    I was kinda emotional while making the video and I can't help but admire this guy's determination after all he's been through. And yeah, makes me glad that the man himself, Qudans loved it and even watched it on his stream. Thank you guys for all the support in this channel. More power to Tekken! :)

    Playing a rare character, having a very long break from the game, having to raise money to get to the tournament and man he is such a humble man. Being able to beat top players with such consistency. Qudans is nothing short of a tekken legend. Please for the love of god get this man a sponsor already

    To all Tekken fans, online and offline players, casuals and pros, from Initiate to Tekken God, we are so lucky to live in these times and play Tekken 7, we're witnessing something that is going to be talked about for decades, a true history in the making for all of us. Tekken was never dead, but it was dormant for so many years, and now it's rising again.

    When I watched this on stream and I saw Qudans cry receiving the trophy I honestly cried with him. Every match was soo intense! Saint wrecked him in the winners final of the TWT but Qudans came back with friendly advice from Knee and beat him in the grand finals. It's was just amazing watching him play.

    As a spectator, the best thing that could happen for Tekken, did happen in Qudans winning. Had it been yet another Echo Fox final, I fear that a lot of the hype would've fizzled out and cooled peoples interest in the game.

    @pr0gressd 7 лет назад +41

    It's important to remember how close those games were which makes the victory even more special, if Qudans had to play them now I don't think he would win all sets. But his will in those moments to come back and be the best despite his tough circumstances, to stay calm and always try his very best no matter how rough the match looked. I think it was a victory of will and mind more than just "pure ingame skill" and that was his edge. His emotions is telling of how much it meant for him to win, truly inspirational.

      Sorry bitch in tekken 5 dr qudans exist but then appeared knee. Knee destroyed qudans over and over. Jdcr then was a kid everybody bodied him. Tier list in tkn 5 was Knee 200 won then qudans. Dont cheat the crowd. Anyway i admire both knee and qudans but dont lie the people.

      Ighacho sejas lol, you probably didn't watch videos from DR. Good Luck with Your knowledge. By the way swearing in the internet is nice, face to face not that much, right? You probably look like skinny 12 years old kid with nerd glasses who thinks he's an expert here.
      + Tier list is a list with characters from strongest to weakest (tournaments and online DMs), not a player ranking or amount of wins. So be quiet if it comes to Tekken

    • @Crisredfield24

      Of course i saw vids of knee against best players in tekken 5DR naokingu (law) tetsuo (lei) 200 won (ana) matadoryou (ganryu) borami (ling) 2nd main street ryu (heihachi) leedy mishimastar (kazuya) QUDANS n Jisamoon Ace (Devil jin) n all of them lost over and over against knee. I told you im a huge fan of qudans but kid i was doing waibus n snakedash with mishimas in ttt1 n resets n tech traps with ling in tekken 5 DR even before u born. Of cpyrse i saw gunsou cup n majors in korea tekken 5 dr tournaments. • @ojsojs6004
      @ojsojs6004 7 лет назад +2

      SamPlushyFive Both of them has a case to be GOAT at Tekken. What jdcr did in Tekken 7 is unprecedented. JDCR has reached 20 straight grand finals and in these tournament jdcr has beaten strong players. In 2016 jdcr also won 3 straight korean vsl titles. In Tekken 6 BR, jdcr is regarded by many as the best. Also jdcr is not even using his best character which is armor king. qudans has his dvj. also many player has beaten qudans at tekken 7 tournament. he also played many tekken 7 tournaments so it is not true that he come out from retirement.

    • @wynstar
      @wynstar 7 лет назад

      Taimoor Mubashir no need to call names, my friend. Besides, it's not dick riding when he's just stating facts. If we based it off the numbers of tournaments a player has won so far - JDCR would probably be the closest to GOAT. Also, if you really watched the whole video, Qudan actually came back in TTT2 but struggled to some less known players. It's not really necesarry to call someone GOAT just because they had an epic comeback after being away in the T series for so long.

    • @wynstar
      @wynstar 7 лет назад

      Taimoor Mubashir lol okay, bro. I got your point now. I don't really watch too much Tekken videos but from what I can see here, I think he didn't give Qudan's fair share of praises. I mean this video is all about him and he just talked a lot about JDCR and less for Qudan. But I think he really didn't watch the whole video since he didn't not mention Qudan beats JDCRS twice in a tournament which is already a great achievement for any Tekken players and JDCR is not really that well-known in T5DR which was dominated by Knee closely followed by Qudan(in my opinion). In my conclusion, he must just really like JDCR a lot or maybe he's sad that JDCR didn't even make it to semis of twt. Either way, have a nice day.

Just because i told that jdcr also has a case to be a goat is already hating to you?. And no qudans did not come out from retirement after 10 years. He played many tekken 7 fr tournaments in 2016 and 2017. Qudans also lost many tournaments in 2016 and 2017. Qudans also tried a comeback at TT2. Man even though I wasn't there in person watching this Live stream was amazing. As a person who loves playing Devil Jin I was rooting for Qudans the whole way and I was literally screaming like crazy in my room watching him win lol man Qudans is such a fucking legend. This is going to go down as one of the greatest Tekken tournament and win ever.

    I've met Qudans when he came to the USA in 2006 and he was so humble and down to earth compare to his aggressive playing style. He had really amazing sense when it comes to Devil Jin. His play is unique and not copyable from others if you know what I mean, after 11 years now you all can see Qudans' resurrection. I knew that he was a special genius from the first place, but Now he just proved that my belief was right.

    This is why TEKKEN has one of the best scene. When Harada himself presents the trophy to Qudans, it means way more than winning. Amazing journey from Qudans.
