24:23 She's not being kicked out by him, he PHYSICALLY kicked her in the back, after which she started packing to leave. So yeah, he physically assaulted her - not once - on top of all the other bs.
Him having his camera on still blows my mind. If he didnt have it on, he couldve at least lied and said it was edited, out of context, impersonation, etc. But he really thought the best course of action was to show his face in clear 4k quality while having his unhinged rant. Its the equivalent of a bank robber livestreaming the heist with his mask mostly off using a selfie stick lol.
It’s awful that she felt the need to gather this much proof in order to be taken seriously and be heard because of the severe power differential. I can’t imagine just how traumatizing that process alone was. I’m so sad for her. I can’t even imagine how triggering it was for her to write up the document to expose her abuser. I wish her healing and I hope she gives herself so much grace. I wish healing for Alex, too. He needs A LOT of long term help and I hope he focuses on himself before getting in another relationship.
no matter if alex truly does change, what he did was unforgivable in the eyes of most including me. you cant put someone through that and then say youll just get therapy and change then expect flowers.
@@jaycartwright1170I totally feel you but I personally believe that EVERYONE is capable of positive change. It just might take some extra work on this idiot 🤣🤣🤣
The statistics are not in favour of positive change for abusers, most of them are a lost cause when they get to his stage. The root of their problem is their need to avoid shame and project all the blame on to everyone else.
@@sampsqwantch4612 You're naive. Dangerously so. Psychologists will tell you that abusers only ever get more cruel and better at hiding abuse. They never improve. Just like a 53× 0ffender.
As someone who suffered severe abuse in my life and knows the pain of gaslighting and being blamed are the most painful things because it can be so hard to explain yourself when you’re made to believe everything is your fault, I really just wanted to let you know that your take on this situation was the most insightful, rational and comforting one I’ve heard. You are an absolute sweetie. Thank you for this.
Oompa never misses, I haven't watched him in years, but still he cracks me like an walnut. Sorry for the abuse & manipulative people you've had to experience. I have relatives like that & even had a close friend turn out like that. There's nothing you can do for them but to make yourself happier than them.
“Most of my friends struggle to understand everything I’m saying” So my dad always taught me that if someone is trying to explain something to you using a lot of big words and it’s not making any sense to you, usually means they have no idea what they’re talking about. People who are actually knowledgeable about it will be able to explain it in a simplistic and easily understandable manner.
It’s really as simple as that. A professional is a professional because they have the knowledge, and can teach it to others. Hence the word professor sounding similar. A professional in their field, devoted to teaching that field of expertise.
There's actually a quote that say something like "if you can't explain it in simple terms then you don't understand it yourself" I'm paraphrasing, but your dad is spot on.
I dont agree. Yes you can explain anything in simple terms but that also means your leaving allot of stuff out of your explanation. Some things are complex and sometimes its not respectful to simplify thing. Also, when someone is using words that you don't understand it can mean they might have misjudged your knowledge about the subject (assuming you know things you don't know).
@@Retrohunter1994 I believe you have missed my point. I never said the person doesn’t understand the larger, more complex words. There is a difference between someone who’s trying to sound knowledgeable about something versus someone who actually is knowledgeable about that subject.
24:29 He didn't kick her out. He *kicked her.* She is packing up and leaving the house because he got violent while she was trying to fix dinner for his parents who were coming over. His reason for kicking her in the back as she was trying to take the trash out? He asked if he could help and she gave him more than one task to do.
I think Alex may have an adult ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) too. (My brother at forty years old, has it) Throwing a wobbler over housework is what makes me think that. He has some extremely childish traits.
@@folkloreofbeing I'm not saying you did, I'm just stating that having a disorder no matter how bad it is or if in therapy for it no one should be excused from being violent. I wasn't trying to attack you truly
As someone who went through similar stuff with a British man, hearing that voice message from him apologizing was triggering. It was everything you want to hear when you're in that position. EVERYTHING. Like he didn't miss a single thing. And I know that that was intentional. He knew he didn't mean any of it but had to say it to get her back, because the only thing he said that he actually believes is that he wants her back, that she was the best thing to happen to him. I can't even imagine how she felt when she listened to that message. It would take all of my power to stay rational, and I don't even have enough confidence in myself to know I would walk away. She's incredibly strong.
lol I mean it unintentionally becomes drama because the same thing always happens. The abuse victims blast the abuser online. No interest of even reporting the crime to the authorities. Countless videos are made about the “drama”. Then the abuser either goes away forever or just takes a long break. lol This specific case has even more “drama” because this guy was such a hypocrite behind closed doors.
I think it's more of a situation where all cucumbers are vegetables but not all vegetables are cucumbers. Technically this is drama. It's just also a lot of other High Caliber stuff.
hey i saw you in the 2 most recent video, also in the internet i love how when normal people do a crime, its a crime, when influencers do it, DRAMA!!!!!!
3 years ago I got out of an extremely abusive marriage with my husband of almost 10 years. He acted very similar to Alex here. You’re right when you say it’s hard to leave even when it’s so awful and miserable. You don’t know where to go, how you’ll make it, I also had kids so I didn’t want to essentially make them homeless. It got so bad he ended up almost murdering me and cps took my kids due to them being exposed to domestic violence. Even then I only left because cps said I wouldn’t have a chance getting my kids back if I didn’t divorce him. I did and I am so happy now. Yes its much harder to make it in life but I’m happier I’m free I’m a whole different person and I wish I had left a lot sooner than I did. But when you’re in that situation you can’t see past today. Don’t shame the victims for not leaving, guys.
I’m sorry to bring this up, but I am struggling I’ve noticed that I’ve been attracted to abusers, part of me realizes what’s up but then part of me Denys it, like watching about Alex or Seth from Sam and Colby part of me wants that again, I don’t know if it’s maybe I don’t believe I was abused enough or maybe I just think i deserve it I’m just scared tbh on how my body reacts, how I react with my brain and heart and I don’t want my brain to continue to think I deserve this
I wish people would stop thinking that bipolar means "up one minute, down the next". It's not that at all. It's weeks/months of mania, followed by weeks/months of depression. If your mood changes several times a day, or you blow hot and cold,, or you one minute think someone is amazing and the next think they're awful, that's more like BPD/EUPD. And even then, it's not an excuse, and lots of people with BPD/EUPD are self-aware enough to be able to catch themselves when they're having those difficult emotions and like, not abuse people. But yeah for the love of Gd can we please stop using the word "bipolar" to mean "contradicting"
Thank you for shedding light on the cycles of abuse. As someone who has been in abusive relationship, there is nothing more infuriating to hear than the ignorant phrase "why didn't you leave?" or "just leave him" because it is NOT that simple. Stockholm syndrome is a very real thing and it can be very emotionally confusing, especially when that person makes you feel like you have nothing without them. (Isolation from family and friends, constant emotional ups and downs, telling them that they are nothing without them and that they give a lot in the relationship, targeting people who are already struggling mentally) Sometimes they make you feel like they are all you have and that your whole world ends without them being there. It's a lot of brainwashing and emotional manipulation that you just won't understand unless you have experienced it yourself. It is just crazy how fragile and susceptible to manipulation our brains can be.

