I just brought this today and my experience is that it's like a 50/50. The sound and style quailty is great and i don't need to worry about the wires being pull over when i move around. However, the only bad thing is that it doesn't have a earphone jack, so i will not be able to use this on devices that doesn't have bluetooth. But the product is great and expensive. If your a type of person who wants a free long wires, bluetooth, and sport earphone, well this product will be for you.

Ive recently bought a pair and you are absolutely right! Once you start to move around and sweating specially in the gym, theyre so hard to stay on and you loose the quality of the sound..I ultimately started using the memory foam tips that came with a 20 dollar pair I bought in the past and that really helped me..dont use the rubber tips and get memory foam instead..I do regret buying them but too late to return them now..

I put some Comply Foam tips on my Powerbeats 2's and the sound was AWESOME. So far, these are the only headphones I've found that can survive heavy sweating.
I have a lot of trouble using ear buds and the only ones that stay in my ear are the white apple earbuds. The problem is that after about 30 minutes my ear is sore from wearing the hard plastic earbuds. I listen to music on the go quite often so I decided to purchase the jaybirds bluebuds x and the powerbeats 2 so I could compare them together. My review of the two: Jaybirds: After fidgeting with the jaybirds over an hour (twice) I could not keep them in properly. The sound is better but if they won't stay in it doesn't matter. I could not get a consistent tight seal without much struggle only to lose the seal after a couple of minutes. And yes, I tried all different bud sizes and under and over the hear. That said, the sound is superior to the Powerbeats 2 if you can get them to stay in properly. Powerbeats 2: Immediately, I noticed they are super comfortable and the bass its what you would expect from Beats. My only concern is that the highs (treble) are a bit muffled or drown in the bass. I noticed that if you tighten the strap on the back of your neck it improves the seal and sound quality a little bit. The overall sound is not bad whatsoever unless you hate bass. Conclusion: I'm keeping the powerbeats 2. There is nothing worse than struggling with a set of earbuds while you try to listen to your favorite music. Powerbeats 2 sound quality is not the best all around but given I don't want to purchase over the ear headset this is the best compromise for me. I also listen to music that tends to be high on bass so highs are not as important. I'm excited to have a new set or wireless earbuds due to convenience and compact size. I will be returning my jaybirds. I hope this helps anyone debating what to purchase.

I've had these since Aug and love the sound the only problem I have with them is!!!!! An audio sync issue when I play videos on my apple products...! No problem on my laptop or surface just Specific to my Apple iPhone and iPad...! Others have reported the same issue
These are basically made for Working out. Jaybird X's has a natural sound that you can hear every part of the instruments just the default sound of the music of how it was recorded. Whereas PowerBeats 2 or 3, has that extra boosted bass or that kick it would give you Goosebump and a very loud sound. If you prefer sound quality or to literally hear every part of the music, go with Jaybird X2 or X3, but if you only want to Enjoy the music with nice bass, then go with Powerbeats 2 or 3! I personally own Both ;) haha

They don't sound so amazing but the audio is very clear. The fit is amazing for me, as soon as I put them on I didn't even have try the additional buds. So I bought these Powerbeats 2 a couple a months ago and after using them frequently I'd say they're good. They're not great or amazing or the must have wireless headphone but they are good. Alright so I just got these on Black Friday and I couldn't be happier. I was curious to see what other people had reviewed about these headphones. For these headphones, i guess the person in the video who reviewed it did not know that you can bend the whole ear piece so that it will fit your ear without falling out. I test out my products well so i did some cartwheels around my apartment and they did not fall out. Call me crazy but these headphones are amazing to say the least!

Good review definitely helped before my purchase got mine from ebay new for 172 shipped. Mine never came off even played basketball with them on. It was a great fit for me never came loose rebounds, cuts, jumpshots you name it. But I guess like you've said it'll all depend on ear shape. More power to you.

