A girl that inspired me to become a Christian. She is super out of my league and I have social anxiety. I wanted to tell her that I really liked her but someone told her and now it is just really awkward between us. It's been like a year and I still like her.

Love, the perpetual energy machine of frustration and hurt.
Let me give you a piece of unconventional, yet Biblical advice just because I know your pain. It's a long read, but I think it'll really help you.
If you're longing for a spouse (the only reason to date), then God sees your heart and has a plan for you in regards to marriage ("For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11).
God knows how to give you a better gift than you can give yourself ("If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!" Matthew 7:11)
And, Paul the Apostle, who saw heaven itself ("I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven-whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows." 2 Corinthians 12:2, the Jewish people understood the 1st heaven to be the sky, second was outter space where stars and planets were, the third was considered the spiritual relm and Paul is boasting to show that boasting is foolish here (2 Corinth 12:1) would tell the Corinthians in his earlier letter, "But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”" ( 1 Corinth 2:9), and "Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,"( Ephesians 3:20), then it stands to reason God has much better than you can imagine for you.
Also, if God, who planned those who would be saved before the foundations of the Earth (Ephesians 1:4), and He foreknew those whom he would save (Romans 8:27-30, noticed it says "justified, glorified, past tense as if you were already there which we know your not because your still being justified but God sees you as Jesus's righteousness, 2 Corinthians 5:21), plus the fact that the term "covenant" was an unbreakable oath, not a contractual oath meaning that you as part of the new covenant (a redeemed Christian) makes it unbreakable. John the Apostle says that if the "They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us" (1 John 2:19) means that once you truly become a Christian, God will always make sure your salvation will be completed (2 Corinthians 1:22, Ephesians 1:11-14). Jesus refers to this when he talks about a wedding feast and the guest who wanted to be there but wasn't given a wedding garment (salvation, Galatians 3:27) and was thrown out into hell.
Considering Salvation is the most important decision in someone's life, as it has both life long consequences, and eternal consequences, the only choice that has such severe eternal ramifications, and the fact that God would make sure those who are ultimately His would come to Him and remain in Him ("All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. ** Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one" ** John 17:10-11), it's absurd to believe that God wouldn't grant this prayer, as Jesus is the one righteous man in this world and considering the Bible says the prayer of the righteous is "powerful and effective" (James 5:16). Not to mention, if we ask anything according to God's will, He will grant it (1 John 5:14), and Jesus said that the Father "gave him" those who are believers (John 17:6), so of course it's God's will we end up loving God, and God will somehow bring that about despite human free will.
So, my lengthy, unconventional argument to you is that if this is what the Bible clearly says about salvation, and that God chose you to end up loving him, and that that is the most important decision you could ever end up making, then maybe God also has every other decision you could ever make under his control after all. I mean, the Bible does say that he does know how to give better gifts to His sons than we do, and that He has a plan infinitely greater than what man can plan (i.e. you, me) and he cares for us ("Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) then God has to have a plan for you to get married to someone.
So you may be asking who then? I don't know. But I know God does know who, and in my experince, and watching others lives, it's far better waiting on the Lord. I want an amazing marriage and I know only God can grant me the perfect person to love, but also that only He can help me remain happily married. I also don't believe that God would allow me to pass this person off. I mean, if he really is sovereign which the Bible says He is ("I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted." Job 42: is just one of over 60 verses making it absolutely clear that he is in control, not to mention the numerous stories and prophecies), then he's not going to let me make the second biggest mistake of my life by waiting and hoping in the Lord. Why is marriage the second? Because it has lifelong implications in a way that no other decision does other than salvation. I just know her when I see her. I take it as faith, not based on human experince or logic and reasoning alone. The Bible is clear, and looking over my brief yet seeming long life of close to 30 years, every time I find someone I like, years later I see how God saved me from a disaster even though I didn't know it at the time because I wasn't ready to settle down.
As an encouragement to you, I recommend you really just speak to God about what your facing and ask for His help in overcoming. God doesn't want you to remain in the ashes of a life when He's got so much better out there. I know it's hard to see it right now, but trust me, it's so incredibly liberating and the joy is so extreme when I just choose to trust God and say "God, you know what's best, please choose for me, and help me be okay with it". Hang in there buddy, I'll be praying for you!
