a long time ago I gave one "guitarist" a CD compilation of GEORGE's albums he came and said - there's nothing there I WAS SHOCKED - we never spoke again people who never wrote a song will say such things - Unbelievable! thank you GEORGE! this is from a musician!
Lucky you. A George Harrison concert in the 1990`s was a RARE thing. I`ve seen Paul McCartney live twice and that was fantastic. But i would have LOVED to see George as well.
George sempre.
I was aware of George playing live in Japan in 1991. I was counting down the minutes till he was gonna play in the USA........Never happened. I did get to see him in 1974 in Fort Worth Texas.
I missed that 1974 Tour... I lived in Connecticut and he played in Rhode Island. But it just so happened I spent the Summer of '74 with my girlfriend and her family at "Daytona Beach, FL. I was only 19yrs old at the time. I never got to see him. I did see Paul twice, and Ringo once. Back in 1977, I worked with a guy who who took his two daughters to see The Beatles at Shea Stadium in 1965. He was much older than me and was too old to appreciate the concert. His daughters Loved it. He just said he couldn't hear the music over the screaming. ) Hey, that's the way it was at Beatles concert 🤣( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
So young so amazingly good. Feast for my ears and eyes and spirit So grateful. What a sound - these men all together Philliganes - a Jackson keyboarder here?
good audio; I thought the video matches with the audio but at 48:15 the keyboard player is dancing in front of the stage for "roll over Beethoven " and we can hear a piano solo ! or was there another keyboard player ? I have just take a look on Wikipedia and it's mention two keyborders, Greg Phillinganes and Chuck Leavell ; we only see one on these video........ Oups I didn't see it was in the description of the video ....!
George ✌️💕. The video bouncing in and out was a disappointment.. but it's George so watched. Would have loved more closeups if anything. But nice capture !

The versions of Here comes the sun & My Sweet Lord are better than the Live in Japan album versions. To me at least. Georges's vocals are much better on these. Maybe the feedback ruined these.
Video quality sux but the concert was memorable. Too bad never released on DVD. Practically no decent live recordings with George through his career which is really lamentable especially including Eric his best friend.
"Roll Over Beethoven" (at the end of the concert) is an unexpected treat. It really captures a sense of fun and youth/energy not to mention a little Beatles' nostalgia thrown in for good measure. Certainly, it brings the different age groups together on stage; in particular see Greg Phillinganes and Katie Kisson doing the twist! As for Ray Cooper, just enjoy.
You got your mind set on me? How EVIL are you? I'm sorry. You are very sick😢. It breaks my heart that you surrounded yourself with such ugly people. They will soon be in prison. Count on me for that.
Love that George still bows after each number ala the Beatles.
3 great guitarists right here together, and not a one is too arrogant to back up the other.

Incredible musician, singer and guitar playking..
What did he mean there was nothing there? ❓Sounds like he's saying you gave him a blank CD❓🤔
I was at that concert! What a show!

Two. Great mates. How good do they sound together so good
Thank you for sharing this video of their lovely and nice music.
I wish we had more of this kind on the radio.
What a great band backing up George! His music deserves a band this good. And Eric was so great to donate his services and his band to this.
Eric owed a friend
Jeezus, George and Eric BRING IT...RIFF IT... and CRUSH IT on "Cloud Nine."
Nice to see Eric being forced to play second fiddle

Philliganes - a Jackson keyboarder here?
Wow cheer down instantly George slide tuning..
Grande George, senza corpo, ma tuo anima vive persempre

so happy to see the great Ray Cooper
Was he really that great?
Even in fuzzy footage his theatrics are unmistakable.
Mark Knopler is really digging “Roll Over Beethoven.”

I would venture to guess that this will come out soon. The whole Concert. It's ready to release.
@@mirrortime Any sign of it being released yet?
@@mirrortime its not.

How good was that what I would’ve given to be there
There is no way this audio is from this show. Unless the person taping it tapped into the concert audio system.
Definitively weird. Bad video, much better sound.
Actually the audio IS from this concert, It’s a very good Audience recording not a soundboard. The audio is not the original audio from the footage.
Great audio on this. Are the tracks in the video all that you have audio for? Or were there more Clapton songs than the 4 in the first video?
+Josh Hrach Clapton only did 4 songs each night, this looks like the complete show to me.
who playing with the damn camera !!!
George share with wyane craemer in a naiti I day in anber many many moons in a good dream shine on

Wth are you talking about?
What are you talking about?
George Harrison ist ziemlich schlecht beim Live-Singen. Musikalisch hilft ihm Clapton etc.
I find him rather good on this show......
