, ACTUALLY, play the games.
Months later EA will announce it's disappointment with Dragqueen Age: The Failguard, and probably shut Bioware down.
The possibility may sound crazy at first, but it is not that far fetched at all if you think about it.
Yep. Preorder numbers are crap right now
Are they?
Can't fix the screwed up dialogue but you can reskin the game and make the characters actually look good. I have it reskinned and weapons mods to make it more acceptable. At least there was a game there unlike Anthem which was a true joke on us.
Truuu
If anyone thinks this is going to do well then I gotta say you’re a special one.
Apparently the preorders are good.
@@GeneralRubicon what I don’t know what sources you are using but no the pre orders is why they’re panicking about the release. On top of the god awful graphics and customization but hey you can cut off the female breast and make your characters look as butch and Hindi as possible.
Will it? It has already failed before release. Maybe handful of 13 modern audiences and maybe streamers cause they will have to review.!
Me too. It’s best of both worlds for reviewers cause if it’s bad then it’s easy to make fun of it but if it’s good we get to celebrate it.😂
Spoiler - Yup. Massively.
Asmongold just championed children getting tortured to death. His views a meaningless to me
Wait what?
@@GeneralRubicon Yeah, it's as bad as it sounds. He has been on a downward spiral ever since his mom died. I would feel bad for him but he's become such an insufferable ass hat I can't watch him anymore. Even if I agree with some of the things he says, I don't want to here it from him.
The game looks fun, I'll buy ìt
I’m buying it too. I hope it’s fun.
My best DA buddies, including me, all cancelled our pre-orders. So I think, yeah, it will fail.
I'll be getting it. I mean you made a point on the writing for Varric, but that is the sort of thing Varric has said throughout the series. Any character creator stuff I can ignore as I wont be using it, so I dont feel the need to be offended by it. Hoping the story is good but looks promising from what I've seen.
The fact they put it in the character creator tells me they can’t control injecting there bs all over the game. Hopefully u enjoy it but they’ve made me hyper sensitive to there crap at this point
I have played all of them loved each of them but this! this!!! is not a game I would ever play in this genre the first FABLE game I will not play... I mean dragon age looks to much like fable but at least fable is a game that takes the piss out of it self on purpose.
My wish is.. overpowered epic fail..
I have to go
Dragon WOKE The Fail Hard will fail
We ain’t getting the new mass effect t
dA:BiGaga will fail. period.
Andromeda was totally different people. The writers on this are vets from older BG/ME/DA games. So, whatever you feel about the artstyle, the writing should be great.
You clearly didn't see his examples of millennial righting which is another reason people are not going to buy the game. Yes Dragon Age has always had some humor but it was at the right moments. In Dragon Age 2 when Hawkes mother died would the moment be as good if some of the companions started throwing out quips and or one liners, no the moment would be ruined. And there or examples of other bad writing in the opening 20 minutes of Veil Guard as well.
I liked Origins but I liked Inquisition even more, I was obsessed with Inquisition for awhile. We won't know for sure until it releases but I think Veilguard has a chance of being the best Bioware game ever and I'm really looking forward to it.
Yea the combat you showed di not show that mobile app interface that comes up to control your party, yuck!
It has already failed!
Basically it's because the people making our entertainment now learned everything they know from other entertainment. People are effectively an AI and we've been pumping our creatives with garbage and now it's all their algorithm regurgitates
I find your comparison to Larian a bit offensive tbh. 😅 Larian still has a lot to prove. They put out two good games, BioWare used to be a giant, one of a kind ... a long time ago.
The REAL BioWare is now called Archetype Entertainment btw. Their upcoming title Exodus is going to be the REAL Mass Effect 4 (not 5).
I can see that but I was mostly being specific to the goodwill that people have for them. People have almost unparalleled trust in Larian nowadays and they used to with Bioware. Also, DOS 1 DOS 2 and BG3 were all awesome imo😂
Woah how have I never heard of this? Do they have original BioWare devs there?
Larian was set up in 1996 and Bioware in 1995. It is not because you never heard and or played any Larian games before BG3 they never produced anything of value. Maybe one should be less preoccupied by "feelings" and more occupied with realities. I think Bioware had the misfortune to be sold to EA by their debtors, and that is when the doctors lost all creative power of their property overnight.

What does any of this have to do with anything, edgelord? So many meaningless words. Larian could have been founded in 1873, who cares!?!? Comparing BioWare of old to Larian is like comparing Porsche to Fiat. Live with it.
yes it will fail
The new art style and gameplay makes it look very childish. Its like Dragon Age for kids. its genuinely off putting when watching the various gameplay clips we have seen this far.
Will it fail? It already has.
No. What is it with tiny channels crying about everything 🤣🤣 get a grip
The game is going to be trash. We can all see it. Doesn’t matter how small a channel is, he clearly has eyes and common sense. The truth is if dragon age wasn’t attached to the name it wouldn’t even be worth mentioning.
My wish is.. overpowered epic fail..
I have to go
