    Thanks Anthony! Used your great ideas with a few little tweaks (wooden shovel shafts). My Ridgid (R4210) locks in like a champ!

    You're an absolute genius and I'm glad I stumbled upon this video, I've been wracking my brain on how I would hang my saw on the wall and get it off the floor!

    Once again, the best ideas are the simplest. I was so over thinking a storage solution. Thank you very much.

    Great video! I just mounted using 1" black gas pipe and elbows. Would not have thought of this without your video. Thanks

    I googled wall stand and this video came up. Now I don't have to buy one, I can make it now. Thank you!

    Finally found a great video on a wall mount like this. I’ve been kicking the idea around for awhile but it’s nice to have an example to work off of. Thanks! Also, Go Vols!

    It's interesting to see your videos since you're doing the same things I want to do. I truly appreciate that you take the time to make the videos, as I know how much time it takes to do a video. 5 minutes of content takes about 4 hours to do. :) Keep up the great work, and the details (which you do) are important and often overlooked.

    Great idea. Trying to clean up my garage as well, or get as bunch off the ground as possible using dead space. Did you contemplate hanging that utility cart w/ the saw still attached? That was my original thought to do, but this gives me a backup if thats a bad idea.

    Thanks! Looked everywhere for this! I have a Dewalt miter saw. Can I use the rigid mounts and a rigid miter stand? Or would these mounts fit on a Dewalt stand?

    • @TheVintageEngineer

      I think the Dewalt doesn’t have round bars like the Rigid and others. .

      Exactly. I'm looking to see if anyone has tried using a sliding mitre saw that is mounted vertically on a wall (like a panel saw). Has anyone tried it?

    Any reason not to leave it on the stand fold up against the wall? After-all, you’ll still need to store the stand. Only concern is the angle of the blade on the stand when upright. Not sure if the weight of the saw at an angle will cause it to lose 90 degrees?

    • @TheVintageEngineer
      @TheVintageEngineer  Год назад

      I’ve got the stand up high on the wall as well. So both are off the ground, saving space.

    • @TheVintageEngineer
      @TheVintageEngineer  Год назад +1

      I can lift the stand by itself, but adding the saw is too much to lift all at once.

      @@kehlmeier thanks, did this as well using your idea. For anyone in the future 1-1/4in spaced about 5.5in center to center works great for ryobi mounts. I tried 5.75in at first but it looked a little too wide so I went with my gut on the 5.5in
