I saw her in an episode of Midsommer Murders on TV. She played an important role and was quite excellent. Like Simon commented after her first audition where she totally nailed a difficult Whitney Houston song…”That’s why we come to Wales!” Glad to see her doing so very well. Pretty girl. Loads of talent. Obvious hard worker.

Lucie's best performance was sweet child o mine. She really has improved and she nailed this performance. based on vocals She is better than Jedward.

came across Lucie Jones first time tonight starting with Whitney Houston. Staying very impressed, first impression, so natural, so real, so beautiful, great voice and performance, and realizing here: Lucie can sing ANYTHING and still authentically, like an actor sneaks into his role character..

Someone has to eplain this point system to me for Eurovision. As an indoor american I'm at aiss how gurjs like Lucie and others don't place higher when they are the one who go on to have real careers.
@@donaldholderdoc2910 this is a really late reply but if you still want to know i'll try to explain. Basically, there is the jury (they are like professional judges) who give points based off of talent and likeability. Then the countries taking part give points to other countries. this isn't very fair because countries will often form 'alliances' with other places and vote for each other. no one in europe really likes the uk so it never get anyones extra votes so everyone knows that the uk will 99% of the time come last. also nowadays, most places go for a more of a comedy/likeability route (if you look at winners from the last few years they are more entertainers then singers) whereas northern europe (scandinavia, detherlands, uk) tend to go for a more talented route with proper songs people would listen to frequently. this means that the most talented of people don't normally get that much success because a) they are from a more disliked place or b) the song isn't very easy for people who don't speak that language to enjoy (for example more mellow songs focused on lyrics not more dance themed songs).

She is a famous musical theatre actress on the West End. You can see her in Les Miserables until september, and on the UK tour of the musical Waitress after then.
Still like her rendition of; I will always love you, the best, as it reminded me of a lullaby! Such a good voice!

Lucie, you sang every song like it was your song. You adapt to every style effortlessly. You're an awesome artist. A beautiful singer visually and sonically. Stick to realism. That is my opinion. Don't stray too far into hype. Keep it classy and you will go far. I have to edit in, the camera loves you. It simply adores you.

I fell for Lucie when I heard her sing for the first time. I feel all the boys in college would go crazy for her for her looks, personality, grace and adorable voice. Her parnts should be so very proud of her.

Enjoy Lucy very much, but like a lot of singers in these shows, their authenticity gets stripped away along the way and they lose that special magic from their original auditions.
I couldn't agree more. What bothers me is by the time their done with this show they have just chugged through a whole album's worth of songs. If you aren't the actual winner you gain nothing. And even if you are, people are tired of hearing you already. These shows just use people.

Lucie is my favourite all time x factor contestant. She was amazing, and should had got further in the show. it's a singing competition. Jedward were entertaining but they were awful and should had gone week 1. Lucie is not boring, she is so good. can't believe she went out to Jedward of all people. wrong result. Lucie is the better singer.
