Suggestion .. ;) built a little shed for your wood, it will keep it dry all year long. I have about 6 cords of those slab wood ( my neighbors have a saw mill ... ) and I just built myself a sauna last year. and let me tell you having all my house wood ( around 32 cords for 2 years and more ) don't you hate missing some firewood ;) ;) :) The wood is always dry and ready to use. And on top of that you have very nice slab wood wow !!!! ;)
You two are the most safety minded people I watch of the off grid RUclipsrs, so great job with that in mind. I like your new blue heeler pup, and it will be useful with keeping your goats in line down the road, perhaps even the bears will keep their distance.
You two are building one heck of a homestead, you should be proud! You are living, don't look back.
You look GREAT in whatever you wear, bikini included!!!!!
I just admire that you guys work so hard together. The results speak for themselves
Taking care of the scrap wood is an other step to paradise.Greetings from Germany
You guys are awesome for using up every bit of the wood that you mill!! Love you guys and hope that you have an awesome week. Also Katie, you rock no matter what you’re wearing my friend, don’t listen to the haters, they have no life, you’re beautiful. ❤️
So glad that you dropped by our channel! I don’t know what happened to our subscription, but we subscribed again.
BC has some fantastic land. Thanks for sharing.
Henry and Irene
Your Puppy is just Adorable .
So great to make use of all the scrap mill ends!!
Juniper is the cutest & doing great staying close by! Funny watching Hinto when you had Juniper on your lap on tractor… he’s like, hey, that’s my spot😂😂
He's slowly warming up to her 😅
What are your plans for the outside of the house?
Love your videos ❤️
Make a V cradle rack out of scrap lumber and space the gaps far enough apart to get your firewood length. And as you mill put your drops in it. When it gets full, Run your saw down the lengths and make firewood.
Slab rack cutting is a good search to find something.
I just looked at this video and thought you got a buddy for Juniper. I was amazed how similar the markings were. I finally saw the date and it was a puppy Juniper. Great job
You need a steering wheel knob on the tractor, makes it much easer to steer and use the front loader controls at the same time. I have one on my tractor.
Your show improves the quality of my life
That's a really nice comment ❣️
Your beginning quite the matter of the chain saw
I like Katie! Yup, big fan...
Just a friendly heads up, burning bark adds a ton more creosote to your stove pipe, so make sure to check it more often than you might feel you need to.
Vids are just getting better and better have an awesome week
Hard work! An ideea: drive 2 stakes into the ground, 2-3 m apart, stiffen them up with a board and nails, and place the firewood between the two stakes up to the top safely. you can protect them from the rain with a tarp
Alot of that wood could've been made into platters or pot holders for sale..js lol Alot of the split cuts looked good enough for the house wood, maybe just not seasoned. Love the new puppy, it'll grow up to be a great guardian dog. Love ya'll ❤️ as always, look forward to much more
if you put an old tire around the top of the stump you use to split firewood it will hold up the pieces while splitting
Katie looks amazing in a bathing suit. lucky grog
As a suggestion, if you stack the firewood in a criss cross pattern on both ends it'll prevent the wood from coming unstacked. A pillar íf you will.
Great video always love seeing the pet family
Nice Video, thank you! Love your Build! Slabs and labor make very good fire wood! Good fortune to you folks and your puppy and other animals! They are very entertaining! The coming Fall and Winter will be more comfortable because of your house Labor! Spring is always just around the corner! Ron PTL USA, next to B.C.
I have a suggestion for a chain sharpener for the chainsaw. I cut a lot of wood and trees. I use the Granberg Bar-Mount Chain Saw Sharpener. I think I spent $70 for it. It's super easy to set up and takes maybe two minutes to sharpen a 20" chain. It clamps right to the bar so it makes field sharpening simple. I then hit the leaders with a flat file and ready to go.
Maybe you could build a bin with front gate that drops off to dump and that straps to the front of tractor on the scoop that will easily load and unload more firewood. As is is not heavy but likely to drop a load one day.
Great fire wood 🪵 🔥 the pup got to get use to the tractor sound chainsaw and other noisy things Katie you are amazing ❤ Greg you are a bless man GOD BLESS you guys have a great day.
Juniper is so beautiful.
No bikini today But plenty of wood for binki in the future! 😂🤣 Guys! Girl!!! Vids are just getting better and better. Thank you both for giving me calm and relax after my day! 👍🏻👍🏻😎😎😎
Always happy to see you all and I always wish you sunny days!

Love this project and your good mood while working your socks off....The new puppy is just absolutely gorgeous....Live in Norway so I cant help you or visit you....NEVER surrender:)
Bonjour, je decouvre vos videos, je les trouve magnifique.
Juniper looks like the cartoon dog called 'Bluey' if you get a chance, RUclips it. She is gorgeous.
Train that Blue Healer puppy how to herd them goats.
I love Canadian women!
Juniper is a handsome dog
I love you Katie❤again!
