When I was a senior in high school I wanted to join the military and be a NAVY Seal, kind of like what you see on the Russian ad. If I saw todays ad, I surely would never have wanted to join.
think a little deeper, America has the biggest military, and one of their best assets is unironically their diversity and ability to get different cultures to work to one goal. modern war is reliant on technology money and propaganda.. the fact that they have the budget and willingness to target the female demographic shouldnt be overlooked.

Here in Germany it‘s also ridiculous. There actually are several very good recruiting campaigns on many different platforms like TV, newspaper or RUclips. But the problem is: There are no people who want to join military. The problem isn‘t the quality, but the quantity.
German military has a lot of good stuff, in some cases even the best worldwide, but the people to use this material are missing xD
Well people where told that there is no national self interest and there is no such thing as a German people. So there is no reason to fight.

I live in US, served in US Army for over 10 years (2003-2014) and not once did I see that ad airing anywhere. The only official Army ads I've seen aired on TV, was 'Be all you can be' ad, and 'Army of One' ad. I don't know who made this Ad, but I hardly doubt it was ever approved by DOD and probably never aired anywhere either.
