Johnny got his wish about the you ate an asshole chant the rock did it again on smackdown September 2023
You ate an asshole😂😂😂😂
The "YOU ARE".... "AN ASSHOLE" chant was genuinely incredible! Penn State deserve a HOF spot just for sustaining that chant all night long 😂
I don't know why they needed to talk about The Rock like that, though.
you are you are I AM I AM AN ASSHOLE
I was sooooo happy when Rock brought that chant back 21yrs later against Austin Theory 😏
Undertaker lore change as a biker walking out to Limp Bizkit is hilarious 💀
Mr Perfect in 2002 WWE is like Michael Jordan on the Washington Wizards, it’s feels…… odd
You can say that about some of the WCW and ECW guys. Like you can’t have me believe Justin Credible actually wrestled on RAW.
@@TravisBroski I only remember him from his match with CM Punk..........I'm quite young
@@alexgordon9508 He was apart of X factor with Xpac and Albert for a bit.
@@TravisBroski Same like Psycho Sid once wrestle in ECW or when RVD wrestle on Raw in 1997 same with Sabu in 1995 WCW.
Had a, pun not intended, perfect opportunity to wrestle Kurt Angle, and it didn't happen. That should have been the Mania match instead of Kurt vs Kane
The effort to find, cut, and sync these clips to the video is much appreciated
Facts❤
I like how they mention '08 and you show footage of CM Punk vs Carlito, nice touch
I wonder if they will watch the 08 draft it had Tazz be annoyed of Matt Hardy going to ECW and JR was legit angry when he and Michael Cole switched plazes.
That popped me so hard!
That's 07 that match
Punk sucks.
@@user-fe8gx3ie5v But enough about your mother
No matter how many times I see the clip of Taker throwing his chair for being drafted to Raw I expect to see Kane throw a chair & walk out behind him as well. Lol
lesnar honestly is such a scary dude at this point. lifting rikishi up like he's a baby
Roids help
Roids help sure, but iif you saw Lesnar wrestle in High School and college, you'd understand roids aren't responsible for that. It's freak genetics. One in a billion type genetics. @@youdontseeanoldmanhavinatw4904
I love how you can physically see D-Von, Kurt, and Bradshaw smirking at Linda saying Austin can’t be drafted 😂😂😂
I really like this style of video. As someone who was raised watching early 2000s ruthless aggression era wwe, it’s cool to see these older wrestling episodes with commentary and context.
This is awesome, if this was how the podcast was presented I would watch every episode. these guys should hire you to do this for them.
They do have a Patreon that include a tier for retro syncs. If you’d like to see more and don’t mind donating to their cause, I’d definitely recommend it
What a shame copyright is so Shi.
@@booyaa1183 because of you, and others like you (if ya know, ya know) I actually subscribed to their Patreon
I gotta say, thank you for doing these. It makes the podcast so much better seeing what they are talking about, and seeing that they aren't overexaggerating it.
Yes! Thank you so much for this! I have been waiting for more full videos of these syncs! 😁
Fun fact: Most of the talent after the live draft did not know which show they where going cause the rest of the draft was online so Chris Jericho wanting to know which show he went called a friend to tell him which show he is on that friend was Luther not kidding. 😯
Luther?
That fact was fun af
Yeah I doubt that
Jawwny's Vince McMahon should be recorded and place in a time capsule for future generations
And his Jim Ross Impression aswell
I would like to quote a famous comedian,
BABABOOEY BABABOOEY
This was the very first WWE TV taping I ever went to at the Bryce Jordan Center in State College. I loved it!
The boys should hire u as their editor. These pod syncs are what attract me to the show as someone who's never seen these wwf episodes before
In regards to Lita's draft pick: if you thought that was a burial, wait a couple of years to her retirement. Her send off was mean spirited.
Mean spirited but deserved; Lita knows what she did.
I'm glad everyone involved has buried the hatchet though :) It was hard being both a Matt and Edge fan at that time.
Gonna go out on a limb here and say that your _employer_ retaliating against you for cheating on your partner is fucked up
@@adderousbut it’s totally cool if the boys cheat on their significant other! That’s… just wrasslin
@@EraVulgarity2 wrongs don't make a right
I remember that Raw after Unforgiven. I felt messed up being part of the crew that nah nah nah nah. Her send off was pretty Messed up. Kaitlin was super blessed that her final Raw match didn’t end like Litas
Back in 98 Vince promised Taker and Kane world Title shots if they protected him from Stone Cold, he ended up not keeping his word
Yeah, he seems to do that quite frequently...