Those goats. Crack me up
At the end the video was gorgeous with the beautiful sunshine and the wood being ready for your desire 🤗 very nice place 💫
I'm starting to get very jealous of watching your videos. You have a beautiful property, you're building a beautiful home, you have beautiful animals, and now insult to injury you have a beautiful little puppy. I don't know whether to hate you or love you guys but you know that I love you guys otherwise I wouldn't watch. Stay safe and God bless. Tony
My two favorite Canadians
When are you going to build a equipment barn so the tractors and motorcycle aren't left out in weather???
Why didn't I recognise my soul path at the farmhouse where my relatives live in Germany??
I could do all the things you guys do, there - together with my brother and other relatives as well. This was the plan - yet, I did not recognise this and I got confused with wrong information.
Let Juniper know about the tractor and to stay clear when you're running it not to be near it especially when your backing up
Looking wicked!
I remember when my dog would sit under the ladder and keep an eye on tools when I was roofing.
Slabwood is excellent firewood!
Awesome 👌
The winds of change from 0:00 to 0:23
Great job, bravo
Good job 👍
Awesome
About 10 years ago I bought a Harbor Freight chain saw sharpener. A $30 dollar investment that has paid off big time. Chains as sharp as factory every time. My 50 year old Stihl 031 cuts like new.
Cabin looking good
Looking good!....
Love your new pup!,
Boa tarde! Pra mim é uma honra esta aqui te prestigiando, vamos sempre juntos somar e fortalecer nossos trabalhos, eu já estou por aqui...
Hi Katie & Greg! Love the puppy!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Blessings
Love that new puppy
Doing a excellent job, when will you start on your siding?
Cute puppy also😊
well done
Cute pup
Good morning you guys how you guys known as today I have an idea but I don't know if it would work can you take some of the stuff out of the bus they use for your supplies and stuff like your sink and stuff and your stove then that way you won't have to worry about spending all that extra money but I think that would be a good idea use some of that stuff as your supplies so that way you can start saving money but I don't know you guys have a great day I just want to make sure you guys are okay suggestion but I don't know but I figured out what you need to do all right God bless you guys
HA....separation anxiety.....It all makes sense now. Best wishes guys
time index 4:30: brown dog wants to know "where is my treat?" lol...
looks like things are progressing very well there. always like to see progress.
once the mill area is all cleaned up, i wonder if it would be worth the effort to set up something to sort of stack the off cuts on in a way where they'd be easier to cut up later on? you could avoid a bunch of trip hazards that way and save doing all that bending over to cut it all up.
it might not bother you right now, but later on, your back is gonna feel it.....
i really do enjoy your videos.
keep on keepin' on my friends.
Thong next time thanks
When I see what you guys can do, I ask myself again and again, how come I did not know about my soul path at the farmhouse in Thuringia in Germany?? Together with my brother, I should have been there to built a Garden and - as you guys do as well - an off grid life (Selbstversorgung). I did not recognise this as my soul path, and I got completely confused in wrong interpretations!
All I want is there at the farmhouse in Thuringia where my relatives live!!!
You guys are doing good ,just wishe you were my neighbour and could help you from time to time with the oudoor work , love you life style cheers Robert (Australia)
She is so adorable 🐕. I wood stack for your hot tub. You should some t post on the ends so it doesn't fall down.
Hi when are you doing the outside off the house
Blues love to ride,, anything that moves! Just be careful,, she will chase and bite tires
10:24 🤣🤣
hi there cute little dog john
your comm😆ents
Love the off grin life! Also what type of dog is the small black and gray one?
Blue heeler
yes some us will said lol
All the sawdust can de composted
i was just thinking easier to bring logs to fire cut there handle one time
If your tractor has a pto ,look into a log splitter attachment for it.Much cheaper than a free standing unit.
We like chopping wood
👍
U can make yourselves a LOG SPLITTER, go to utube and utube will tell you how to make your homemade log SPLITTER..
What kind or breed is your puppy? So cute🐾♥️🐾
that pile of left over help make agood woodshed???
Were your trailer
Cedar shingles for the house outside cut from the mill? Most early settlers used this exclusively as the preferred exterior finish.
We are in a high risk fire area so we won't be doing any combustible materials
I see a log splitter in youralls future.
You can tell u love amanial s!!
Awwww no bikini was hoping you would convince Greg to wear one too lmbo
Greg and Katie, the video says a whole lot about what fine people you are. I too will miss the "Bikini" but not at your comfort. I do not watch it for that at all. It is your hearts and love for each other, the animals, the life I wish I too had. Now 73, bad health, a pretty girl does give a old man hope to live for yet wish you two absolutely the very best... was kinda hoping that the router designed panels might make a showing as Greg, your absolutely talented enough to make it work for you and get you inside this cabin or home should it be called by proper name. Its a home full of dreams and love. I had my chance and it was taken from me. Just knowing I have two canadian friends is all I ask for
👍👌
Nice puppy is she Australian Shepherd ?Good job your hand was not in it ...
Is that a KLR650 I see there, Greg?
Yes man, gen 3 . It's a dream
I have a question about snakes and spiders. Do you have any that are poisonous? Thanks
Blues are especially sookie they hate being alone
Where are U located ???
I'm sad, but I like your videos with or without the bikini. You guys have gotten so much work done on your house I can't even believe it. I don't know if either of you cook, but I would think you would be looking forward to a full kitchen.
Could of built a really nice wood rack with all that wood you cut down
