kalimba day 2: slowly getting used to things !!

- at some parts you can kind of hear my ceiling fan moving but just ignore that it took me forever to get this take ;-; ;-; ;-;
second day of trying to make stuff with a kalimba !!!
i still have like no idea what I'm doing and the timing is terribly off, but I feel I'm getting better !!!
this time around, I kind of treated it how I would normally compose on a piano, just had to keep it to notes that were within c major haha
the tuning I have my kalimba set to right now is just like only the diatonic c major modes which is cool and all, but I almost always use chromatics in my songs :0
so I think maybe next time ill return things so I can create some cooler sounding harmonies and all that !!!
HOWEVER since the kalimba is organized with just diatonics alternating left and right off the center, it makes it so pressing any two adjacent notes creates a major or minor third !!
which I kind of just spammed in this one since its so easy to have comfortable harmony that way haha

How to make pancakes
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter or vegetable oil
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Additional butter or oil for greasing the pan
Instructions:
Preheat your griddle or non-stick skillet: Place it over medium heat to warm up while you prepare the batter.
Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
Mix wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter or oil, egg, and vanilla extract (if using) until well combined.
Combine wet and dry ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. It's okay if there are a few lumps; overmixing can make the pancakes tough.
Grease the pan: Lightly grease the preheated griddle or skillet with butter or oil.
Cook the pancakes: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle or skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.
Flip the pancakes: Carefully flip each pancake with a spatula and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 1-2 minutes more.
Serve: Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate and serve immediately, or keep them warm in a low oven while you cook the remaining batter.
Optional toppings: Serve the pancakes with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, butter, fresh fruit, whipped cream, chocolate chips, or nuts.
