Look mama I finally made it on TV LOL Well at least my car did. Hey I got nothing but love for y'all. thanks for the help and kick ass work on my car!!
Love how Mikey aka the owner of the shop isn't a desk jockey barking orders like we see at a lot of custom shops!!! Very cool how he gets out with the guys and just crushes it with the best of them!!! As always keep killin it and cant wait for the next vid!!!!
We love the thought of you calling someone up to be like "yeah... I got an emergency I gotta handle this morning. I'm gonna be there 30 minutes late!" lol Thanks for all the support. We can't thank you enough!
Sweet. Great vid. Can't wait for more vids on this 55. Clear coat patina looks great. No half ass work in this shop. Pleasure to watch u all fabricating and welding skills.
Just a suggestion start your plasma cut in the center of your bolt hole then go out to cut your ring for your bolt. It will prevent the blow out of the outer ring. Dang I love watching you guys build killer stuff!
Why why why this channel only have 167K Subs? They are extremely talented, professional and funny. Everything they do is like, wow. If I could subscribe again i would!
We're just happy that there's 167,000 people who like what we do! If you want to help us out, share the channel with your friends. But as long as you keep tuning in every week, we'll be here working!
Best explained fabrication projects on RUclips. This channel is awesome , from the rides, editing and the all around relaxed approach. Pleasure to watch🤙🏻
Hay guys I just love the fabrication work your doing on the cars especially the 55, to me the only American car I've ever liked. Keep on doing what your doing and stay safe.
Mike and Tim the S2S bag 💼 men! Great improvement over the old style bags! Can’t wait to see the next update! Thanks Mike and Tim for sharing your time on this build !
Great episode, and good job explaining everything that helps alot with people learning fabrication skills. I wish the was a shop around me that was capable of air suspension and fabrication. Nice work
A lot of fabrication vids on RUclips. Pleasure to watch you all do your thing. Make it look easy. Great content. Product reviews. Videos well done. Doesn't matter what your working on. Going to be done right and look bad as hell.
That's gonna be an AWESOME car when it's finished! He's got the right guys doing it for sure. I think he should do the interior blue & white factory like, but with a S2S twist!
You guys are the best car build channel on RUclips. Love that you are starting to blow up and get the recognition you deserve!👍 I look forward to the days when you have 1mil+ subscribers and can do sick projects just for the sake of doing sick projects!😁
Sick fab as always (although can someone buy Tim some push sticks for the bandsaw so he keeps his fingers lol!) Shame Australia is so far away as you're the guys I need to work on my 65 SS Nova. It's pretty but needs some of those fab skills to fix all the "Nova things" chassis and steering wise! ;)
You could buy Tim a truck load of push sticks and he'd still use his fingers! lol Thanks for all the support! If you're ever in Florida, shoot us a message on IG so we can try to get you into the shop to show you around!
This was a whole lot crammed in one show. Would love to see more of this build. Haven’t seen a car welded to frame, what’s the pro’s and con’s? Great shows!
If this was going to be a daily driver or something more performance based we'd definitely be taking angles into account a bit more. But JC's overall plan with this is to cruise to shows and rip burnouts. So we were more concerned with making sure the bags being place symmetrically and having a safe space to actuate. If the shock geometry looked WAY too extreme we would have reconsidered our placement, but everything fell into place pretty well so we weren't concerned!
I'd like to bag my 2019 VW Jetta, any idea how well airbag set ups handle in cold climates, as I live in Canada. Asking pros who may know before I consider dropping dough. great vid as always.
That is a great question but unfortunately we don't have the answer lol The coldest it gets down here in Florida is 60 degrees during the dead of winter. I would hit up the guys at Airlift! They'd definitely be able to give you the temperature tolerances on the materials they use!
It depends on how far you need to drop the body on the chassis. You're generally going to lose at least a couple inches to get the car sitting on the rockers when it's aired out.
Look mama I finally made it on TV LOL Well at least my car did. Hey I got nothing but love for y'all. thanks for the help and kick ass work on my car!!
Thanks for trusting us with your baby! We can't wait to see it ripping burnouts!

Sick ride! I have a 4 door ‘55 I’m doing soon as well. Who’s front clip did you use?
@@DudeDogandRV its scotts hotrods front clip.
@@JCCustomsCNC thanks! That’s who I had been looking at going with. Trying to decide now wether to clip it or do a full frame.
Legit ride

Watching the air bags raise and lower the body was a trip. Being in house to see it live would have been amazing!
it's always cool seeing exposed bags inflate on a ride!
You know you can’t be compared to the rest when even do owner craftsmanship is above and beyond 😱
It's all about the love of building around here! Thanks so much for watching and for the support!
MY GOD!!!!!! That is BAD ASS!!!!!! Dreams right there.
Glad you like it!
Done right, not right now. Love this work, you all are fantastic at what you do.
Thank you so much!
Just laying frame. Excited to see the finished car shredding
Oh hell yes! i cant wait to see this one evolve! this is my jam right here! lets get it!
Ive built lowriders since the Late 90's first with hydraulics later with air ride. i love this stuff!
The air ride is nice and simple, but there's nothing like a car on hydraulics!
Sweet. Great vid. Can't wait for more vids on this 55. Clear coat patina looks great. No half ass work in this shop. Pleasure to watch u all fabricating and welding skills.
Thank you!!
I like the thinking through an issue and coming up with an appropriate solution. Watch and learn young fabricators!
Tim! Mikey! Great job!
The best part about working on cars is that you never stop learning! Thanks for all the support!
Beautiful work boys

i love this project, good job man ;-)

Had to watch a few more times. So saweeet! What wheel, tire, and back space for the wheels. Thanks apprec. It
Thanks for watching!! Not sure on the specifics. You’d have to message JC customs Cnc on Instagram for that. But they are Detroit steel wheels!
“3 inches will be fine!”- Tim’s famous last words 😂
hahahaha!
Well done …. Another sweet ride leaves the shop !!!
Have you ever built any Chevy S10 trucks ???
We're actually considering one for a race truck next year!
@@SalvagetoSavage please make that happen !! Check out Kevin Phillips S10 on the Level 7 Motorsports channel !!
Do you just worry about clearance when finding the position of the shocks? Or is eventual rideability a factor too (as in comfort and handling)?
If this was going to be a daily driver or something more performance based we'd definitely be taking angles into account a bit more. But JC's overall plan with this is to cruise to shows and rip burnouts. So we were more concerned with making sure the bags being place symmetrically and having a safe space to actuate. That was a cool project. I thought you were going to weld some gussets on those brackets for strength.
Killer patina.
The shiny clear coat on top makes it look insane!

'do all the things.'
When you do a body drop like this how much head roon do you lose?
It depends on how far you need to drop the body on the chassis. You're generally going to lose at least a couple inches to get the car sitting on the rockers when it's aired out.
Bitchin' build guys. Too bad that is not a 2-door! Love your superb craftsmanship, quality videos and content.
Thanks so much! The 2 doors are cool, but JC's dream car has always been a 4 door bel air!
Gawd Dammmmmn that’s a mighty low sedan!!! Love the 4 Door!!! Is the patina original then cleared?
That is many many different coats of paint underneath that clear coat!
If there’s not going to be a back seat I’d weld the back doors shut and shave the door handles so you would have a sort of a 55 2 door
That's alot of awesome work right there boys! Just curious, what did that job set back JC dollar wise roughly?
It was a trade out for some large billet parts for a few of our builds!
