You might need to adjust the idle down a little that's all I had to do on mine

Hello "thebug", I find your videos informative. Cruioius if you've encountered a 3.3 traxxas engine (stock) that stops running immediately after glow warmer/igniter is removed?

Hey man Thank you for the kind words I appreciate it! and welcome to the channel also if the engine stalls immediately after removing the glow ignitor it's time for a new plug I will suggest an OS LC3 glow plug the best you can get! and Sonic tronics 2.5 glow igniter will never let you down. Also be sure to check for any fuel or exhaust system leaks. Very important. Ps Traxxas plugs are low quality and don't last very long. You will notice much better tuning stability with the os lc3 glow plug. 😎🍻

Words of warning with the hot racing 3 shoe clutch bro.. the holding/clamping power is same as stock 2 shoe or a lil better, the shoes are a soft 50 series aluminum (they smear as they wear making a mess u best clean out while its warm or its hard to get out, and wear out FAST especially when paired to a high powered or any modded engine) and it's best used in a lightweight model (like say a nitro slash, rustler, stampede maybe, and jato.. DO NOT use it in a t maxx or a revo)... for example I had one in my revo 3.3 (with a modded os 21tm and ercm pipe running Bones Brew 30% nitro 10% oil on stock talon 5.75 inch tires I think or badlands mx38 tires with a robinson racing hardened steel 38 tooth spur gear slipper upgrade kit, 1.1mm kyosho clutch springs on the clutchbell side [hot racing comes with 0.80mm uses long tail style] and traxxas 14 tooth clutchbell.. it ran like a champ popping angry wheelies BUT half gallon later I am going down the road flat out engine starts revving to the moon higher than ever I stop it and heard it groan and grind then the engine died.. the shoes wore so bad it exploded borh the J&T 1/8 scale clutchbell bearings, half the clutchbell with teeth were gone, and the shoes more than completely worn out almost lost rhe springs too! Thought I messed up the crank on my OS 21TM as I worried it got a pebble in the gear mesh heard thst can bend the crank when running steel spur and clutchbell.. spur gear never got hurt and all is well now running robinson racing 15 tooth hardened clutchbell, same spur gear, new bearings, shimmed up perfectly, the crank never got hurt, and running an M2C Racing 36mm 3 shoe clutch uses factory and robinson racing clutchbells and the shoes are 7075 aluminum at rn a gallon in on 0.95mm springs on the clutch and not one issue at all with a stronger clutch with more holding power

I'm not using the 3 shoe I'm using the regular 2 shoes set up I hate the aluminum ones they slip and don't last very long

@@zackjay71 Those were a great clutch set up back in the day too bad they aren't made anymore but I do plan on going with MIP axles as these cheap China ones have done OK so far but are starting to show their age after a gallon of use. The Trinity 2 shoe flywheel has been absolutely awesome so far! The Hot racing 2 shoe is about the same weight and same color so it should perform basically the same.

@@thebug4046 Ebay has new old stock Clutch kits for about $25 But not sure for Canada. Since they are new. The last set I bought a few months back work great. They weren’t degraded or glazed. Like I was worried about.
