I had a Neapolitan mastiff male he was awesome but unfortunately he lost his battle to cancer.we did everything possible to help him we took him to the vet and said it was just a stomach virus and it will go away with time then he got worse so we took him to a specialist then they told us to put him down because is intestine were loose, then my parents didn't want to put him down and give up on him so they took him to Mexico with a vet that studies cancer he's said if we would of came a couple of days sooner he could of saved him with his new treatment he been working on but unfortunately he lost his battle, so if you think something is really wrong take your pet to a good vet. he was only 4 year's old, Rip Dragon your in a better place
People like this, are the type that reassure me that there is still light in this world. Not just the dark-hearted, that continue to drag this world down a scary path of selfishness and anger.
I rescued a "defected" German Shepard puppy who was going to be tossed too. She had the same problem, after two months of work she is happy, and is now 3 years old! Also her name is star
That's what you get when you go to a breeder. Don't support breeders w/your money. Adopt a pet thru an animal shelter It's priceless to be able to save another animals life. BAN BREEDERS.
anna Last Eventually, that will work, but imagine the puppies that will die if you don't adopt some from a breeder. They will keep trying until all are sold
Dani Collantes that's why you breed. for money. it seems heartless, buts it's a business. And no, I don't support breeding. I could make a shitload of money with my mastiff girl, but if I see all the puppies, I would never sell them. I'm just throw me into it an cuddle me to death.
Its sad but allot of pups have to be put to sleep because of birth defects. Thankfully in this case the pup was able to be saved. I sincerely hope they were not intending to throw out the pup though. Probably not.
Travis Peach the breeders were giving her mercy by killing her. She wouldn't have lived for long at the most 3 years and she most likely would have been put down before then anyway. I feel bad for the puppers
God bless you for saving this precious baby, this is why these places That breed these animals for profit need to be closed down. all life is precious and this puppy deserves to live a full life
+Annie St.pierre Aren't you assuming much. I take it you don't know much about what you're talking about so let me educate you. 5 puppies in a neo litter is VERY rare. They can easily have 10 plus puppies in one litter. The small number tells me that this was probably a show breeder.. Why? Because show breeders will AI their females, which can lead to smaller litters. As this was likely a show breeder, the likelihood of them breeding for profit is small.. Let me explain, it can take up to ten thousand dollars to campaign a dog to championship. Dogs like Neos actually need a lot of time and special care on a daily basis. The food bill alone for these dogs is astronomical, and they don't feed cheap dog food. Then there are the health clearances, which involve xraying the hips, elbows cardiac dopplar, thyroid and DNA testing to insure the dog is disease free. Double that if you own the mother and the father,, if you don't add to that the stud fee.. which is probably why the litter was so small, the stud may live on the other side of the country, or even the other side of the world and they had to have semen shipped in. Then there is the implantation of the semen, which with a dog that size, they probably had a surgery which deposited the semen directly in her one of her uterine horns.. None of this is cheap,. All of this for one puppy that might be good enough to show. The price that the breeder gets for each puppy.. Let's say 2K.. doesn't even begin to cover the costs that the breeder has already put out. Saying they were going to throw the puppy out.. Well, we just have their word for it.. But you can't tell me that you don't know anyone who has over exaggerated something on social media.
+La Bella I agree with breeding for the purpose of keeping the best bloodlines of a breed going. Which involves what you are writing about. I think breeders are really important so the world dog population in general doesn't become one big type of mutt. Puppy farms? No. What you are talking about? Yes it's good.
+La Bella While others will hate on your comment, I commend you for actually knowing the facts regarding responsible breeding and having the guts to actually post them. I would have culled that swimmer, in the best interest of the breed. People who hate on responsible breeders are just as ignorant as backyard breeders. How in the world are breeds of dogs, cats, horses, or any other animal, developed, if not through careful, informed breeding for desired traits (which also means culling poor specimens? Answer: They're not.
