Danny, found out theres a food truck called spuds and bros in Leeds that serve poutine. A Canadian delicacy. Chips with gravy and cheese curds. You NEED to try this out!
greek orange cake or (portokalopita) is made with phyllo or english filo scrunched up, then baked in the oven, an orange and cinnamon syrup is then added once its baked usually drizzled over when hot, love the food hes given all the time, wish hed come over to lancashire and try out ur foods
As a greek I can confirm that this is Portokalopita 'Πορτοκαλόπιτα'. It's made with real oranges and fylo pastry.. It's a syrupy dessert that's why its so moist and it lasts for many days. It is drizzled with orange syrup. Its delicious and so easy to make. Over bake it a bit so that the top gets nice and crunchy. Thats the best bit. Enjoy!

Tzatziki is yoghurt, cucumber and crushed garlic not sour cream. The orange cake may be polenta and yes you zest the peel into mix, polenta gives a very moist cake with different texture slightly grainy, then you make an orange syrup from freshly squeezed juice and sugar boiled down and pour it over when still hot and allow to stand to cool. I've made it is really lush and bonus is gluten free so great for parties/get-togethers/catering and freezes well to
