Absolutely loved this climb when I did it (three times, not all in the same day 😂) in April - great views, nice switchbacks, and wasn’t as warm as 28c. Oh and the food at Cycling Planet was ace too. The Cavendish 😋
For the descent going past Lluc and into Pollenca is way nicer. Of course it depends on where your Homebase is but starting from and going back to Alcudia this is the way to go 😊.
I guess it’s all personal preference right, I live on the Santa Maria side so I often do a loop that heads along the side of the mountain and ride up and climb up from Pollença. It’s a long and cool decent but not a crazy amount of variety, just speed is the top factor. Those beautiful switch backs before Caimari are 👌
Looking forward to visiting the island soon! Although I think I'll wait for these temperatures to drop a bit 🥵. Nice video, btw. Super cool tips and advices 🙌🏽
Hey, Thanks for commenting and glad you enjoyed the video! I am defiantly not complaining at people driving, especially to work, Im just mentioning it so that people are clear there is traffic, This road in particular leads to all the tourist view spots in the mountains, so a majority of them are hire cars. Locals definitely take the highway or other road up the back that is more efficient :)
