      yeah, someone else pointed that out in a comment below.not something i normally forget but it can happen...that duel was super long because the opponent was spending a ton of time thinking to do that scuffed halq combo in their turn. i was slightly annoyed by that point honestly, hahah.

    Just started watching your channel after adventure came out and I really like all your guides on it so far! I especially appreciate you letting us know your replays are in Diamond because I've seen so many replays where the YTer won't say but they're going up against someone who just T sets lol. It can be decent content but isn't gonna help me climb into Diamond, so yours are greatly appreciated 👍

    9:41 You didn't need to Called by the Grave the Ash Blossom. The opponent had Called your Ash on their previous turn (8:15):, and Called by the Grave negates all cards with the same name until the End Phase of the next turn. Most people forget that part of the effect. For the sake of recording, it was probably the right move though because I've seen and done a fair share of shame scoops when that happens.

    • @ItachiYGO
      @ItachiYGO  2 года назад +3

      yeah..two other comments pointed this out before. i dont normally forget called by's lingering effect. that duel was abnormally long because the opponent was taking a lot of time thinking in his first turn. by the time it got to that point i was a bit out of it to be honest. (not that i mind people taking theit time of course, especially if its a deck just added to the game).

  • @MariusDSchiller

    Cool guide! I'm curious, does the Barricadeborg ever come up outside the tomahawk line? Cuz if not, you can easily cut it, by simply summoning tomahawk in the main monster zone instead of the emz (since barricadeborg is essentially just there to remove a token. By summoning Tomahawk in the mmz, you get one fewer token). Seems to me like that extra slot could be better used for something like a second Baxia or a Draco Berserker

    • @ItachiYGO
      @ItachiYGO  2 года назад +1

      The reason barricadeborg is in there is to allow you to go into auroradon for cases where your halq gets negated and you still have 2 non machine guys leftover. which does happen sometimes.
      i got used to going through borg first when making tomahawk because borg becomes useless after this play, so i might as well put an extra guy in the grave to remove for protos in case i need to summon it again or something...you could also find rare weird cases where you might want to have borg in the extra (like if you need to get rid of a lava golem thats about to burn you to death next turn). but really 99.9% of the time it'll make no difference.

      They're listed at the bottom soon after they start playing in the duels. in order:
      Temple of the Kings - Ys VIII Lacrimosa of Dana
      Thunder Deck - Team Sonic Racing
      Carmine - Atelier Iris 2
      Nerfertiti - Atelier Meruru
      the song at the start before the duels start is Kiryu's theme from Yugioh 5ds.

  • @jamo1774

    During the galaxy line, barricade is unnecessary. U can just summon tomahawk in the main monster zone which will give u the same result. Also while the option to make chengying in that line is there, imo it is better to end on chaofeng and herald.

    • @ItachiYGO
      @ItachiYGO  2 года назад +3

      As i mentioned towards the end of the combo, The chengying line also ends on chaofeng as long as you have any spare spell/trap to set and destroy with baxia. so i chose to show that one.
      I tend ot go through borg first in those cases just to put an extra card in grave to banish for protos, as borg becomes useless after you go through that combo 99% of the time. but people have indeed pointed out that it could be better to save it in extra for very specific scenarios just in case.

    • @jamo1774
      @jamo1774 2 года назад +1

      @@ItachiYGO u could do that if u have an extra card to pop yes, but what I mean is without any extra card to pop, what would be better is to end on herald and chaofeng over chengying and baxia.
      And barricade for an extra banish material for Protos is fair I guess. But yea just saying that u don't have to do this to enable the play. I used to run barricade but it's so situational to use so I eventually just cut it for another baxia. 2nd don could also replace it too.

  • @nek0cat

    now i know why combo stop with 3 boss only

  • @3arooshy465
    @3arooshy465 2 года назад +1

    hey man great content! however at 6:36 it’s pointless to summon blocker since you can just simply summon the xyz monster at the main monster zone, and save the blocker for another situational combo

    • @ItachiYGO
      @ItachiYGO  2 года назад +1

      the reason i tend to summon blocker is because it becomes generally useless after this turn so might as well put another card in grave to banish for protos.
      but i suppose you could find extremely rare scenarios where you'd want the blocker in the extra deck after this combo...like..the opponent breaks your board then you're somehow about to die to a lava golem many turns later.

    • @3arooshy465
      @3arooshy465 2 года назад +1

      @@ItachiYGO you’re right, but after watching Dkayds meta weekly the opponent had to summon blocker and actually managed to win too, that’s why i feel like having it in the ex deck still good

  • @aliveisuppose
    @aliveisuppose 2 года назад +4

    When they ashed your fateful search in the mirror, you didn't need to use called by the grave, as ash's effect was already negated from turn 1

    Should i rly run protos (dark) on my deck?
    To be honest, everytime i make a protos i feel like i'll lose, since the only engine that it stops is the dpe's, and dpes are weak in this meta

    • @ItachiYGO
      @ItachiYGO  2 года назад

      you can run blackout instead if you want. generally speaking when your combo goes through youre gonna win anyways if you're using the proper lines. protos is good to hinder some plays in the adventurer decks. preventing yazi or vishuda from being summoned when they go second can be very good for example.
      but mainly i prefer protos because its also a decent card for going second. Blackout is pretty much a total brick in those cases. like in that last duel, if that was a blackout instead of protos i probably lose.
      if you do run the blackout, you can take out emergence for something else.

    Hate these "combos". This is what ruined the game for me. It is clear that Halq AND Auroradon need both to be banned ASAP. Sorry dude, but it is no fun to play Solitaire by yourself and have your opponent scoop as soon as you finish your board while having them wait for 10 minutes straight.