I watched Memeulous and WillNE before I found out about Alex tbh
That sort of behaviour is actually illegal in the U.K. now. Coercive and abusive. You can be arrested for doing it to a partner. Particularly as he’s also been physically abusive
I’ve been in an abusive relationship and in several other toxic relationships and it’s very hard to leave. With the abusive one, I was scared to be alone and I had gaslit myself into thinking I was still attracted to him when I wasn’t. He treated me horribly and it took him SAing me for me to finally leave. In one of the toxic ones he had repeatedly sent reels and TikTok’s about a specific disorder (I can’t remember the name), where you basically self destruct if people reject and/or leave you. It’s an incredible fear and an actual physical reaction to it. He stated he had this and that made me terrified to leave out of fear of what he’d do and how he’d react. When I broke up with him, his reaction was enough for me to realize that was a lie and it was a massive guilt trip. There’s many reasons why people stay, and saying “they should’ve left” is horrible.
As someone who’s been in an abusive relationship I can tell you these r just crocodile tears and a manipulative tactic. I actually do have BPD and never have I acted like him. EDIT: all BPD is on a case by case basis depending on how extreme it may appear. I experienced pretty severe symptoms but thankfully sought out treatment.
Came here to say exactly this. I was stuck in one for 8 years. Lucky I made it out alive. She is so lucky she made it out and i'm so glad she was able to put it all out there, she probably saved someone else from getting hurt.
I have dated women with BPD and I know people with BPD and while all relationships I had with them were extremely poisonous; they were not outright abusive like Alex was. Alex is a conniving weasel and an abuser and it has nothing to do with his BPD if he even has it

