Congratulations, another video of yours well done and very explanatory.
Tried it today and it still works. Altho I had a different spawn. It was in the courtyard. 5 second run, popped cat walk and suppa, ran behind Hanzo and backstabbed him. An hour and a half and got 20 droplets of decay, 13 smithing texts and 7 bells. A good haul IMO. I really needed those droplets thanks.
You forgot about one important thing, 1:17 the light of the room you spawn in needs to be Cyan/Light blue, if its orange Hanzo will not spawn.

@@marlcc6458 He doesn't always show, and if he is not in that location you need to quit and go to abyss again. I'm grinding those texts right now and it does work but I had to enter abyss about 7-8 times to start from that location and with Hanzo there. Once I got location right but Hazno wasn't there.

For people still trying this on patch 1.22 i spawned at the door of the boss (giant toad in the normal mission) and still found hanzo at his location so look for him if you spawn in the same starting point as me.
Also before entering the abyss floor 4 (main map) save the game then use save scuming if you don't find him to save some cups
hey wassup bro. yea you’re right. but so far iv managed to only get a few smithing text. i thought he would drop all of them. i think the amount of text does stop. i honestly was looking for fuku because she drops the bloodstained duel swords text. but i cant find her.

Dude, i see your amrita changing everytime you use the talisman to drop back to the shrine. This means that u cut the videos only in the parts you drop the Smithing Text. You will never gonna be able to drop 1 smithing text for each hanzo you kill.
Nice find. I thought i was doing it wrong because i killed hanzo around 20x but havent dropped 1 single text.
His luck and item drop stats are OP right? I only have 280luck 55item drop and 44 human item drop and I get a text 1out of every 3-4 kills
He never said anything about it being a guaranteed drop.

solution for no Hanzo, man with guns. it happened to me too. what i did is, on the main map, i tried different armours (no pirate, no susano or amaterasu) just the ones i use usually. then i went to the abyss, the 2nd floor, defeated the excutioner and chose leave the abyss. then i went back to the abyss, floor 36, defeated Hino Enma and choose leave the abyss. now on the map i equipped the pirate armours and went to Abyss 4th floor. the shrine was not the right one but Hanzo was there, so i left and when i came back, there was a man with guns. after 3 tries, i got Hanzo with the right shrine. and after 30 mins of killing Hanzo, i was able to get smithing texts.
P.S. you could just try killing Hino Enma at the 36th floor and see if it going to work.

1 : why must be that shine ? i get the other shine nearby and saw hanzo will it's work ?
2 : will this work on way of strong or demon ?
i guess that shrine because it is easier to kill Hanzo from the above, so my guess it will work if you get the other shrine if you wish to fight against Hanzo.
and at the abyss, it does not mattee way of the nioh or the wise. the only think matter is the level you reached.

Did they nerf this? I’ve been farming Hanzo for 30min now and he hasn’t dropped a single smithing text for me. I have somewhat close to your numbers in luck, item and human item drop rate.

It has been nerfed or the youtuber was lying. I have 92% item droprate + 127% human item droprate +650 luck. 11 smithing texts in 2 hours. 1 text every 11 minutes. I need to kill hanzo 27 times to get one. My stats are higher than his character in the video. We are far from 1 smithing text every 20 seconds. All this with the hunter blessing and the kodama bowl 😉

What exactly happens when you get these? I dont know how this game fully works yet.
Luck +355, Murakami member luck+46(14), Itokuri and Saoirse as Spiriths, 5x pirat gear, luck fokus 200, LVL 750 have all missions done. item drop+88,6%, human drop+98,1%, gear drop +35,4%, human gear drop +36,7%, item dropp living weapon +29,4%, luck living weapon +99. Find Hanso in neon-blue light aria, same start point. It's not working. 2 texts in 2 hours.

curious, have you compared it against "Child of the Sun" set?
Ryuu Ji ...yeah...I did test with all luck set in game...the best for every drop is "pirate armors" with Murakami clan and kodama bowl.

Grumbel Bumbel ...hanzo in abyss liv 4 is extreme easy to kill...he have less life than hanzo in way of the samurai...use a talisman for power up your attack...or upgreade your level little more before try again

does anyone know if Hanzo drops the gold Nioh armor smithing text in complete edition on ps4? I know you can get it on the PC but what about the ps4?
SuperSlifer2010 when you pray at a shrine, select 'boons' & download it. That's how I got it👍

I think there are some texts he can't drop. My smithing text collection hit 94.6% and hanzo stopped dropping any more.

sintes it works dude u have to try many times and u have to see the white light near the shrine (with orange one just a ninja with hand canon) and the other shrine near the stairs maybe u can find hanzo also

Yes its work. I farm 3 days 3 or 4h each. Now I have almost all text. Sometimes when I farm i have 3 text in a row by killing Hanzo ( kill Hanzo, kill Hanzo etc) after this no result maybe 10/15 minutes and again 1 till 2 or 3 text
Btw Im on 1.21 patch. I try everything on 1.00 but max its way of the strong.... after all main and sub missions no next ng+

does not work any more, when you use the onmyo tal it boots you from the mission same with the sword aswell.
