For a good looking jacked rockstar who fronts two amazing bands and is also a firefighter Tommy is pretty shy and quiet. It's good he doesn't let his aweomness go to his head. This is an artist who we'll be enjoying for a long time to come. Not a standard rockstar who will let fame spiral them out of control

Yeah, he's a pretty down-to-earth dude. I remember friending and chatting with him on Facebook back shortly after he joined Kamelot, back when his page was still a personal page. We just talked about music, family, etc and I'm a complete stranger to him. He didn't have to even acknowledge me, but he did and it was awesome. I'll never forget that!

Tommy Karevik makes me a bit sick if I'm honest. Great singer, nice guy and I'm not gay but fucking hell he's good looking. Not jealous at all!

It's interesting how concept-albums are mentioned here, because with the newest one at this time, 'The Awakening', they also released an "earbook"-version of the album. - Now, I'm not entirely sure what that is, I think it comes with a book to read along with the music or something?... But yea, that's a thing, so they definitely try to release a lot of formats, CDs to vinyl records, back to cassette-tapes, which seems to be the current trend. Just "everything". - I wouldn't be surprised if they started releasing MiniDiscs again, which would be a LOT better than crappy cassette-tapes (but at least they keep the price relatively low), except that there might be relatively fewer players out there (while you can find many on the "used" market). It would also make more sense in the digital-realm, as you could connect them to computers more easily, and the portable players are extremely compact, probably the size of a foldable phone.
Anyway, it just seems like physical formats are not going anywhere. Perhaps the majority will just turn on their preferred streaming-platform, including myself, because it's more convenient, and physical releases are more for collecting/supporting/whatever, but production and sales are pretty much booming.

The fact that Tommy wrote Ravenlight is strange to me. The song is so unkarevikian.

7:14 - I think even Dimmu Borgir covered this: "The keys are in your hands. Realize you are your own sole creator of your own master plan." - Without getting too "we're stuck in the Matrix" about it like some Tate-follower, these artists really want to get the message out there to break free from the system/boundaries we're practically forced to live in.