Not defending the person. Mental health diagnosis are all on a spectrum. Just because your version is different from another’s, doesn’t mean it’s not real for that other individual. However, non of that is an excuse for what’s going on here. Nor am I claiming tht they actually have the condition. Just that it could be different and be true.
The fact that turkey Tom says it's ok for an adult to message a minor means we will see a vid like this on him real soon (and honestly not gonna be surprised)
To explain the Slazo thing, his ex accused him of basically being abusive and Slazo had evidence against it. Everyone for probably a few months like dogpiled on him until he came out and called Chey (the ex in question) for basically twisting the truth and lying. She (i think) wiped herself from the internet and Slazo only posted maybe 4-5 videos before dropping off the face of the planet.

Just to note, this behaviour is more associated with BPD not bipolar. Bipolar is a more sustained periods of lows and mania. BPD is more reactive to emotional triggers and is often in relation to feelings of abandonment. This often pushes them to push away loved ones to reinforce their belief that everyone leaves them in the end.
i agree so much. people need to stop acting like alex’s behavior couldn’t possibly be BPD. it very well could be. he’s exhibiting a lot of the characteristics, but others with BPD in the comments who do get help and are more self aware, are saying it could NEVER be bpd just because they don’t personally act like him. EVERY mental illness has a spectrum, with some acting a lot worse than others. there’s mild BPD and severe. it’s simply ignorant to immediately say that he could never have bpd because he’s abusive and “not all people with bpd are abusive.” like DUH! nothing is black and white… there are many people out there who act like alex who do have BPD, just as there are people who could never act like him who also have it.
@@ashleynoelle999 as some one with BPD, the man could very possibly have that. The BPD especially plays into his massive ego. @bens1cultist405 I have BPD as well, hence recognising the behaviour. CPTSD can mirror a lot of BPD as well so I wouldn't say it's a diagnosis for sure. There's a Dr on RUclips who helps explain the issues of BPD and other conditions in a non judgment way.
I have bipolar. I do hear some ranting he does but it’s not like the ranting I do when I’m in a manic state. He almost made too much sense. At least in my situation when I get worked up and enter that manic state (which any small trigger can start a slow uncontrollable explosion) I am so anxious and ready to speak my next sentence before I finish my last one that it becomes almost incomprehensible. I’m speaking clearly but mixing my words, thoughts and phrases along with my emotions. It’s unbearable for me but more for whoever deals with me. It’s made me live a more isolated life trying to balance being available for others but knowing when I need to separate myself from a situation because I’m old enough now to feel when an episode is coming. Mine usually starts with a feeling of social anxiety. But, everyone is different

He’s not bi-polar, he’s a nasty virtue signalling piece of work. All abusers torture, torment (it’s not always physical) and then cry like babies, they cry like babies apologising because they are fully aware that what they did was wrong. He’s a narcissist and believes he is the most important person in the world, he has treated people terribly to further his own career/agenda time and time again, he’s apology is pathetic and I’m glad Alice didn’t buy it 🤷♀️
ah the ol apologise - no response - keep apologising - no reponse - getting angry, escalating apology- no response - this keeps going until he would explode with anger and abuse her - then back to apology
“I have no idea why Alex would even want to be with Alice if he’s just going to get mad at her for just communicating…” Me to myself when I was in a 2 year relationship where I was treated the same way and my BPD would not only keep me from leaving, but also made me fight back in ways that made everything worse and just as bad as my partner until he left me. To the end, I couldn’t leave. But I’m glad he’s gone. I know I’m better for it.

