@ if the original video was jittery, the RUclips image stabilization tool will distort the video that way (others may also). I used the tool on this video, ruclips.net/video/dy54vFTvolA/видео.html , you can really see the distortion in the first few seconds.
I would be really nervous racing at a track that doesn't throw a yellow flag with a kart stopped directly in front of the flagman. It's pretty basic safety to NOT have speeding and still RACING karts going 50 mph or so past a kart stopped on track. THAT was insanely risky.
Is there any place for a guy 6’4” and 270 lbs in this kind of racing? My dad raced karts is the 50’s and Ive always wanted to try it but I’m sort of uh larger than him.

You can do it on the cheap man. I just bought an older coyote chassis with a 2 alcohol briggs engines and a 6.5 predator, 7 or 8 sets of gears and some more extra parts for $450. Check out craigslist and facebook marketplace man.
I would say that 85 to 90% of drivers wear jeans in dirt track karts. A full racing suit really isn't necessary. Kart drivers are required to wear a Racing Jacket, Neck Brace, An approved Helmet, and Gloves.

The guy featured with race cam should really learn to drive better..he hit a few cars in first lap and lost 6 places!! He needs to keep the power on the dirt not in the side or back of another driver..., and then they dont even show the race winner????
learn to be smoother on throttle..pumping like that in corners is bad...as you progress to bigger and more powerful cars the throttle pumping upsets car..be smoother with steering wheel. try and drive car as if you were on asphalt ..smooth in smooth out..the less you turn to right in corner the faster you will go not trying to be a dick..carts are a blast 35 yrs racing carts to sprintcars, smallblock modified, midgets at william grove...