To be fair, did THEY actually keep their word?
@@elishelton3300 yes, kinda
@@elishelton3300they sat back and watched as stone cold beat up Vince. It was the Zamboni segment actually haha
Vince is a sham
I love how Hogan is randomly chilling with Farooq 😊
These videos genuinely make me laugh harder then anything on RUclips, WWE was so good
I *still* remember the "just another victim" line. Happy to learn where it came from.
He was saying that line for years, it was his big catchphrase.
Deadlock syncs are the best, thank you
Between his reaction, going straight to Vince's office, and the "If you know what I mean", that whole Taker segment had to have been some allusion to the Screwjob
Please keep making these. They are pure gold.
I think the Taker thing was that he was supposed to keep his word on Bret Hart but didn't and Taker actually wanted to walk out after the Screwjob but Vince convinced him to stay
And he wind up letting him become champion that year, just so he would stay this time. You're on point with your comment.
Taker stayed cuz Vince listened to him when he said he needed to go see Brett face to face in the back and get what he has coming to him and that's when Brett punched Vince
yup yup believe that’s exactly what he’s talking about
It's so much better with the clips
I just discovered these, keep up the great work!
The thing is, Mr Perfect vs Tazz could’ve been an absolute banger but…. ya know
Hey man. I really like the deadlock syncs you do. It really helps me enjoy the boys podcast more. I appreciate what you do. Keep doing it please.
please keep doing these, I'm obsessed!!
These syncs have been most of what I've been watching for the past few days. I have to tell someone about it so I'll do it here. But nothing can compare to listening to these, hearing them constantly sing Edge's theme and just going "Bleeehhh ahhh DURANGO" and the day I finally go back to listen to it I'm in my car listening to the forceable entry album and I'm parked right behind someone in, you guessed it, a Durango.
This is such a dumb thing but I went crazy as the world literally aligned just for me to see that.
Yup that Rob Zombie song is bad ass.
Love these videos!
Wish there was a bit more actual audio from the show but can totally understand how that might cause issues with copyright takedowns.
Imagine how good all these channels could be without daddy copyright. They'd have millions of subs and views and could split the ad rev, even cut deals % wise.
Thanks for putting the show as they talk is way much better to realize what's going on properly !!!
hey man i love this pls keep making these I'm always excited when I see you post these
"Do you guys remember French Stuart?" is legit one of the funniest sentences I've ever heard😂
21:48 Hearing a detailed description of Christian's attire, I thought for a second we might be getting a legally distinct (the best kind of district!) "What Bar" . . .
Well Bill, Christian is obviously a Jolly Rancher Blue Raspberry pack
16:28 Johnny consider your wish granted. As of September 15th 2023 the chant is back!
Booker T is such a badass, I didn’t know about his early career until listening to your podcasts, it was awesome hearing his progression over the years. His agility makes him one of the greats, his kicks were just so clean ❤
This shit is the closest I'll get to watching wrestling with friends and its a damn shame cuz this shits hilarious
Lol when Haitch legit faked some fainting spell or heart issue in order to get out of putting Axel over
Good.
Axel should have never gone over Triple H lol
1:00:13 the fist stage smackdown with the wwf logo and triple h with the undisputed belt on top of all that is against everything i have ever believed in
It’s like peeking into a parallel world
This and the time WWECW used the Fist stage are the most wtf things I have seen that ECW episode had Bobby Lashley vs Matt Stricker too as well.
I love these videos man. So good
this is hilarious, great job editing it all together
These locker rooms are just insane. This really was the best time to be into wrestling.
2 things from this era that I just don’t recall whatsoever are Triple H with the Undisputed Title and Hulk Hogans random new theme song 😂😭
It's funny Kane is just standing there alone 😂
Not only seeing the Undisputed title on HHH is weird, but seeing the WWF logo on it is weeeeeeeirrrddddd to me
The rock just brought back “you are /an asshole”, what a callback
I think Undertaker was threatening to kill Vince if he didn't keep his word, otherwise I don't know what he was on about.
the raab himself sign at 19:49 reminds me on the hard cam during the match where kevin nash tears his quad walking across the room, someone has a big "CKY" sign in bold letters they're holding up
that shit's peak 2002
they brought the chant back
That Stephanie leg pan done had me 🧱 up for years
Where my Clock Goblins at?