Oh he knew or had a feeling what was coming. So put out the fake empathy video. Oh yes I’m sure he talked the cancer victim through very hard times…or just listened. Would be nice is she existed and he actually did this. I watched him years ago and just got a bad vibe. Then he’d just pop up now and then for doing awful things. So I just don’t believe him.
I feel so bad for people stuck in these kinds of situations. I had a friend in a bad situation for five years. She’s doing great now, but just thinking how miserable they weren’t back done and how strapped she felt breaks my heart. We need to love one another.
i was in a relationship for a year where he would speak to me exactly like that (not british luckily) and i can’t stress how much it really traumatizes someone to be berated by someone they love like that. this dude is a monster
One of my things was being shouted at, it sounds silly but having a male voice scream and shout at me is something that just puts me back to a place where I felt utterly powerless and afraid. It's control through intimidation and it took so much to realise that that behaviour was one of the first red flags. I hope you're doing better now ❤
I'm a diagnosed bipolar, please DO NOT confuse this mental illness with imoral behavior. I study my own mind a lot to help with the struggles and trust me when I say it: mental illness does not justify evil. Usually there must be something fundamentally wrong with a person to be like that and mental illness is just one more thing on top of it, so absolutely not the same. "I hate you, don't leave me!" Is a popular descriptive phrase for BPD. It's all there... but there's hope with treatment and the right medication for the individual. I wish I could do more, but I’m SO exhausted all the time from them SCREAMING every night and morning! Sometimes ALL day!
Popular youtubers dont need to 'mean' there apology. I doubt alot of them do, all they need to do is make it believable and their followers will eat it up or reject it entirely.
As someone who suffers from a bipolar disorder, I can tell you that abusing your partner is NOT a symptom of it. Let’s say he does actually suffer from it. He is using his disorder to straight up manipulate her.. he is selfish and self absorbed. Something others get wrong about the disorder is the changes in moods. Bipolar is not a personality disorder it is a mood disorder. The switches of emotions are completely detached from your personality. It’s not the bipolar disorder he’s literally just a horrible person Let’s stop the stereotypes he’s really not helping 😢

This came at the perfect time for me, a lot of this parallels the way my best friend has been talking to me for the last decade. (Nowhere near as extreme, but a lot of the text messages are things he's said.) It's so easy to get stuck defending yourself and trying to explain things, believing they'll wake up and realize what they're doing to you. Switching between happy, sad and angry without a moment's notice is NOT Bipolar. Bipolar requires a long drawn out emotional state. Like a few weeks to a few months in a manic episode where one does impulsive things and doesn't consider the consequences to their actions. Then comes a crash for a month or more of regret, shame and depression. Then eventually the depression fades and they get manic again. It is gradual and long lasting. a person who is one second friendly, then one second angry, then the next apologetic means that they are actually emoting in a fake way. They are using their behavior to elicit a certain response.
You saying that phrase triggered memories of my dad terrorising a five year old me. And when I cried he'd accuse me of crocodile tears and demand that I stop crying. He'd get angry if I didn't and so I learnt to cut my tears off, which would only make him say "see, I told you they were crocodile tears!" I'm in my forties now and struggle to express sadness or tears.

I’m getting real annoyed at how many people claim to be unbiased. All media has bias, the only things that aren’t biased are like a piece of fruit. What you mean is that your personal relationships have no bearing on your judgement, but you are still making a judgement and thus still biased. The bias in this case can come from a range of places such as personal politics, societal norms, experience etc.

