I just ordered this today and I can not wait to get it. I am obssessed with it. I got the big taste Juicy palette when it came out and I love i. There is nothing better than the smell of tarte eyeshadows.
There’s two versions of the Juicy palette that Tarte came out with. The one I have, use, and reviewed is no longer available. It had 20 shades and was huge, also retailed closer to $50. The one on Ulta/Tarte/Sephora currently is a condensed version with 12 shades and is much smaller. Ulta needs to update their info on their page for it, because some of the photos that are up for it are for the original 20 shade version. Hope that helps!

I loved the In Bloom when I bought it in 2017/2018 and used it every day for a solid year. As Im sure anyone that loves- and is addicted to- buying palettes will tell you; that was something special to me. I really want to buy this palette. But its limited edition, which I have 2 other LE palettes, and it would be my most expednsive palette Ive bought. Im just really on the fence about this video.
I of course LOVE makeup but I don’t view everything as a need so definitely don’t feel pressured to buy! I know for me I typically just “know” when I really want something and will truly use it v. if I just admire it but maybe it’s not at the top of my list (if that makes sense). It’s funny though, because I’ve had the In Bloom Palette as well for a few years but it’s not at all a palette a regularly use! I like to have more gold/pink/rosey tones so I think that’s why I’m so drawn to this one 🥰

Sorry to hear that! I share an overview of the palette, swatched the entire thing to show each shade and capture the variating formulas, and shared two different shadow looks all in this video. I personally don’t see the value add in going over each individual color of a 20+ pan palette in any more detail than I did in this video with the swatching clips (it’s just not something I would watch and would be time consuming for viewers who aren’t looking for that level of detail) however I appreciate your opinion!
I have been thinking about getting this palette. I bought myself the last big Juicy palette they came out with and I honestly some reach for it as much as I hoped I would. Have you found yourself truly reaching for this palette again and again? What are your thoughts on the palette now? Also great video.
Aww really?! See I use the juicy palette allllllll the time! I find myself grabbing for that one just a tad more than this only because it has a good variety of soft transition shades which I really love! I do use this quite a bit but not everyday by any means. Also thank you so much!!!
For the swatches, it would be best to show the 4 at a time, describing the texture and finish of each shadow. Rather than all at once with no real indication of which shadow is which. Names would be nice, but not totally necessary if showing and talking about each shade. Otherwise, great video and I can’t wait to play with this palette!
While I can appreciate the level of detail that some accounts may put into swatching, it’s not my niche or area of focus with videos like this. It’s certainly something I’ll consider moving forward, but I personally don’t take the time to watch that intricate of swatching in a video and had I done that here, this would be going on 45+ mins which I don’t think my audience would sit through. I love Tarte's formula. I'll definitely be getting this palette and that beautiful blush . I get excited for their new releases. Neutrals are their wheelhouse but I don't even care. I'm basic too 🤷 🙄😂 The brushes look nice too. I've got quite a few. Brushes can be used for whatever. The blush brush can be used to blend the face or for bronzer or whatever.
I will not buy this palette. I do not use those kind of colours. But thank you for showing the colours clearly in the video so I will not make an awful decision to buy a wrong palette.