Man some people are in such a dark, mentally sick place with themselves that they actually feel driven to hit 'dislike' on a story as beautiful and truly good as this one. Sad.
PAWsitive could you explain what exactly this dog was suffering from I work with the disabled community and I am always trying to learn more about treatments for people with dibilitating conditions
Hi! Willow was suffering from Swimmer's Syndrome. I put the definition in this video ruclips.net/video/rqrYu-EBCTw/видео.html another story about a pup with the condition.
What wonderful people to have the love and patience to put this pup back together to give her the chance of a good life. You put your faith into her and you have been rewarded with a special dog. God bless you all for saving this beautiful dog.
I hope that I am writ to the lady who saved the life of the dog . I just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you for saving that beautiful dogs life ! It's not many people who would do what you did . I have a Blue nose pit bull who was given to me when the dog was about 3 years old . I didn't know anything about the dog , all I know is that she was beautiful looking and I went home with her . She's now got a year with me and I've learned so much from my dog and she's the greatest dog I've ever owned ! You now have a new subscriber here and I'd give 100 thumbs up to you for saving that dogs life !! You have a heart of gold and may God always bless you !! Peace , love and respect to you for the person you turned out to be , OUTSTANDING !!!
Not really. A dog with a genetic defect isn't all that great in a breeder's eyes. He wouldn't even be able to sell that dog for the same amount of money he sold all the others. As harsh as that sounds, it's reality.
This video is one of the few examples of the people out of the can unity hoping the dog community and I think you them for that. I'm a dog lover myself and just seeing the dog just having a condition like that let alone being thrown away is sad. The person who helped this dog and all the dogs out there just like this dog I thank them. Thank you for being so Loving and caring to these dogs that need so much help. My hope and prayers go out to dogs and people just like them. Thank you. #SaveTheDogs
This was so amazing, and she turned out to be such a huge, healthy dog! And with beautiful eyes, that's such a special color. I'm amazed and inspired. Truly there's no such thing as giving up.
This is an amazing story. I love to see people who deeply love and respect animals, jump to the rescue when an animal is in need. You guys are awesome. Willow is so beautiful. ❤️
This "breeder" doesn't sound like a legit breeder at all. They sound something of a backyard or vanity breeder, someone who isn't in it for the breed itself but the money, which is absolutely disgusting. Thank you for saving Willow; she's absolutely wonderful.
what touching story...while i am not a dog lover/owner...i can respect the folks that are....but this is wonderful story to watch n god bless the folks who rescue these animals...
Amen to the two ladies how rescued the sweet little puppy 🐶! What a blessing you two are! What an amazing story that is! That is that sweetest thing I've ever heard ✨⭐️🎀🌸🌺🌹🌻☀️🌞💕😉😊❤️!
My first job after high school (LONG time ago) was as a vet's assistant. I assisted with a C-section on a boxer. 2 pups were fawn & white, 3rd was pure white - not "acceptable" by the AKC breed standard. So my boss, the vet, said "Oh he won't want THIS one" and dropped the white puppy in the waste basket in the surgery room and went to lunch. The minute he was gone, I went and told the receptionist what he'd done. She came running in, got the chilly pup out of the garbage, and together we rubbed and warmed him, then put him on the heating pad beside his siblings. When the vet came back 2 hrs later, he was MAD to find the white pup still alive, particularly since he'd told the hobby-breeder that there were only 2 pups, and the guy came in & saw 3. But it was true, the jerk didn't want the non-standard pure white boxer (not sellable), so the receptionist took him and raised him on a bottle. At the time I was 17, scared of authority figures, and had only been in the job a few months. Thankfully the receptionist had no fear of standing up to the boss. And I have evolved into a person who would now do the same as she did, without hesitation or fear. These breeders are mostly jerks and few of them actually love dogs. They are in love with their own egos. I go to a big off-leash park every day now with my mix-breed, and constantly meet purebreds with all kinds of genetic flaws. Few of these jerks understand the results of excessive in-breeding.
