Do you know if it's possible to mute the master output audio if a song is in cue mode (cue button above mixer section is highlighted)? I want to be able to prepare a song in cue mode before bringing it into the mix, but my obs picks it up.
I did a test and when the audio is set to your speakers (realtek audio or other), the CUE button highlighted lets sound come through even with the volume all the way down. If the audio is set to DDJ-FLX6 WASAPI, the cue button does not leak any audio and it should resolve your issue. see the audio tab in preferences.
You'd need to output it to a different speaker. Most likely you'd need to install virtual audio cables and have them both go to your headphones. Then have OBS only record the output of the master virtual audio cable. OBS just captures the playback device, so the best bet is to split the playback devices.
Hi boss, when i record on obs, when i cue tracks the preview through my headphones it records over the main output, do you know how to fix this? how is yours setup? thanks a lot!
One question, how did you manage to get a hook into the box in the sound settings? On Audio bellow . I have the ddj flx6 but everytime i try to get this box filled my flx6 dispears above @YARDSAL3
Let me do some research and I will try to get back to you and help you out. I remember having a similar issue with a different controller a few years ago
Man I am sorry I missed your comment. I hope you were able to find the driver. If not try this support link support.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/articles/12496273998105-DDJ-FLX6-Firmware-for-Windows
Forget that, they must be plugged into your controller. Anyways, I can't seem to get OBS to pick up the desktop audio. I'm using a mac btw, tried to use black hole software but couldn't figure it out, not too many tutorials out there on this. I had the same issue with you with the drifting, I originally recorded the audio directly through rekordbox, screen capture with quicktime, and then also recorded a POV video from my phone. Any advice? new to obs btw.
@@Sparrowdj my speakers are plugged into my PC. the controller then goes through the PC for the audio. My ddjflex6 is plugged in by USB. I have not tried RCA cables from speakers to controller. for OBS to recognize the audio, I think the RCA cables create a disconnect from OBS, Laptop, and controller. I will look into this
@@Sparrowdj in rekordbox the audio buffer size setting is set to 768 samples. sample rate is at 48000, usually it is set to 44100 and should match the rate on your laptop audio playback setting. have not been having any issues with these settings as of yet.
Can anyone please explain how to connect flx6 with Rekordbox, I tried alot but it didn't connect

hey, im trying to do this with a ddjflx4. Just wondering, are your speakers plugged into your laptop or through the RCA cables in your controller?
