EXACTLYYYY. it's crazy how people make her so insecure... makes me so sad cause i understand the feeling. and she's so talented i hope one day she feel more confident with herself. she sings amazing live tho
I forgot she used to sing this way, its so wild and expressive, I kind of missed it. and I realised Lana now sounds more shy than Lana at the beginning.
This really was a lifetime ago... I can't believe it..... But after being ripped to shreds can u blame her for changing her singing style? It's still similar now but not as wild and sounds more palatable. Not everyone enjoys this style :(
she had more vocal stamina then, she can sustain notes in all registers of her voice. Now she can only really sustain notes in her upper lighter mix (like ariana, but ariana has INTENSE vocal stamina and can make her voice BIG)
her stage presence reminds me of amy winehouse here. no need for anything, minimal set, no dancers nothing. all eyes are on here because she’s so enigmatic. God I wish I could turn back time. I’d pay so much to see Lana at the start of her career.
@@bunnyskiddadle1477 somewhat yeah. in the beginning it seemed she wanted to be singer/performer badly and gave her all, nowadays often i get the feel that shes bored on stage and lazy, like she doesnt want to be there.

If she is taking care of herself vocally, good diet rest, and vocal care regimen (even a coach), her voice shouldn't be getting any weaker and she shouldn't have to change the way she sings so dramatically to protect it
32 is not that old vocally speaking. The vocal cords are actually one of the last to begin aging, they don't begin to age until you are 60/65. But yes your voice does deeper gradually with age

She comes from the same well that brought us Leonard Cohen and Don McLean. She is tapped into the 'creative flow' which you will recognise if you're a scientist, painter, musician or anyone who is creative. It is when you are 'the tool' and something bigger flows through you. Paul Simon talked about it on a radio interview a while back. James Clerk Maxwell, the father of electromagnetism also talked about it. That is why people are so entranced. It is the collective consciousness we share.

Best live of Off the Races.

Absolutely! And this concert was even before the track's original studio release, which I think was December 2011. I guess she mentioned it.
I love the way she say "I'm your scarlet, starlet, singin' in the garden"
