I just bought the cube XL 40 and hooked up a sweet tea pedal for starters and sounds awesome especially when sustaining. I also hooked up my BOSS 80 foot board giving me an infinite multiple choices of sound effects and Looper for practicing lead licks by adding a Mic to it to increase sound out put I must say I have gotten many compliments on the sound, performance and the clean variations that it's capable of doing with a kick ass wawa pedal to.

I have to say.. He doesn't make this amp sound good at all... Not sure if its the tone or pickups, but mine at home (40xl) sounds far better.
