Although Tony Smith was raised in church, he admits that when his mother passed away in 1995, he hated God.
Not many years after the death of his mom, Tony's wife Cindy began to stay consistently on her knees as she prayed for her husband's salvation. Finally, a sports obsession put Tony in a volunteer coaching position at Shiloh Baptist Church in Jasper County, Ga. Tony began to ask questions and study the idea of Christianity. Even though he spent another period of time rejecting the offer of Jesus' grace, He was working on Tony's heart the entire time. One morning at church in 2014, Tony surrendered his life to Jesus.
Today, even though Tony doesn't hunt or fish, he is passionate about serving alongside Cindy in 30-30 Ministries as just one avenue that allows them to serve Jesus together.