People keep in mind that the different earbud heads produce different sounds because of the way sound travels. the sizing isnt just for security of fit
Well I decided to pair the powerbeats2 to my iPhone 4s and man compared to having them paired to my Nano 7th gen the power and volume is significantly much better. As much as I like these paired with the nano these really come to life with the iPhone 4s. What sucks is I will probably be using my heavier clunkier iPhone at the gym now instead as I like my music loud and powerful and the powerbeats2 paired with the iPhone 4s deliver in every way. I am just guessing that the Nano 7th gen has a weaker Bluetooth? Either way I am even more blown away with these Powerbeats2.
Your not the only one with the ear problem UAC! I have that problem too! For some reason ear buds with apple shape or just apple earbuds in general would always fall out my ear or not go in enough to get good quality sound. That's why I would get like earbuds that have like Samsung shaped types. So these headphones definitely wouldn't be that great for me. Glad I got the jaybirds. I buy tons and tons of different types of earbuds. I also struggled with the powerbeats fitting my ears. But if you find the right ear tips you should be good!
I bought these and use them daily, you can reshape the ear hooks! you just have to bend them like the first version, I do it constantly looking for that right fit
hey ***** would you be willing to try some comply foam eartips? their so pillowy soft and they honestly fit everyone (cause it expands, like they use a heat activated foam) super comfortable, i can honestly wear them for hours (even days if i really wanted) no irritation what so ever and isolates so well! you just need to look up which pairs work with the powerbeats (its probably the same as the old powerbeats model so your safe there)

Just bought a pair from best buy yesterday. They're pretty good but they might go back. The wireless connectivity with my s6 edge can be weird sometimes only giving me up to about 10 feet away from my phone.

I recently had Polk in ear and the sound was great BUT they keep slipping out when I started to seat. @ the present time I have Bose in ear, sound sucks compared to Polk but they don't fall out @ all! Im looking to buy another pair of earphones and you just helped me decide between Powerbeats 2 and Tour2. I think Tour2 will be next.

For these headphones, i guess the person in the video who reviewed it did not know that you can bend the whole ear piece so that it will fit your ear without falling out. I test out my products well so i did some cartwheels around my apartment and they did not fall out. Call me crazy but these headphones are amazing to say the least!

I just got mine yesterday and I like how they work but like my connection is that great but overall I like the way they fit my ear. I don't have big ears so I got the medium size tips and they fit great

Good review definitely helped before my purchase got mine from ebay new for 172 shipped. Mine never came off even played basketball with them on. It was a great fit for me never came loose rebounds, cuts, jumpshots you name it. But I guess like you've said it'll all depend on ear shape. More power to you.

People keep in mind that the different earbud heads produce different sounds because of the way sound travels. the sizing isnt just for security of fit

Well I decided to pair the powerbeats2 to my iPhone 4s and man compared to having them paired to my Nano 7th gen the power and volume is significantly much better. As much as I like these paired with the nano these really come to life with the iPhone 4s. What sucks is I will probably be using my heavier clunkier iPhone at the gym now instead as I like my music loud and powerful and the powerbeats2 paired with the iPhone 4s deliver in every way.
I am just guessing that the Nano 7th gen has a weaker Bluetooth?
Either way I am even more blown away with these Powerbeats2.
Your not the only one with the ear problem UAC! I have that problem too! For some reason ear buds with apple shape or just apple earbuds in general would always fall out my ear or not go in enough to get good quality sound. That's why I would get like earbuds that have like Samsung shaped types. So these headphones definitely wouldn't be that great for me. Glad I got the jaybirds. Still use them like crazy at work and they still sound amazing.

I mostly do fitness and also Crossfit and I am looking not only for better sound quality but for comfort. The thing about the shape of the ears you mentioned, I dont believe that it will be a drawback for me. Shout out from Bulgaria. Keep up the good work!

I buy tons and tons of different types of earbuds. I also struggled with the powerbeats fitting my ears. But if you find the right ear tips you should be good!
I bought these and use them daily, you can reshape the ear hooks! you just have to bend them like the first version, I do it constantly looking for that right fit
hey ***** would you be willing to try some comply foam eartips? their so pillowy soft and they honestly fit everyone (cause it expands, like they use a heat activated foam) super comfortable, i can honestly wear them for hours (even days if i really wanted) no irritation what so ever and isolates so well! you just need to look up which pairs work with the powerbeats (its probably the same as the old powerbeats model so your safe there)

Just bought a pair from best buy yesterday. They're pretty good but they might go back. The wireless connectivity with my s6 edge can be weird sometimes only giving me up to about 10 feet away from my phone.
Can you do a unboxing/review on the plantronics backbeat go 2. They are sweet proof Bluetooth Earbuds. And I think you would like them.

UrAvgConsumer, I have the same issue as far as ears and keeping earbuds in while running and especially once I start to sweat. I recently had Polk in ear and the sound was great BUT they keep slipping out when I started to seat. @ the present time I have Bose in ear, sound sucks compared to Polk but they don't fall out @ all! Im looking to buy another pair of earphones and you just helped me decide between Powerbeats 2 and Tour2. I think Tour2 will be next.
