I think it's one of the most unique quirks in the My Hero universe(at least as far as I know. I don't read the manga).

Hello CloudyCrow i am not sure you understood when she said when all might saved her. let me explain she was the girl in the first my hero academia movie called two heroes in the beginning of the film all might had a flash back on when he met his united states friend David Shield. in the flash back the robber was about run over a car in traffic that was stars and stripes family and her younger sister and young all might come to save that event was 20 years ago. go check it out the movie to get what i mean. That little girl become inspired by all might and become stars and stripes i love how she calls all might "master" the amount of respect she has for him shows in this episode. who would have thought that little girl in the my hero academia first film was her that is crazy. soo beautiful ❤

Sorry I should've clarified. I started reading the manga back before the anime but I'm not caught up with it anymore. I stopped reading sometime in the middle of Season 5 and just stuck with the anime