11:08 ASPD is the same thing as sociopathy and psychopathy. ASPD is a diagnosis for ASPD, sociopathy and psychopathy. The terms sociopath and psychopath don’t exist anymore, technically. As someone diagnosed with ASPD, forensic psychiatry differentiates between ASPD, ASPD with sociopathic tendencies and ASPD with psychopathic tendencies, however the only diagnosis is “ASPD”. I’m psychopathic which is determined by the high score of my tests and further evaluation, yet there’s nothing they can diagnosis me with other than antisocial personality disorder.
It's strange, I look at what's necessary to meet the diagnosis and it's not much. It seems very easy to check the boxes, or maybe I don't hang out with"normal" people.
@@MackenzieNerdyEMTDepends on how you look at it, I’m under the impression that everyone has symptoms of ASPD because there’s yet a human I have to meet who didn’t have atleast 2. The sociopathic and psychopathic aspect of it however probably isn’t all that easy since you need to lack certain emotions like remorse, guilt, fear and technically “normal” love because we don’t emotionally bond. The lack of empathy is also opinion based really, I don’t possess emotional empathy but I do possess cognitive empathy (like most with ASPD) and alot of people without diagnosis are emotionally apathetic. Alot of symptoms of ASPD align with alot of others disorders and mental illnesses. The requirements for ASPD however aren’t really what google and sites say, they make it a bit too easy, I went through HOURS of testing (also for different disorders because symptoms align) and evaluation etc. Google’s first symptom is “repeatedly breaking the law”, I’ve not broken many laws in my life- but that’s because I’m mostly at home isolated. That’s why hours of evaluation are necessary because situations are different. How aware someone is of their diagnosis also plays a role, I went to get a diagnosis because I knew and I’ve always been very aware.

But, everyone is different
yeah, im BPD and it felt a lot more like BPD splitting...he lashed out and then wanted to save face when he realized, the "loneliness" or "regret" or whatever it feels after having a BPD fit, i've never been able to describe it, plus i've been medicated for so long that i don't remember exactly how it feels.

I saw a little bit of that vid while I was searching for vids about this situation. Glad I'm not the only one who found that weird af. Couldn't watch the whole thing. So peformative and odd.
Oh he knew or had a feeling what was coming. So put out the fake empathy video. Oh yes I’m sure he talked the cancer victim through very hard times…or just listened. If he is truly sorry then he is going to get therapy and become a better person, but be for real, what are the odds of that, right?
Also, thank you so much for being so well informed and kind about abusive relantionships, Oompaville (I apologize for not knowing your name, I am new in your channel). It’s not the bipolar disorder he’s literally just a horrible person

Hearing Alex's fake apology made me realize that 1) those words are never going to come out of my friend's mouth, and 2) they wouldn't actually make me feel any better even if they did. I hope I'm finally ready to actually break the cycle, I always fall into thinking "this time will be different" even though it never changes.
Hey, I'm a random internet stranger with no bearing on your life, but I'm here to say that I'm proud of you for realising that the situation you're in isn't at all what you deserve. Take it one step at a time, and please be kind to yourself. You've got this, and I hope the future brings friends into your life who treat you with the love and compassion you deserve.
@@notacatnt Thank you for the kind words, it means a lot! Luckily I do have some amazing, supportive friends already, but I'm definitely ready to start cultivating more positive relationships.
I appreciate you saying I don't deserve it and want to assure you that, while I've always understood that cognitively, I'm learning what actions I need to take to really honor that. I mostly just fell into the "I can fix him" trap and have to accept that, even if I do everything right, it's still up to him to actually change.
I'm focusing on addressing the things that keep me from breaking the cycle, like learned helplessness and poor boundary setting. I really loved how kind Oompa was to the woman in this video, I was always disappointed in myself for giving my friend "another chance" but it's so easy to fall for the person you know they could be.
Again, thank you for taking the time to encourage me, you're a wonderful person and I wish you the best.
Every time oompa shows Alex, I think of that meme of the fish with the crooked teeth going “WeLL aT LeaST OuR sChoOlS” 😂😂

Splitting hairs. They go hand in hand.
When i hear those crying messages, all i hear is "crocodile tears" and if those tears are real, its because he got exposed, not cause he hurt her
You saying that phrase triggered memories of my dad terrorising a five year old me. And when I cried he'd accuse me of crocodile tears and demand that I stop crying.
He'd get angry if I didn't and so I learnt to cut my tears off, which would only make him say "see, I told you they were crocodile tears!"
I'm in my forties now and struggle to express sadness or tears.

I’m getting real annoyed at how many people claim to be unbiased. All media has bias, the only things that aren’t biased are like a piece of fruit.
So him calling her sobbing sounding so genuine and admitting fault for past issues is TEXTBOOK a step in the abuse cycle. Manipulation like that is why people keep going back to abusive partners. Because they repent and cry and say they'll do better. But they never actually do better.