+TamLinAuthor Thank you for sharing your story from first hand experience. We need more people like you who are willing to stand up for what you believe in. Bravo.
+PAWsitive Thank YOU for sharing this inspiring video about the best kind of humans, the ones who will do whatever it takes, to rescue an innocent victim of stupidity and selfishness, and give her a chance for a full, happy life!
TamLinAuthor I just had to looks this up cos I needed to know why a pup would be just tossed out. White boxers are prone to deafness and if they're used as breeding it will likely effect their offspring. 🙁
Yes, I knew that then, even at 17 I understood that the client was interested only in "show quality" puppies. It in no way justifies dropping a live newborn puppy in a wastebasket. Even back then, we had something called castration which could always be used to prevent unwanted characteristics from being passed on. Anyway, the puppy had a happy life with the receptionist. As he was growing up, she used to bring him to work sometimes,
stories like this melt my heart. I am so grateful for people who are willing to do this for animals. I hope to one day rescue a dog who needs help and give them a loving forever home
It is really heartwarming and uplifting to witness such care and compassion being shown to a pet dog..A Puppy. It would be really arrogant of me, to thankyou for helping Willow survive. But!!!!! But your group of carers, have saved a condemned puppy, from a certain death. Obviously this goes on daily, in every country around this world, it is really to horrible to contemplate these poor animals fates. I read years ago, that a "Society is Judged, not by how we treat each other, but by How We Treat Animals"....Our Animals. Thankyou for showing such a wonderful video, it really has made my day. Sincerely, M.
+Mark Law I agree with you. I hope that more and more people start to 'think' if they want to get a dog, where to get it. There are more and better options than going to a breeder to get a 'perfect' dog.
PAWsitive Are you quoting? Because, that seems like an uncharacteristic thing to say from a dog lover/breeder. If they actually did say that I would guess it was a bluff and smart strategy to get the dog adopted, or you are misquoting and click-bated for views.
+Matt Appleton First of all, they have no reason to lie. It is common for breeders to discard (literally throw away in the trash, still ALIVE) or brutally kill puppies who have some defect, however minor. Secondly, let me disabuse you of your misguided opinions on breeders. They are NOT dog lovers. They are strictly in it for the money. They repeatedly breed females as fast as they can, without regard to the health of a mother dog, until the animal is so tapped of energy and physical resources they can't breed anymore. In fact, they can barely stand up. When that happens, if they are a "nice" breeder, they will take the now unwanted dog and dump it in some abandoned area to fend for itself, which it has no idea how to do, because it has been raised in a tiny cage all it's life. Usually, they starved to death or are preyed upon by larger, stronger dogs, coyotes or get hit by vehicles. The not-so-nice breeders will club the dog to death, strangle it with wire or perhaps just leave it in it's cage with no food/water until it dies. Then they throw it in the trash. Do a little research into breeders and puppy mills right here on RUclips. There is plenty of material and, I guarantee, you will be sickened by what you see, if you have any heart at all. IMHO, breeders and puppy mill operators are the scum of the earth. DON"T BUY, ADOPTED! Put the breeders and puppy mills out of business!
My uncles dog used to be mine. She was the runt of the litter and my mom got her. My mom had to bottle-feed her and when she was about a year (maybe a lil younger than that) we had to give her to my uncle. She is now a full grown adult dog and I get to see her all the time. It's amazing how a runt, the dog that nobody wanted is now a beautiful full grown adult with the energy of a puppy.
I have a mastiff 💞 I couldn't be happier :)
She's an Italian Mastiff
May God Bless You💖
Sophie from the Moon eres Bonita good for you and the dog
I only hope you didn't engage a breeder for your mastiff when they are available @ shelters.
Oh praise the lord that she's healthy and able to play like normal puppies
Thank you for rescuing this pup. To many of us they are our children!

