For me, this is a story a kin to Lord of the Rings, all though this has me more grown to it, there are no comparisons, both stories have you wanting for more, but that is the story, that is how it ends, just like life, no matter how it goes, it ends the same way, exept it, don't scare from it, we're all going to take the same journey, one way or another.

The character development, while a mix for some characters, was better between Yuna and Tidus and when you include the fantastic score building up to the climactic send off for him, its a touching love story, isn't it? I cried too, if you’ve ever lost someone you loved and truly cared about it’s not easy to let go. This gives such an emotional ride from beginning to end it’s hard to let go
There’s a sad/romantic irony that tidus thought in the beginning that he was gonna go back to being a celebrity and Yuna was ready to sacrifice herself to save the world and in the end the opposite happened.
@@FlexingThumbs hopefully X-3 fixes some of the issues with FFX: Will and X-2.5 I wish they would do a Zanarkand Bevelle war era epic prequel called FFX: Original Sin Have it include Yu Yevon, Yunalesca, Lord Zaon, Shuyin, Lenne, etc as main characters. Combine the feeling of Crisis Core and Halo Reach for tone. The noble fight against a foregone conclusion where the audience knows how it ends but the characters don't and their sincere efforts are heartbreaking. Then do one about Braska, Jecht, and Auron. Only then revisit FFX-3 with the lessons learned and integrated. After Will and 2.5 I don't trust their creative direction not to butcher Tidus and Yuna like Disney did Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars Sequels.
Damn that ending. Seeing as this was my first video game, it was, I want to know how it ends, but I don't want it to end. So the ending caught me off guard. Most FF endings get me emotional but this one tops them all. It couldn't have been done better. Congrats on beating it! But this wont be the last of my comments in your videos :p I gotta catch up on your RE2 and check out your Until Dawn. Your expressions and reactions are priceless. That's why I get your feelings coz this game really hit hard! Dammit Squaresoft! Oh, this is the best one I played in PS2 console, story, music and graphic wise. This game was ahead of its time. Btw, if you haven't played FFVII Crisis Core, I suggest you play it, coz it will hit you hard too. I remember when I was 5 or 6 I would hang out with my older brother and some of his skater friends and seeing the battle against Jecht on the 18 in tube screen locked away deep into this guy's basement when it came out in 2001. About 5 years later I finally figured out what it is and man, I have never found a better game since. No matter if you're young or old. This last scene causes feelings you would never imagine a game could do to you. My first FF was 7 and I also played 8, 9, 10-2, 12 and 13, but this has just a special place for me and will always be my favorite.

I feel sad on the whistling part scene 35:14 at the pier as well because Tidus taught Yuna the whistle and promised Yuna that whenever he heard her whistling, he will run back to her no matter where he is.. and Yuna wanna try it to see if he kept his promised yet she knows he cant be back anymore. This scene of the pier match the ending credit scene 44:16 as Tidus did heard the whistle and came swimming up... in case anyone is confused with the ending

What you went through is what millions of us went through back in the very early 2000's. I only date women like Yuna ever since this game. I fell in love with her before and always have.
Well I know I’m late here but here’s what I know, the faith brought tidus back at the end of x2, yuna was informed that if tidus was ever aware of how he was brought back then he would disappear for good so she breaks up with him. As war breaks out tidus kicks a blitz ball that was actually a bomb and that kills him. Now I’ve heard rumors that him an yuna had a child so yea that’s all the stuff I’ve heard about why she did what she did hope that helps. And yes I could be wrong but that’s what I’ve heard
You are not over emotional as the way I've seen it men cry too just not as much and they usually try not to do it around others but the ending to this game will make anyone with a loving heart cry
What a beautiful game I don't think FF7, FF15 and any other Final Fantasy game can beat this I think the only Final Fantasy games that are my favorite are FFX, FF15 and maybe FF7 I'm not sure about FF7 but FF15 and FFX are my only favorite FF games ever in my opinion and the only FF game that I've ever watched the whole way through was FF15 and the ending credits song for FF15 is so beautiful FFX's ending credits is not my favorite only FF15's so overall the story and ending I'd give it to FFX for the ending credits and the final battle with Ardyn Izuna I'd give it to FF15

Man...Yuna is one of the greatest development character in Final Fantasy, she knew what she signed up for and how her life would end. But tragically it was quite the opposite, it was the loved ones she lost like her Aeons, Auron, and most of all Tidus..Greatest Final Fantasy game ending in any franchise...It’s a bittersweet ending but damn what an ending! Ima act like X-2 didn’t exist.
You keep your calm very great after that i love you, then you just get broken apart man 😂. But i think that's normal, this ending is very bittersweet. Tidus succeeded in saving Spira and his love, yet he also knows that he have to fade away after that. One of best story ever!

