I love the music choice here because I drive listening to this stuff all the time and plan on using it. Plus I'm gonna be building a Lambo Replica at some point and you can't buy windows. Ill make my own just like you did.
That is a really good idea. I started installing the lexan on the rear doors but used rivets. And since the car sits outside all the time I ended up getting some rain inside. I used silicone to seal it up a little better. I wish I thought of this to keep it clean. But I might do the front door like that so that way when it's hot out I can have air in the car lol keep up the work. Car looks awesome.
My buddy’s uncle got the roll for me. He has the connection. But I’m sure if you google lexan sheet you should be able to come up with local spots where you can get a sheet.
Nice video man. I got a question for you tho. To run events don’t you have to be able to roll the front windows down? Also, how do you think it would work if it was mounted on the regulator to be able to open? Thanks
Yes you are 100% correct! Most organizations require you to have both front windows down. And thankfully with the bracket I made I’m able to remove bother front windows really easily. I made the front more for towing reasons. And it’ll definitely work on a window regulator. My buddy has a set he uses on his hatch that he has starched to the oem regulator and he’s got no issues with them.
I’ve had this car for 10+ years. And haven’t really driven a hatch or coupe, so I wouldn’t be able to give you accurate answers. BUT I know the 96-00 civic coupe and sedan have the same wheel base. So I’d tend to think they would handle similarly.
👍Do you know the weight of your civic? Nice civic I'm going to build a oval track stock car with my 97 ek sedan. Our rules say we can't go less then 2100lbs.
Hey how’s it going man! So sorry for getting back to you so late. But yeah as it sits she’s 2160 without me in it. And that’s awesome man! Best of luck with the build!
this is very clever. keeps the lexan stealthhhh
I got an ek sedan wit a built type r swap that im workin on rn! Ur a true inspiration brotha! Keep it up!
Wow man! Thank you so much I appreciate that big time! I’m trying! Hopefully I can continue to bring some useful content for you.

Yeah man! Go for it! Thankfully I can keep my car in my garage but sometimes I tow in the rain and I try to keep this car as dry as possible lol

My buddy’s uncle got the roll for me. He has the connection. But I’m sure if you google lexan sheet you should be able to come up with local spots where you can get a sheet.

Get some large fender washers and put felt on one side of each. I'll distribute the load better, and the felt will help with vibrations.
I had thought about that but didn’t have any fender washers. I’ll definitely be giving this a shot
I want do this to my civic coupe ej1. After I do this can I tint my windows?
when you are tracking this car, do you feel a weight difference between the coupe, hatch and sedan, idk if you have driven a coupe or a hatch

Questions!
Where did you buy the lexan and how much was it?
My buddy’s uncle knows a guy. And he scooped up a roll for me. I got lucky
@@C_Plus_Racing do you haopen to know the thickness of the lexan?
Cutting a rubber block as a spacer instead of bracket would be better maybe?
That’s a good idea I’ll give that a shot
Could you reinforce the lexan with a sandwich of several pieces of lexan and glue at the drill sites?
What if the window was shattered and you don’t have a template how can you use Lexan instead of glass?
Bro can tell me what the thickness of the lexan u use
I believe it’s 3mm
Who did your roll cage?
A shop in Bk called soul of the street
What's the thickness buddy
Hey what’s up man!? I’m using 3mm thickness
