I already ordered my 12 Pro Pacific blue 256gb, the Pro is just way more comfortable than the Max. Battery life really isn’t an issue , both will last the whole day, speaking about the cameras there is no difference at all. For me, the choice was between comfort (PRO) and a larger display, but not as comfortable as the pro (MAX).
Hey guys, I have used the 12 Pro Max for almost two months and my brother went for the 12 Pro. Even though I love big phones, I regret getting this Iphone since it is heavy (with case like 250 g) and it has caused me thumbs and wrist pain I never had. I wish I had known that...

I like the 12 Pro size but returned mine for a 12 Pro Max. I want the best camera and literally all day battery life. I got to force myself in using this huge chunk
I wanted smaller so I went 12 Pro. I am not the least bit disappointed with it. I'm not a 'Power User' so the battery lasts all day and then some. For me, it's just right.
I got the regular 12 Pro because I felt that the Max version was too big and heavy for my hands. Also, I feel that the real "Pro" model of this year's lineup is the 12 Pro Max because it has far better battery and camera technology compared to the base Pro model.
Coming from the 11 Pro Max, I chose the 12 Pro because of the size. The 12 Pro Max has gotten too heavy and too long to fit in my pants pocket. My brother and his wife needed newer phones, so my husband and I opted to upgrade. It's a win, win for us all. 😃 Thank you for the video, Aaron.
I got the 12 Pro Max based on the camera specs and the fact that I had a 11 Pro Max and liked the size. Although the 12 Pro Max is just a hair larger, it is palpably heavier IMHO. I have yet to hear one reviewer who has seen photos from both say that they could tell a difference other than the 12 Pro Max “telephoto” lens has a longer reach. I think if I had it to do all over again, I would have gone for the 12 Pro and enjoyed the smaller size. In these COVID times, I don’t travel like I used to and battery life isn’t a big deal since I’m always near a charger.
I have the XS Max in the 256GB in space gray right now and am deciding if I sholuld get the 12 Pro or the 12 Pro Max. Is the 12 Pro Max have way better battery than the XS Max?
Bought the 12 pro max 512g pacific blue. (Still waiting for arrival) got $440 trade in for my red iphone Xr. My decision factors are: 1.) The camera(photography has been my hobby for more than 50 years) 2.) The larger screen size... big fingers and old eyes demanded it I did not like the rounded edges of the Xr, and I love the lidar on my iPad pro, so wanted that on the phone as well
Wi-Fi most definitely. Unless you stay in one spot with full strength LTE the difference in battery life theoretically would be higher since LTE is technically more efficient data transfer rate wise than home based AX ( 6 ) Wi-Fi. But that’s all lab controlled of course in reality most people experience 10-15% worse battery life over LTE because connection is never 100% strong. Out an about. It all depends on where you live. For me I get 75-89% LTE signal saturation highest I’ve seen was for a few minutes at 96% pretty much fizzled out as soon as it registered. The constant drop in connection strength is why it uses more power in the long run.
Got the Pro max and ended up returning it for the regular pro. Max is way too big and I travel in the subway and buses a lot and its so annoying using the max while standing. You could use it one handed but its not as comfortable and I dont feel confident just using it one handed so its almost always a 2 handed phone. I had the max for about a week and a half, screen on time wasn't 12 hours lol... It was more like 9 hours for me. The Pro was about 6-6.5hrs and you do notice the difference but imo id rather have a better handling phone than half an iPad in my pocket which you can't even multitask on.
If you don’t like big phone’s I recommend the pro but if you don’t mind pro max is better, I upgraded from the 8plus and its just a cm bigger so i dont mind

Tomorrow I’m getting my iPhone 12 Pro which I feel is perfect for everyday use and is practical. It’s all down to personal preferences.

