Why couldn’t they stay this wholesome? (I get the arc of separating characters and it was interestingly written(?) But now I feel as if it’s happening to EVERY character when it doesn’t have to.)
Because then how could all the bad things have happened? Jokes aside, I would have liked it much better if the reason Gou and Sotsu's bad arcs occurred because of a new villain. I don't hate the idea of Satoko becoming a witch and at least an antagonist but a full fledged villain who fully wants to straight up torture Rika just to get her to comply with Satoko's vision for a happy future instead of her own? I'll pass.
