- When safety really does matter!
There comes to a point when you say enough is enough.
Well at the last race that was my point. Racing during the day with a crappy piece of window was fine but add darkness to it, well that's a different story.
So that's why I decided to go ahead and bite the bullet and replace the window now then later.
It's never a dull moment in racing!
You got to watch to see how it pans out plus bonus scene for next weeks video at the end!
So hope you enjoy this video!
The car is a 1995 Camaro with a LS 6.0 motor running a BTR Stage 5 Cam and running PRC 220cc heads from Texas Speed. This is a N/A motor, no boost and no NOS! I bracket race this car every chance I can get.
Also you can follow me on Instagram @kenskorner64 for the latest project that I'm currently working on!
Interesting video. Enjoyed it. Of course----. " The day you"re done is the day the for sale sign goes on it." Good luck, & have fun.
That's so true! Thanks for watching.
Do you have a video on how you cut the cowl to clearance for the carburetor? Thanks!
I'm afraid I don't but, it's pretty easy to do. Just drilled the corners (3/8) hole and used a jig saw with a semi fine blade. Cuts pretty easy.
Optic Armor looks great, and is easy to see thru. But for the love of God do NOT get methanol on it. It will take the protective coating off instantly. Been there, done that. Then it is really hard to see thru.
LOL, a few races ago the float adjustment screw came out going down the track! Talking about a "Old Faithful"! That was a site to see for sure!
That was with the old windshield not this new one!