You are right. She is HUGE! And a handful.
This dog is gorgeous, and this is coming from someone who has a good looking dog that I also rescued him no one wanted him and now everyone wants him
Kill previous owners
God bless you for your love and patience.
How do you just throw away a puppy? How can people be so heartless? :(
dimmkah money. That's what. Clearly this breeder only has this job for the sake of profit >:(

+La Bella I interviewed Jennifer of 2nd Chances Rescue and she told me on-camera that Willow was about to be thrown out. Hence, the urgency.
+La Bella Breeding is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting. There is something wrong with people who do this.
+La Bella I agree with breeding for the purpose of keeping the best bloodlines of a breed going. Which involves what you are writing about. you know this therapy could be adapted to humans
This therapy process originated from human use to animals. :)
PAWsitive really I didn't know that
Honestly, we didn't know that either until we filmed these episodes.
PAWsitive could you explain what exactly this dog was suffering from I work with the disabled community and I am always trying to learn more about treatments for people with dibilitating conditions

when i retire from the military openning a dog resecue is in my list.. thanks for the good work guys
Thank you for not throwing her away too.
+Kimberly Lyons I second your words.

Thank you much for rescuing this precious baby...Two Sweethearts!
bet just bet once the breeder saw the puppy doing great she wanted it back
lol i thought the exact same thing
I think that too... and than make money with this wonderful dog... Somebody like that breeder should loose his license
you dont need a license to breed puppies en sell them in the netherlands you can just breed pups en sell them via a marketplace or something
Not really. A dog with a genetic defect isn't all that great in a breeder's eyes. He wouldn't even be able to sell that dog for the same amount of money he sold all the others. As harsh as that sounds, it's reality.
+Anna Alētheia true he wouldn't want it
what a beauty ! thank you for your kindness
Thank you for rescuing this sweet baby and for the patience you had with her rehab. What a blessing lovable gentle giant.
i cried watching this, but got tears on my homework... now i cant read my writing...

This "breeder" doesn't sound like a legit breeder at all. They sound something of a backyard or vanity breeder, someone who isn't in it for the breed itself but the money, which is absolutely disgusting. Thank you for saving Willow; she's absolutely wonderful.
You ladies are so amazing.. She is beautiful.. I don't see how anyone would throw a puppy away.. God bless you
what touching story...while i am not a dog lover/owner...i can respect the folks that are....but this is wonderful story to watch n god bless the folks who rescue these animals...
How could you want to through out a puppy
Or any animal
The breeder wants to make money. If the breeder had paid to get this dog well s/he would have lost money. They don't care about anything else.
Clara P because they're a disgrace. money is all they care about. I bet they never take there dogs or puppies to a vet.
Because money is more important than life to people like them. Now imagine a person doing that to other people cause it happens a lot.
like dumpster babies
Amen to the two ladies how rescued the sweet little puppy 🐶! What a blessing you two are! What an amazing story that is! That is that sweetest thing I've ever heard ✨⭐️🎀🌸🌺🌹🌻☀️🌞💕😉😊❤️!
This is just beautiful. There is nothing people won't do for others. This warms my heart entirely.

Nothing more rewarding than taking a dog that nobody wants and turning him to a dog that everybody wants... So true! :)
I've never heard of this issue before. We must make people aware.
+Covert_K9 Please help us spread the word.
+PAWsitive I'd love to help. This is an inspiring story. If even just one more life is saved, it is a victory.
Raghavendra a.g I don't understand what you mean by your question
+D Deas He means would they do the same thing for a pitbull
Cindy Wylde the dog in the video is a pitbull so that question makes absolutely no sense
Omg this has made me soooo happy!!! Thankyou for showing us that there is people in the world that still have a heart!!! 💖💖

well I'm just happy the dog got a good home and is doing well instead of getting thrown out like trash:)
What a beautiful mastiff, and beautiful souls that saved her.
What a absolutely beautiful person you are.
wow this is amazing! it must have taken some real specialist knowledge to 'stimulate' her spinal cord and to restore full function
Yeah in one of the photos, it looked like they were putting staples/implants alone her spine. She's a beautiful puppy!
Most adorable puppy ever... God bless you for everything you did for this dog.
Goodness that dog is gorgeous!
That was a great rescue story. If mojo makes a top ten this one should be on it.

+Mark Law I agree with you. I hope that more and more people start to 'think' if they want to get a dog, where to get it. There are more and better options than going to a breeder to get a 'perfect' dog.
Willow - what a beautiful little puppy - thank god there are people watching out for this sort of animal cruelty
Aww she's sooooooo beautiful!! 😍😍😍😍
what an adorable puppy!!!
beautiful pup!!!!
Soo sweet of you people

Omg she's so beautiful !!!! 💖💖💖💖
how did lady advertise,,, im gonna throw dog away ?
Supposedly, the owner posted it on Facebook and it was repeatedly shared until the rescue saw it.
PAWsitive Are you quoting? Because, that seems like an uncharacteristic thing to say from a dog lover/breeder. If they actually did say that I would guess it was a bluff and smart strategy to get the dog adopted, or you are misquoting and click-bated for views.
Yes, this is a quote. We do not click bait. But, in all honesty, the breeder would have euthanized Willow, rather than throw her away like trash.
***** that sounds horrific!
I agree what you say. Bow to you for your work. My mother does a similar job and the feeling of rescuing a life is amazing.
I'd adopt her no questions asked. She's adorable.
I'm so glad RUclips recommendations sometimes works... this was an instant SUB! :,)
