I thought serve function is only for prime why there is a serve like ball at 1:28? Please explain as I’m thinking to get one and choosing which version to buy

Laurence Nyein go for expert if you don’t want to shell out more. I feel it is more than enough for most players wanting to improve their skills and techniques.

Lightice thanks for your reply. I already ordered Amicus start. I know it’s limited functionality but the price difference is more than half of another robot. I already stretched my budget to get the Start. It should be alright for me.

Laurence, all Amicus robots can do a serve where the robot serves with the first bounce on the robot's side, and the second bounce on the player's side. But what you probably are referring to is the Serve function of the Prime and Professional models. What this function does is to add a short delay before the first ball to replicate the short delay in a real game where the receiver is waiting for the server to begin the serve. Also, if 2 balls (3 with the Prime) are designated as serves, the robot will choose one of those serves and then play out the rest of the balls that are not designated as serves.