I think It’s because Vince had takers word that flair wouldn’t pick taker. And flair picked taker which is why he was pissed
Great video. Thank you very much
Linder McMahon with the shout out to duel duelson... WW "Fe"
World Wrestling Iron is an interesting name conclusion
16:48 The Rock did this part again recently towards Austin Theory.
Did you not see the pinned comment? It’s been said.
YOU DAMN RIGHT
Fun fact: DDP actually changed his real name to Dallas Page
The smackdown after vince buys wcw would be a good sync
26:09 "Nobody knows about that shit" Best delivery ever
Nash took the Rock Bottom significantly better than I would expect
I was sooooo happy when Rock brought that chant back 21yrs later against Austin Theory
I got to watch both when broadcasted 😏
Watching this right after the video for the first wwe draft and both have a "WTF was Christian wearing last week?" Segment is funny AF
Never thought I'd hear Cory Chase referenced on Deadlock, lmao.
Who is that?
@@georgefranco7900 I got a feeling you already know homie, lol. But just in case, she is an adult film star.
@@MiniMugenMan Lol. I thought it was a wrestler and thought “I’ve never heard of them.” Especially since I was watching this time period recently.
AEW should consider doing a show at Penn State
Why did nobody realize that Rock botched when he said he shoved Vince's face into Rikishi's rear on RAW?
Cause that happened on Smackdown not RAW.
Why didn’t the Hardy’s keep those jackets? They looked so cool
Great podcast, but who the hell hates Voodoo Child by Jimi Hendrix? That song is legendary.
1:01:51 They don’t mention it but a portion of this spot was a tag move in the video games. The “Accident” corner tag move. Just doesn’t have the catapult.
The fact i knew exactly which Wings intro they were talking about the moment they said it 😂
CURTIS AXEL IS ALMOST 45 WTF
Wings of redemption, raw is war spot will never make me not pop its so dam funny
can you link the video? I've never seen it.
Next time you do a Deadlock Sync, you should do the one on the April 10th, 2000 Nitro (the Nitro Reboot episode)
Dude one of ya'lls laugh sounds like Chucky man. Charles Lee Ray . The low mid tone evil laugh . Hahaha. Cool
Every time they imitate Vince I laugh so hard. All I can picture is the poor commentators having Vince screaming into their ear when stuff’s going wrong.
Ric flair despite our differences I pick Scott Steiner! Lol
WWFE was World Wrestling Federation Entertainment
Booker was so cool back in the day man.
It sucks because Henning and Taz on paper could of been a better match
hogan’s vodoo child entrance music was AWESOME. these guys are trippin
Cory chase big shout out
Who’s that?
OSW: Christian is the best dressed man in wrestling
Deadlock: Christian never dresses well
I think taker was referencing montreal with the you better keep your word.
Ivory was my first crush. I can only imagine that people weren't ready for her in a bikini or lingerie back then. Because those photos were next level to me back then.
48:45 Funniest thing about this pick. 2 months later on Raw when it's Vince vs Flair for 100% ownership of the company. Brock Lesnar is the one who interferes, so if Flair just let Vince have Brock he would have never lost 50% of the company in storyline.
55:54 90% sure it is actually Raab Himself holding the sign in this shot
You know another thing that didn't make sense, is why Edge decided to interfere in the RVD vs Angle match. Angle and Edge were both drafted to Smackdown. Let Angle win the match and then Edge can feud with Angle for the Intercontinental title. Just a thought.
Doing gods work
lol they did "YOU ARE".... "AN ASSHOLE" last week
I’m pretty sure the “WWFE” name tag for Linda was because at the time the company’s actual legal name was World Wrestling Federation Entertainment I believe they changed to that in 1999 and went until the name change in ‘02…. Why they felt the need to randomly use it here I have no idea
11/10/2024 WE ARE LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Evening
There like 3 guys in pen state everyone looks like raab himself even Anthony looks like raab 😂
These are awesome! Any chance of getting more?
I don’t believe Billy and Chuck ever held the Smackdown tag team titles.
They only held the world tag titles never once the wwe tag titles cause when they where introduced billy was hurt and chuck was a solo guy again on Velocity he came back in 03 to be apart of Nunzios faction with Johnny the Bull Stambolli.
21:52 He's Parappa the Rapper!
Original draft era 2002-2010 was the best
