How loud is on the slowest setting? If I add more filter steps does it become louder? I am trying to decide which filtering device to use when woodburning but noise is one of the primary things I want to control while cleaning the air when working.
Great question Sandra. At the lowest setting it is running at about 58 decibels and at the high setting around 64. Both are very quiet. Adding additional filters really does not change the noise. Most find the Mini Razaire to be very quite and forget that it is even running. I hope this helps.

It plugs into a regular 110v outlet.
