I prefer the PowerBeats 3 because:
1: 12 hour battery life (double the life of the 2)
2: Faster fast fuel (cuts the time to get one hour of playback by 10 minutes)
3: Apple W1 Chip, (you can connect them to your phone automatically and switch between what devices You’re playing on as long as they’re on the same icloud)
4: The remote (I don’t like the 2’s Rubber remote)
5: I’m sure both of them are sweat and water resistant
But overall I prefer The powerbeats 3

Hmm. I always wondered the difference between the 2 and the 3, but instead got the beatsX when i got my Galaxy S9, could've gotten the Powerbeats X, but nah. Almost everybody has them at my school

A lots of people complain about not being resistant to sweat, especially the powerbeats 3!
I want to buy a pair of pw3 but im afraid after i saw all this negative reviews of the other buyers.
You had any problem?

Liviu Andy No. I had the power beats 2 for more than 3 years. Bought them brand new. 99% of the times I used them for the gym only. Mostly cardio. Gave me no problems. Same with the beats3. Maybe the other buyers bought a “seller refurbished” pair. And the beats weren’t closed right, so it’s easier for liquid to get inside..

Got my 2nd pair PB3 brand new at a local Walmart, and it gave no issues or water damage issues at all ! Now my first pair of PB3 was from Amazon and it died within a month from my sweat corrosion. My pair from Walmart is still with me today which is now a year and 4 months old and still strong. Basically, GET THEM NEW AT A PHYSICAL STORE ! lol
