According to wener's ( warners) the primary valency are satisfied by negative ions and the secondary valency are satisfied by netural or negative ions or ( sometimes by cationic species - discovered later )
23:39 u told us than if only there is a negative sign in the Coordination sphere then it will end with the suffix "ate" but in the second given compound it has positive sign and u have given it us nitrate. If i am wrong please correct me
Small correction, We have to add suffix with 'ate' when the whole compound is negative but not only if the coordination sphere is negative. Here the whole compound is neutral, so there is no need of adding suffix and also the name itself is a nitrate and thus the name is written nitrate. This is my understanding. Correct me if I am wrong.
