Wow, at some point I thought that gray had gotten this game. With blue at his side and determined to sacrifice himself for his friend. Also I thought that gray would die first or second because of his geography, but he managed to take advantage out of it. And I also didn't expect the least diplomatic person at the start of the game to win! Green/orange aliance made this game really interesting and surprising. :)
T90 Blind was real in this one.
Oeeeh what about a mod that enables stronger alliances?
For example:
- Propose alliance for XXX minutes & you can't break it until it runs out
- Propose alliance + a fee for breaking the alliance. (for example 1000 gold or 2k food) The alliance-breaker pays the amount to the other.
That would be aswesome.
from a gameplay perspective this was a 5 out of 10. but with the diplomacy and the chatting it became a 10 out of 10

Blue definitely needed more experience. Could've easily switched to Wonder, a billion castles and all navy.
I think he made that move with the king deliberately to spice the game. I've seen a lot of island defences with large navies and wonders, but moving out with the king to try and win for another person is something else. Unexpected, but respectable. And made the game funny. 11

I have no experience/little knowledge in this game and what I'm about to say might not have been viable to begin with. But why didn't blue bum rush green's king with navy, and transport a few troops, have grey push into greens main base/house/eco? That would've allowed to blue to blow that all up, they'd have to rebuild to stabilize, in turn buying time for grey to wipe or something. Why was blue just wondering about with his king?
Edit: Never mind, continued to watch vid and T90 pointed it out and blue apparently had pathing issues...

Lou played perfectly, using low elo players to defend himself, while being aggressive the entire game, then the house wall thing... No respect for players like that.
This was a throw from blue unfortunately. Clearly had the best strats until he rushed the gameplan and got his king stuck in enemy territory. Could have easily destroyed green on the little sliver of land and orange was never really a true threat to anyone except green himself but was too loyal to betray him early. GG blue!