I have the pro max and I really think it’s almost too big. I love the display and have really no complaints with the phone (minus the wish for promotion). I’m a big guy (6’4) and sometimes I even feel overwhelmed using it one handed. If I wouldn’t have gotten the pro max I definitely would’ve tried the mini.
I’ve just upgraded to the iPhone 12pro max. 128gb Space Grey Graphite. Moving from a 6plus. Identical foot print. But wow. The 12pro max is awesome. Here’s hoping this will last me 6 years too. 👍🏻
Come on I am getting 9 to 10’hours on my 12 pro with a lot of games, RUclips and movie streaming. It has performed almost close to my iPhone 11 prop max.
If your considering buying an iPad but would use it mainly for media consumption and not too much for productivity, you might be fine using just an iPhone 12 Pro Max with its generous screen size. That would save a lot of money and might be a reason to consider the Pro Max over the Pro.
Got the iPhone 12 Pro with 128 GB. Since everything is closed right now (live in Germany), I unfortunately couldn't hold both phones in my hands for comparison. I settled for the smaller one since I like to have my phone on me when I go climbing. It basically needs to fit into my climbing pants under the harness. I think for sports the smaller screen is better since the surface area is smaller and less prone to damage. Very happy with this phone. One more thing to consider: If you got relatively big hands, the max won't feel awkward to hold, if you got tiny hands, definitely go for the smaller version.
Ordered my 12 pro a week ago. Still three more until it gets here :/ I’m upgrading from the Xr. So as long as the battery is still the same I’m going to be quite pleased. I want more ram so my camera doesn’t always kill the other apps and have me reload them
Yh debating wether to upgrade from my XR - next 2 weeks my contract runs out. So could delay it until iphone 13 release to see to get that or 12 Pro Max? What suggestions guys? Or 12 pro? 🙄
Honestly I went with the 12 pro because the pro Max is way to big for my hands, from the reviews I’ve seen I can’t really tell the difference between the cameras tbh and the only thing I really like is the battery life from the pro max
What case do u use? I need an all black case that covers the bottom too I like the leather rugged case by nomad but might look for a slimmer case But this case has awesome protection. Did you get the phone yet? I don’t like the look of the square edges I would’ve got 11 pro
I personally have no trouble with the pro max... even with small hands. I went from a 7 to this and I love it it’s not as bad as people make it! Go for it the battery life so great.
Getting the pro max for the screen size is kind of redundant because the extra screen real estate is not utilized in any way whatsoever. The battery would be the only reason to get the pro max over the pro, I previously went with the Pro Max every year for the size, but it felt like a waste every time, so now I just go Pro.
Kinda agree. But I read a lot of stuff and occasionally have to sign things etc when I don’t have my iPad so the bigger screen helps with that. Not having true multitasking is definitely a ripoff though.
I looked at the iPhone 12 Pro Max last week and it was essentially the same size as my iPhone 6s Plus which I have had for five years. Don’t believe it will be a problem.
I've had the 12 Pro Max for about 6 months and I am currently downgrading. At first the size is a learning curve but after a while, you will notice how the weight and size are a big negative. I have noticed pain in my pinky finger from supporting the phone, so much so that my main hand is now slightly deformed. My pinky now naturally is further away from my ring finger than my other hand by comparison by a good amount. I noticed also with summer, having to fit the Pro Max in my short pockets looks absolutely ridiculous. Most of the time when I sit down the phone just falls out as well. Long story short: If you are buying a phone to use as a phone, get the Pro. If you are buying a phone for entertainment/ and have a bag to carry it, get the Pro Max. I can not stress enough how cumbersome it is to carry the Pro Max around in your hand or small pockets. I am turning in my Pro Max for the Pro.
I'm picking up my iPhone 12 Pro Max today. I chose the 512gb pacific blue; your color choice is what drove me to watch your video. I'm giving my wife my 11 pro max, and we'll trade up every two years. I don't believe that technology changes much in a year. So the next time, I'll get an iPhone 14 and I'll give my wife my 12. The only thing I'm really impressed with is the camera; however, I'm a professional photographer. I own a Nikon D5 which cost $6800.00 new. So two things: Apple will never be able to get all of the features that are available in a really good DSLR in a phone and most people don't understand photography. They take pictures and I capture images. What I would suggest to viewers of your channel is to do a little research on composition and you can get awesome images with the phone! Thank you very much; very informative!
Interesting comment. As a photographer myself I can only agree. I mainly do light paintings that require an open shutter etc. The sensor is one thing, but when it comes to lenses, there is no compromise. I am kinda blown away by the quality of the 12 pro. Having 3 lenses instead of digital zoom is definitely a plus. I'm very passionate about photography, but this phone truly impresses me. Especially a macro shot in low light... not bad at all.
I would be leaning more to the pro max if it wasn't so bulky and heavy. I have a note 10 plus and I feel it's already on the cusp of being too big. I plan on getting a regular pro and using a tablet for media lol
I bought the Max and am so tempted to exchange it for the 12 pro. This thing is just way too big and heavy sometimes, and I’m a decently strong dude lol. It’s enough to be uncomfortable using it sometimes. Does anyone think that camera difference is REALLY worth it?

Hi, how are you finding the size, is the pro max not too big / heavy?
I already ordered my 12 Pro Pacific blue 256gb, the Pro is just way more comfortable than the Max. Battery life really isn’t an issue , both will last the whole day, speaking about the cameras there is no difference at all. For me, the choice was between comfort (PRO) and a larger display, but not as comfortable as the pro (MAX).

Why do you call him Arron as if you actually know him. “L smith”
This is the best comparison I've ever seen.
Got the Pro Max. Still watching to decide. Really wanted the Mini or Pro but like I told you on Twitter: the eyesight decided for me.
I upgraded from a 7plus to a 12pro max, so the size of the phone itself didn’t really bother me. But the display size is hard to get used to 😅
12 Pro Max 256 GB in Graphite, replacing a two year old XS Max 256 GB in Space gray. Love the longer battery life, it is a bit heavier though.

@@ChanceIzLit I would wait till iphone 13. Not a huge upgrade from XS max
Bought the 12 pro max 512g pacific blue. (Still waiting for arrival) got $440 trade in for my red iphone Xr. My decision factors are:
1.) The camera(photography has been my hobby for more than 50 years)
2.) The larger screen size... big fingers and old eyes demanded it
I did not like the rounded edges of the Xr, and I love the lidar on my iPad pro, so wanted that on the phone as well
When he says 11 or 12 hours of screen on time ..he means when connected to excellent WiFi right? Not LTE or 5G??
Same here
I am still confused, so I come to cmt section 😁
If you don’t like big phone’s I recommend the pro but if you don’t mind pro max is better, I upgraded from the 8plus and its just a cm bigger so i dont mind

Just recently got the 12 pro max after having the 6plus for a year. Super happy with switching😅

I like the leather rugged case by nomad but might look for a slimmer case
But this case has awesome protection.
Upgraded from 8 plus to a 12 PRO MAX. Absolutely love it!!!
Same same but I’m getting the pro
Thx good to know
