Absolutely true, I have been using realme GT Neo 2 till now since it's release which was about 1 Year and 8 months ago and my device uses 65W fast charging and so far in these 1 Year and 8 Months my devices battery have slightly degraded, like when it was brand new it gave about 10 hours of constant battery for normal usage and some BGMI gaming at high settings and still gives 9-9.5 hours today, which is common on almost all devices.

@@blaze26700 yeah it does drain about 35% and the rest 65% last me about 7-8 hours with ease, and some smartphones does have defects and I am speaking from experience, before I bought GT Neo 2 I used Redmi Note 7 Pro which used to drain about 50% battery when I played PUBG at high settings on it for 2 hours but about 1 year after I bought Redmi Note 7 Pro it started to drain 80% battery for playing PUBG at medium settings, it clearly had some huge battery draining issue. And like I mentioned there are other factors that drain the battery faster, it can be something as simple as a widget that can drain your battery, and I always clear my RAM and just so you know apps like Facebook and many others consume your RAM and battery 24*7 if you don't properly clear, and I am talking about some deep cleaning not just closing it from the RAM tab.

Neo 2 has a good battery backup but not the best. What is important is the screen on time. If I don't play BGMI, It gives me around 6-7 hours of screen on time. I recently bought Neo 6 and because it's more optimised, it drains less battery compared to Neo 2, Also it drains 7-8% battery at night in Ideal mode compared to Neo 6, it drains 4-5%.
I'm using realme 5 pro for more than 3 years and it has vooc charging and still battery is running strong, and yes i only charge mobile when its down to 20%

It does damage the battery. My friend and I bought Oneplus Nord and Samsung s10 lite on same day 3 years 2 months ago. Both phone have 4500mah. Nord was never used for gaming or any stressfull apps. But S10 lite I used for timelapses, gaming,etc. Nord has 30w charger and Samung just 15w. Samsung still gives 4.5hrs SOT but nord only manages 2hrs SOT now. Not only that i have seen people still using 5w charger to save battery health and the ones using 20w have battery health drop really fast.

Sir my phone is Vivo t1 pro 5g which supports 66W fast charging as my cable got bit damaged i brought other usb cable supporting the same though it worked but unfortunately it affected my battery backup leading to draning a bit faster than before is it possible to get fixed by resetting it or need to get it replaced?
