Is it possible for a tech blogger to sustain in SEO. Since you the article you post today will not be searched by anyone in few days. E.g smartphone review. Also the high authoritative websites are dominating in every keywords.
Great presentation. No bullshit, straight to the point. Just one question. How can some relatively small websites manage to get hundreds of thousands of backlinks? It would be impossible to build them manually. Do they buy them or what? Also, I see a tendency in websites that have thousands of backlinks that for every backlink, they get 1 visitor. So if a site has 500k backlinks, their monthly organic traffic is also somewhere in that area. Might be more than 500k, might be less. Does it mean they use really crap backlinks if every backlink generates only 1 visitor per month?
Each backlink is different and I am sure there is no correlation between number of backlinks and number of monthly organic visits. You might get some referring traffic if a linking page actually gets some traffic. In my experience, there is not much new websites out there with a relatively strong backlink profile. Of course, it depends on resources of the marketing team on how well they can perform in link building, but usually new websites will have a lack of links to their site. I can only think of some unique cases, where lots of public and social media shared some outstanding story on a fresh website, which leaded to numerous natural backlinks created by others to share that case with their audience. So, I guess in most cases everybody start small and depending on amount of time and efforts invested into this process, some backlink profiles will eventually improve and some will stay where they've started. There are some keywords that have Suggested videos section on SERP when searching Google. But I doubt you will get more organic traffic to your video or channel if you build some backlinks. This is sort of "it depends" question. How big is your site? How many people visit your site at the same time? What is the platform used for the website? How big is your database and how complex are queries that your website runs... If you are a blog owner, shared hosting will be more than enough, while Magento website will require a good VPS. Answering your questions. Hosting is partially reliable for your website's pagespeed. Low pagespeed will lead to poor experience for your visitors, which will lead to higher bounce rate and decreased dwell time. Additionally pagespeed is one of the ranking factors, so having a slow website will probably lead to poor rankings.

There are hundreds of factors that go into ranking a page, so I'd say no. Also, I do want to clarify that "URL Rating" isn't an exact replacement for PageRank. While we calculate URL Rating (UR) in a similar way to the original version of Google PageRank, it’s not the same. Nobody outside of Google knows how the PageRank formula has developed over the years. But we do know that URL Rating (UR) is comparable to the original Google PageRank formula in the following ways: - We count links between pages; - We respect the “nofollow” attribute; - We have a “damping factor”; - We crawl the web far and wide (which is a critical component when calculating an accurate link-based metric) -Sam

So page with low UR from a high DR domain will still have smaller chances to outrank high UR page from low DR domain. It is known that Google ranks pages, not domains. What exactly does it mean to "link" to a page? Does it mean that they have to have your page link/content tagged on their website? For example if I repost this video onto facebook, does your page now have facebook as a backlink?
The easiest way to explain is to use Wikipedia. When you're reading an article on Wikipedia, you'll see that there are tons of "blue highlighted" links that'll bring you to other pages. Those are links 🙂 - SQ

That happens when search engine is not sure what is a search intent, what is the thing that you look for. So search engine will "guess" to meet your intent, highlighting keywords that are not present on a page. I doubt there is anyway you can optimize your pages for that. Maybe these "suggestions" are based on tfidf, you will never know the truth =( - Max