For the emotion of love and heartache is never a dream freed fromt eh chains of eternal slumber the Sin of the past vanishes leaving behind the memories of the new Never forget, never stop t cherihs. Thosoe people close to one FFX, certainly have its flaws in some parts. But the story it carries is stillt eh poetic voice that says nto all dreams are merry but our destinies are our stories When we decide to make them The emotion is real, let the tears shed for it will never be forgotten.
Yea even though Tidus fades away, the love between them is something that can never disappear. She will always have that in her heart. And that goes for anyone that has lost someone they love 💯
There’s lore behind it but in terms of gameplay jecht final aeon is the real final boss after that it’s just basically a playable cutscene with the aeons and yu yevon
I couldn't play nothing else after this game for awhile... 12 was my favorite until I played 10. The themes of death in the game hits harder than even Persona 3.

Dont feel bad prolly one of the best ending in any medium perfect hero's journey the father who left whom who the son hated only to find out he just cudnt cme home the honor bound friend who come to protect the son the fight to the death with the father to release him from suffering to save a woman u love from the same fate and then the fading away with the sacrifice to bypass the uh universe for a few seconds to hold the woman u love who watches ur back as u jump off the edge of the ship into tr he afterlife past her father and his friend to low five the father who smiling happy to see his son on his terms...powerful
What you saw was gonna be ffx-3 but they scrapped it... Yuna & tidus are ok she just said this thing's cuz she is gonna fight sin alone with out tidus why?... Cuz she afraid be will disappear on her again so she pushed him away thinking of he was nowhere near her or sin he won't vanish..... It was just to protect him she was never in love with someone else... And as for the kid he is a sender the closest thing to a summoner he got what you a what aiming for and decided to help her and his bff was gonna be in the way hence why he said that.... It's messed up that thu scrapped it.... Now.we will never know...

I feel sad on the whistling part scene 35:14 at the pier as well because Tidus taught Yuna the whistle and promised Yuna that whenever he heard her whistling, he will run back to her no matter where he is.. and Yuna wanna try it to see if he kept his promised yet she knows he cant be back anymore. This scene of the pier match the ending credit scene 44:16 as Tidus did heard the whistle and came swimming up... in case anyone is confused with the ending

Well I know I’m late here but here’s what I know, the faith brought tidus back at the end of x2, yuna was informed that if tidus was ever aware of how he was brought back then he would disappear for good so she breaks up with him. As war breaks out tidus kicks a blitz ball that was actually a bomb and that kills him. Now I’ve heard rumors that him an yuna had a child so yea that’s all the stuff I’ve heard about why she did what she did hope that helps. And yes I could be wrong but that’s what I’ve heard
You are not over emotional as the way I've seen it men cry too just not as much and they usually try not to do it around others but the ending to this game will make anyone with a loving heart cry

What a beautiful game I don't think FF7, FF15 and any other Final Fantasy game can beat this I think the only Final Fantasy games that are my favorite are FFX, FF15 and maybe FF7 I'm not sure about FF7 but FF15 and FFX are my only favorite FF games ever in my opinion and the only FF game that I've ever watched the whole way through was FF15 and the ending credits song for FF15 is so beautiful FFX's ending credits is not my favorite only FF15's so overall the story and ending I'd give it to FFX for the ending credits and the final battle with Ardyn Izuna I'd give it to FF15

Man...Yuna is one of the greatest development character in Final Fantasy, she knew what she signed up for and how her life would end. But tragically it was quite the opposite, it was the loved ones she lost like her Aeons, Auron, and most of all Tidus..Greatest Final Fantasy game ending in any franchise...It’s a bittersweet ending but damn what an ending! Ima act like X-2 didn’t exist.

You keep your calm very great after that i love you, then you just get broken apart man 😂. But i think that's normal, this ending is very bittersweet. Tidus succeeded in saving Spira and his love, yet he also knows that he have to fade away after that. One of best story ever!

Yeah the Aeon killing part is unnecessarily drawn out, and Yu Yevon is the weirdest "final boss" as well.
There’s lore behind it but in terms of gameplay jecht final aeon is the real final boss after that it’s just basically a playable cutscene with the aeons and yu yevon

Dont feel bad prolly one of the best ending in any medium perfect hero's journey the father who left whom who the son hated only to find out he just cudnt cme home the honor bound friend who come to protect the son the fight to the death with the father to release him from suffering to save a woman u love from the same fate and then the fading away with the sacrifice to bypass the uh universe for a few seconds to hold the woman u love who watches ur back as u jump off the edge of the ship into tr he afterlife past her father and his friend to low five the father who smiling happy to see his son on his terms...powerful
What you saw was gonna be ffx-3 but they scrapped it... Yuna & tidus are ok she just said this thing's cuz she is gonna fight sin alone with out tidus why?... Cuz she afraid be will disappear on her again so she pushed him away thinking of he was nowhere near her or sin he won't vanish..... It was just to protect him she was never in love with someone else... And as for the kid he is a sender the closest thing to a summoner he got what you a what aiming for and decided to help her and his bff was gonna be in the way hence why he said that.... It's messed up that thu scrapped it.... Now.we will never know...
