Deepa Malik, the first Indian woman to win a medal at the paralympics, talks about how she faced death and got a second chance at life. She was declared a dead body by most people. But instead of feeling lost and shattered by what people said, Deepa decided to fight back. She started her career at 30, when most athletes decide to retire.

Madam, you are my inspiration since 2013. I too had a spinal cord tumor and underwent 2 surgeries in 2013. I too went through all the difficult situations and struggled a lot and overcomed from it.
Now I am teaching Mathematics as a tutor and now my students have become the strength and boosters of my life ..
