Long time listener, thank you for the show! The intro audio reminds me of a game show and doesn't quite fit the vibe of you two! Something more relaxed like the intro of your youtube channel or the two of your voices introducing the show would be lovely. Grateful for all the goodness you share!

I thought the same awhile back. One of their episodes years ago touched on it I believe. It led me to think okay their vibe is chill but I believe Elijah said he liked this one blues or something musician & that is why they changed the intro to that upbeat sound. All that said it makes me wonder if there’s a funky fun side that dwells within them often but perhaps we don’t see since this is a small glimpse. 🤔🤷🏽♀️

Congrats on the new puppy. I have to say if a boy told my daughter he wouldn’t hold her hand unless she sold her pet, that would be a red flag 🚩 for me. I hope you were kidding and didn’t really expect her to get rid of her pet just because you didn’t like it? 🥴
Year 5 was a huge change for us too. For the better. But then, year 8 was even better. God became the ultimate focus and radically changed us as individuals and in turn us as a couple. We’re now creeping up on 16 years and praise God. 🎉 this was SUCH a GREAT episode to watch. Thank you for sharing.
Regarding your German Shephard story, I wonder if the modern dog diet effects their smell?
It only takes that one special dog, (or cat, if that’s your thing) to turn you from a non-animal person into a pet person. It’s hard to go back once that special one has crossed your heart!

Just wanted to say i love this podcast. So grateful for all you share through this platform. Im from the UK and in many ways its like we live parallel lives. My husband and i are also 8 years married. Our anniversary is 2nd April. We have 4 children. We homeschool also and are more alligned with reformed theology, calvanism etc.. although id just call myself a Christian 😊 we also limit screen time, we do not own a TV and i love spending my time researching about healthy food and diet. 😊

This year has been the hardest, most terrifying relationship-wise, the most frustrating, and * also * the MOST growing of any year together.
So many people get divorced at this point in our culture, and if they could just lean on God and start walking back towards their spouse-- that could've been lifelong marital happiness.

So sweet! Our good friend had one and it’s definitely a protector! He loved us because we met him when little. Introduce him to everyone you want him to be around while he’s still young. ❤️❤️

Congrats on the pup! My husband and I are open to getting a family dog...but in a few years. I'm already swamped trying to get the human babies housebroken, LOL.
We were mostly a 1 car household for our first 7 years of marriage. We made it work, but having a second car has made everything so much easier!
