It's hard for humans in reality, losing parents and siblings to old age. I speak from experience, my parents have been gone for decades, and I discovered the Frieren manga when I was 64, just after losing my 86 year-old brother. Believe me, this story resonates with me deeply.
Thanks for the video! Great insides into the past of Frieren. Only thing I wanna mention: Frieren doesn't mean cold (that would be "kalt"), but "to freeze". Or to be more specific, the sensation of feeling cold/freezing. Sorry for playing the grammar police. XD
i think that frieren only took 1 pupil, fern since she said that students will only get in her way until she met heiter and lived with him for a 5 years
Well, taking pupils is more Serie thing to do (she is older then Frieren). Basicly Serie was the one who teach magic to Humanity and make foundation for Magic Academy (and rule it together with 1-st rank mages - her best pupils and top human mages ) . But Frieren and Serie....well... hate each other
Do you guys think we will get to see the fight between the Demon King and The Hero's party in some flashback episode or something? I really hope they animate that final fight somewhere down the line
"Frieren has taken on many apprentices and trained them to become great mages". Were is that fact mentioned. I have read the entire manga and watched the anime series several times and don't remember anyone apart from Fern becoming her apprentice.
She doesn't hate her, she's just mad at her. For refusing her offer of a spell of her choice from the mythic era, for defeating the Demon King when the leader couldn't ever do it, for loving the Flower Bed magic Flamme taught her instead of some useful spell, and most of all for having an apprentice as talented as Fern who puts all of the leader's apprentices to shame except maybe Flamme. They definitely have very different personalities that don't mesh well at all, though. But I think hatred is kind of mischaracterizing the feelings.
Probably. Considering that elves basically have zero sex drive or romantic impulses, and this isn't the kind of manga that would just throw in a past non-consensual episode just for shock value.
as a person that read the manga I was crying man tears while reading it feels so sad losing everyone since you're an elf
Sometimes immortality can be a curse.
Thank you for watching :)

@@captainnerd6452 life is very interesting indeed, and this manga has a very interesting way to see it
The scene of frieren getting stuck in mimic was so funny , it's understandable why there's plushies for it
It's also a recurring gag even to this day, you'll see it happen more as Frieren's journey continues xD
Thanks for the video!

Thank you for explaining it better :)
Have a great day Icaimas
@@AniHaste Frieren is beyond cold.... ;) ;) ;)

frieren took alot of pupils before fern but they all ended up dying. That's why she didn't agree with Heiter to took Fern at the first time.

We might see in 5 years
This manga was really good, I am hyped for the anime.

Frieren does not mean cold in german.
Frieren means to shiver from the cold.
Frieren means COLD explains 80% of the anime.
I was so curious about kraft i think he is the forgotten hero that's why himmel can't draw the sword because the owner is still alive
What is the music
Just Us League - RKVC
Thank you for watching Bliss :)
Have a nice day!
@@AniHaste thanks
She is not the most powerful in elven village btw.
She is just a teenager when it comes to power scale compare to a strong adult elf.
lol frieren is only a back alley mage because the one who leads the magic organization hates frieren

@@richardkenan2891 Didn't frieren herself say that serie hates her?
Frieren looks like amity bright of the owl house series.
may i know if FRIEREN is VIRGIN?😂
I mean Himmel tried but failed to make it work out.
Elves are a dying race precisely because they have almost no sex drive or drive to have children.

So much wrong in the video...
