- For over 50 years the proud members of the Italian American St. Joseph Society have been marching through the streets of New Orleans in celebration of St. Joseph’s Day… and this incredible event might just be the BEST Italian American weekend in the nation (think Mardi Gras… but for Italian Americans).
So grab your fanciest red clothes, because the gang from Greetings From Italian America is back in the Big Easy, preparing the world’s largest bowl of Pasta con le Sarde, and taking our place in the long-awaited return of the Saint Joseph’s DayParade through the historic French Quarter of New Orleans, LA!
We never miss this special weekend of Italian American Pride, so if you can make it down to the Big Easy, make sure to stop and say “Ciao”! We promise, you’ll be part of a weekend you will NEVER forget!

Thank you for all of your hard work...Have you ever heard of the Little Italy Festival In Clinton, Indiana on Labor Day? Hopefully it’s still going on for 2023..It’s is supposedly the biggest one in the entire Midwest. They even hold a pageant where they crown a “Queen (and King) of the Grapes”! 🍇

Why isn't St.Josephs day a big deal in NYC the feast of St Gennaro is, don't get me wrong their a lot of Neapolitans in NYC but I'm thinking there's more Sicilians.
