I love how excited you are about nursing. You did an amazing job of explaining everything you did, I could visualize it easily. You got a new Subscriber!
First I want to thank you for not gate keeping this! There’s so many, like myself, that are looking for other fields of nursing outside of direct bedside care. I recently had to resign from my position on the PCU trauma step down unit because of a change in family dynamic. How can I apply for a job like this?
Idk if you found anything yet, but try nurse fern & flex jobs. I applied for a job on flex jobs and I got an interview as a remote case manager. It’s not want I wanted by I cannot work bedside right now. Good luck
They started implementing this at many hospitals, including the one I'm at. What I think what's messed up, they don't offer the position to the employees, they outsourcing for those roles.
If they offer these positions to the nurses working on the units then they are taking the only staff they had to do bedside care away. The way retention and staffing shortages are in the hospitals it will be a challenge to replaced those nurses. So they outsource to keep their existing bedside staff.
Hi Ava ,glad came across your channel. I live in the Uk and I’m interested in Virtual Nursing. Do you get a chance to patient face like seen them from their homes to administer injections etc or it’s strictly virtual ?
hey, do you think it would be possible to do a remote job like this while working nights on a psych ward? I could theoretically be making like $80/hr as a rn straight out of school
