jesus isai's fox is ridiculously fast....i noticed it in other matches but u can really see just how fast it is in this match....DK cudn't do anything to punish the fox after attcking and jus kept on getting grabbed to ledgeguards.....good shit.
This smash is difficult. I don't know if it's my controller or maybe it's because I'm not on a CRT, but this smash is dang tough. I'm proud that I figured out how to shine-cancel in my first day of playing though lol. I don't know how to do consistently.
-Neo Nemesis- taking 3 stock´s from isai in rhis match ? that sounds a little ironic XD i imagine this match but in hyrule, this DK will not had a chance. you know , i think if even SSB only had Hyrule Casttle as a stage ,will be a exelent game. well ,it is not the big deal here, good match.
I never ever said that DK is all about luck, you need to re-read the comment. The point was that he didn't do anything impressive, he got lucky and isai made mistakes. I'm just calling it as I see it, I don't even give a shit about isai.
His first kill on Isai was impressive?? Yeah right...all he did was ledge guard...his second kill on Isai was more impressive. Start watching at 1:37. That's wayyyy more skillful than doing a cheap-ass ledge guard. Regardless, great match. Jel did good playing as low-tier DK
@DocZoda Abuse? Against fox it's like one of the few things DK has going for him. Without it he'd have an even harder time in these matchups, which are already hard enough
there is nothing cheap about edgeguarding someone. you have to abuse characters' disadvantages - dk's recovery is poor, thus having him off the edge is ideal. you never want to get into a dashdance grab battle with him, his arms are too long. when he's in the air or off, much easier time with him. plus, the edge game is another facet of the game to be skilled at. it sounds like you aren't particularly adept at it if you never do it. head to head fights can occur off the stage just as much as on.
i'm not sure why you want people ON the stage when deaths occur off it. seems illogical. that being said, i don't think it's 'cheap and pathetic'. when i play against falcons, foxes, and dks, i want them near or off the edge, because of how limited their options/recoveries are. i don't want fox on the ground spamming me with lasers and i don't want falcon dancing around me for a grab to get me in the air. if it's a choice between losing my stock with a 02D or edgehogging...that's a no brainer.
i agree, ledge-hogging is insanely cheap, and so is jumping off the stage and attacking an enemy trying to recover. i wait for my enemies to recover if they can and continue the fight
@MeercatMonstro Come on bro, I got to admit it takes more skill to master the 64 instead of brawl. I mean I don't understand how to do anything in the 64 but it was simply easy to pick up alot of things on brawl. Granted I'm not the best at brawl but it was easier to pick up then anything like Z-canceling (which I still don't get.) I believe what makes some people play melee or brawl or 64 is by thier type of fighting style they like.
このシリーズはぴかちゅうかフォックスが1番見てておもろいな!
2:00 melee fox
I never questioned what you said before. Anyone who plays a mean DK gets mad props (Jel, SBF, Isai and definitely Bum's SSBM DK).
i like how in the end Isai tried to style and Jel, was like, "NO!"
Thanks for the comment IndigoR my DK keeps geting better as I play him I even have a some what good Fox.
No problem Jel. Considering how well you handle Isai with low tiers, you're underrated.
I'd love to see one of you do this well against isai, let alone with a lower tier character.

BIG WHOOP is RIGHT that was me commenting btw how dare you guys thumbs down me you guys should thumbs up this one to make it all right again
Jesus Isai's a monster
Coo King de-de-de is in the back round...
I totally agree, be defensive with DK is quite strange, and not very suited for his fighting style.

well ,it is not the big deal here,
good match.
by landing perfectly while firing a laser, it cancels the ending lag. Called a short hop double laser.
@DocZoda If it's in the game, and not a glitch, it's fair. Nobody says Ken/Ryu's dragon punch is cheap because of invincibility frames
what's isai's main character?
I think he uses Dtilt a lot. At least, he uses it way more than I do.
@battlecow1 I don't know, Superboomfan has a pretty mean DK too...
I hate the abuse of DK's B-Up invincibility frames its way too cheap
>"Impressive"
>Bthrow Edgeguard
yeah...
how do you shoot really fast like that?

look at the KO's at the end ... enough said
Jel really choked with those low recoveries that lost him his last 2 stocks. otherwise this was very close.
Jel did surprisingly well given the match-up
you clearly ahvent seen isais troll dk LOL he gets his last kill with the most ridiculous troll throw ive ever seen in my life...it was ridiculous
2:06 King dedede balloon in background :D
Jel plays a tight DK.
Jel's DK is amazing, Jel seems to have an excellent defense overall..
(3 years late, IDC...)
Smash 64 > Brawl in your opinion.

What a weird way to play with DK dont know if that was style or fear of isai
in all retrospects
i don't think anyone in the world could disagree. lol u didn't even have to comment
2:13 would've worked... if it were Melee.
DK is my main, and I cant stand this defensive style jel uses, im much more aggressive with him.

*The neutralB spam*
dude 64 is ten times better than brawl
how can he shoot the blaster that fast? that's impossible! :(
Project M (supposedly will be, but currently isn't) > Melee > Smash 64
@Fidazul 1:04 to 1:08! XD
I don't even doubt about my chance of victory. :)
i agree, ledge-hogging is insanely cheap, and so is jumping off the stage and attacking an enemy trying to recover. i wait for my enemies to recover if they can and continue the fight
@Jaytothecore That's because you don't outplay Isai in 64...
When a charater is not used properly, he sucks.
smash 64 way better than melee.air dodge should have gone in brawl

Definitely, by far. Melee is the best though =)
Very well-played.
You lost, who cares, you toke 3 stocks at least so you did a good job.
FOXは左右台をもっと使うべき、じゃなきゃ本当はもっと投げられてしまうから
Smash 64 > Melee
your hero got destroyed
im sorry but that DK sux
lol your silly
@Pi11owP4nts Smash 64 is better than melee :)
Wow DK backthrow OP
You're funny.
HELL YEAH!
melee > all
