I knew a guy with a small car lot. He intentionally stuck with the basic, low-dollar vehicles because when it's under $5K, they will likely buy it with cash in pocket. I went through the dealer certification course in NC (I didn't end up in that line of work), but the instructor said if we wanted to make money in the car biz, he suggested a 'Buy Here, Pay Here' option for our customers. It's a cash cow. Unlike the famous Niko Brothers, most buyers purchase based on the monthly payment, not the total cost.
All the naysayers complaining about these walkarounds just need to chill a bit. These are very educational and informative if you are ever going to bid for these cars. Mike actually imparts a lot of good common sense and knowledge throughout the video worth taking on board. I enjoy the rebuilds more but don’t mind these walkarounds 😁
Mike wouldn't what a RED 1968 Ford Fairlane was if HE saw one . SCRUBS still say NIKO BROS. OTAY |
Another excellent video. keep up the good work guys
Awesome… keep this content coming.
I hope Copart are paying these guys for all the free advertising generated by these walkarounds 😆
Get them next time
The vehicles are marked up by the body shop for the adjusters. Copart isn’t marking up damage
Here in UK some Copart facilities seem to take pictures carefully to minimise the amount of damage shown in photo's. Often it's difficult to see if airbags are blown or not. Not good when they don't allow viewing at UK Copart facilities anymore.
@@SalvageMasterEssex exactly, they are in the business of selling as many cars as possible so marking them up is against their interest. The better the car looks the higher the bid and their cut
👍
Maybe 26-27k once fixed it’ll sell needs 3-4k into it plus fees ect your looking at 22-23 range not worth it imo but goodluck man love watching your videos !
❤❤
I’d like to see the build on that 4Runner
4Runners sell for big bucks. I'm sure you will make a decent profit on this one. I am looking forward to the build videos on it.
Please remind us again about the web site you use which shows auction sales history with final bid/sold prices.
That Toyota for $18K looked like there was lots of meat on the bone to make some dollars. After expenses are you looking to clear $5K on these vehicles?
How tf are you guys finding cash buyers for 20-30k $ r title cars
in this economy
Banks will finance these cars
Not everyone is broke, I bought a 75K Audi last month in cash
@@Uberslavewithabmw ive sold them too but it takes a long time even priced well, especially right now. Hard to finance I've had people come with checks from USAA only.
@@quezlee7946 didn’t know there were any banks financing restored title branded vehicles
When did branded title cars go from 1/3 retail to in excess of 50% retail????
Would love to know how much the red Fairlane went for
Great vid but not a great price. I think that you and your brother needs to do the bidding together to keep each other in check and not get caught up in the fever.
Excelente tercer comentario saludos desde México
The problems your having with cars is that you guys and everyone else are promoting co part so much that anyone thinks they can go in buying fixing and selling things. This is bringing lots of in experienced buyers to the auction flooding it with over the top bids. Keep up the good work from Paul at ptcreations youtube
Yes I agree 100% with that. Happening here in UK too with so many RUclipsrs promoting buying from Copart.
Getting a little weary of all these scrap car walk throughs, the restoration is the interesting part for me. I'll wait till you put out a repair video next time....
See yaaaa
@@XX-166keep sucking 😂
Crazy to keep seeing people bidding like crazy like it’s 2022 😂 really don’t understand how can anyone bid even up to 50% of ACV 🤯
OK it was a 1967 .
Do you guys ever have issues selling cars with salvage titles?
That's to much for a wrecked car
Does Copart allow you to bring in your personal booster packs?? If so, why not always have one. They're light weight and easy to carry.
I don’t think they let you. I’ve seen other channels and they usually have to ask employees for one .
@@stephenrussell9518 that's a shame.
Personally, I think it takes nerves of steel to do these auctions, especially not being on site.
You can pay to have a vehicle inspected there.
The reason why Nissans (like the dubious Maxima you bid on) have a third or a fourth the value of an equivalent Toyota is because they all have weak and or dying trasmissions. No Nissan made after 2000 is worth even glancing at due to lousy transmissions.
These dudes ship these cars offshore. No way they make money flipping for salvaged title sales. Why don’t they show rebuilds anymore…they don’t.
Maybe Copart are sponsoring these walkarounds so no need to repair anything now 🤣🤣
More Nikopart boring laziness. 👎🏾
Where’s your channel???!
Every video this clown has something negative to say, just go away already
