Keepa is a very important tool for Amazon FBA in 2023, I use it every single day for product analysis in my own 7 figure Amazon business. Enjoy this tutorial which will take you from complete beginner to being able to easily Analyze products to flip on Amazon FBA in 2023. Whether you're online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, wholesale, or used books on Amazon FBA you need to be good at reading keepa charts to tell price action, supply, and demand.
Keepa offers an incredible amount data to Amazon sellers at a cheap cost.
Keepa costs $20/mo and is a necessity for product research specifically analyzing 3 main things.
#1 - Velocity. How quick does an item sell? How has the demand changed overtime? You find this by reading keepa charts.
#2 - Competition. How much competition is on a product and how has that increased/decreased since the product has been on Amazon?
#3 Price action. Has the price increased or decrease overtime? What is the recent trend.
As Amazon sellers, it is important to know all 3 of these traits to better analyze products, saving us both money and time.
Back when I started in 2021 I began using Keepa to source products and it changed the game. For only $20/mo I can see the exacts sales history on any product overtime. This lead me to do $1m+ in revenue my first year.
Now I use Keepa and SellerAmp (tutorial below) for product research, they go hand in hand.

Do you change the pricing of your items? i.e. If price drops or rises. If so daily, weekly? How do you stay on top of this if you have hundres of items you are selling? TY

1. From a book selling perspective, what Keepa data tells us if it's BB or NON-BB getting the sales? (ex. Does the BSR correspond directly with BB? How do we know if non featured offers are actually behind the BSR drops?)
2. What Keepa data tells us which condition is selling? (ex. What if I have a used copy but the condition selling is actually new or vice versa)
How to set a Notification of Price Drops or if it reaches the Price we want to buy it at ?

Great content, always looking forward to your videos! Is there a significant difference between the charts that are available in SellerAmp versus what’s in Keepa? It looks like in Keepa you can click through the data more where as SellerAmp, at least in the mobile app is just graphs. Just starting out so trying to limit my overhead costs, have SellerAmp now but hopefully can expand to Keepa soon.
Nope theyre the same - however I like the advanced keepa data too that SA doesnt give. Just start with SA!

Very good question - and thanks for the kind words. So if something doesnt have a sales rank, audit the overall flow of the competition on the keepa chart to gauge velocity.

Hi I followed your way on Keepa to find sellers going out of stock. If the seller is going out of stock, surely, by the time I order and get my products to amazon they would already be back in stock? By assuming we are competing on price and being Prime if all the sellers are FBM? Thanks!

on the first product in buy box statistics one seller has low stock and low review and won buy box 20% but there is other seller with stock more than 1000 and higher reviews 6000+ but won buy box 2% why is that can you explain plz

Thanks bro, you can select used on Keepa. to see the used graph, any item thats selling new is also selling used (at least for books)!
how to know what products to sell if you are not a niche store and selling anything?
You look at the SellerAmp and Keepa data
Do you need both Keepa and AMZ scout? I did the trial for AMZ scout and it has their own Keepa graph.

One thing about keepa and similar tools.. is that the most imp matric is qty_sold .. we can only see past 30days avg .. any idea how to bring qty_sold data for 90, 180, or 1 yr or so period ranges..?
Never look at the offers tab for qty sold.

What does it signify when the buybox line disappears for a few weeks or months on the chart? Does that mean that the listing was taken down?
It means Amazon took the buybox away, it doesnt mean the listing was taken down!

Not unless the drop is crazy steep, but people wouldn't just stop selling an item like that. You're overthinking it

@@Flips4Miles I ended up contacting support (after trying to reinstall) since the issue was also with my browser on my laptop. Anyway, there's a configure columns setting that I never noticed before. I hit reset and was good to go.
