I know! It’s one of the great tragedy all of their concerts were basically identical in most cases. I always thought they should have done like the dead and played EVERYTHING.
This song never fails to open my heart and then deeply profound emotions flood forth... let me just briefly say, there are extreme meaning to the song lyrics that translate in my personal life... this is definitely my favorite song. I am TOTALLY blown away that this song is now finally being sung in concert by the ultimate songwriter and musician!
When I was a student a Michigan State in the early 90s and Every good boy, had become my favorite Moody album, it broke my heart when they didn’t play this and most of the other songs from every good boy in concert, when they went to East Lansing. Chicago opened for them, imagine that!
wow , one of my favorites songs, !! this is such an accurate version especially the electric guitar riffs!! its interesting that Justin says he went back cause he never understood some of the songs.I think I understood this song as soon as i heard it , as to loss , and never going back, although my losses came much later, but i knew they would come.
Total goosebumps as this song began, first in York; then again in Sellersville. What an absolute treat this song was. Thanks for sharing your great video, Maggie!
Thank you so much, Maggie. This is perhaps my favorite song, a song that has meant a lot to me since I was a kid. I am pretty blue that I am missing the chance to see it this tour. I appreciate that you caught a lot of Justin's story, too. Thank you for shooting and posting it.
nancy dinardo So far, I only have tickets for the first show, but I hope that I can manage to schedule a few more in. It would be great to see you again!

Mom2Muses Great! See you in Worcester then! :)
I get to see him in a week. Every Good Boy Deserves Favour is my favorite album ever and this song is my second favorite after The Story In Your Eyes.
Thanks, Maggie! I was at the York show the night before the Sellersville show. It was amazing.
Thank you for this. Looking forward to hearing Justin play this in the UK in 2015
No one took much notice? Oh we noticed Justin!
Almost pains me to say it, but I dont think you would hear a better version of this song Live..
You could! With the band and better back up vocals!
It must be hard for Justin to talk about emotional dark times and then sing a song about his feelings. I guess this is how he processes his feelings.
He looks hot!
Great song!!! Anybody know what his tuning is???
This song is standard tuning.
