People are out of their mind complaining that this bike doesn't go offroad. Every bike doesn't have to do everything. I'm happy that Ducati still makes an adventure tourer that is pavement biased. There are a ton of bikes to choose from already if you want more offroad bias. I mean Ducati literally just gave people the Desert X as an option. I really want this bike to go along with the S1000RR I already have in my garage.
That would be a great combo! And totally agree, for off road pick a desert x. But this road bias is exactly the reason I chose to rent the multi against a Desert X
Had one for 9 months after three GSs, superb bike. You get a lot more attention than any GS. Perfect road bike and it’s comfortable over distance, yes I’d have another. Personally I love the strange noises from the gearbox😆 PS. The extra money for the S version is worth every penny. In red of course…
I have a 950s (previous name of the v2s) since 3 years. It's an incredible bike. Even If I'm looking the v4s with envy, I still love this incredible bike and so I'm hesitant to "upgrade".
@@osafoca Just a slip on. it sounds a lot more like a V-Twin now! especially once the exhaust valve opens. a bit more rumble and a lot of crackle and pops on deceleration
Sensational video! Really enjoyed it, well made and very informative. This machine has been at the back of my mind for years, my goal was the GS but I think this will be in my garage eventually. Ride safe!
I wish you to have millions of views and subscribers! You make a great job! Better then lots of "majors". Your video works are brilliant, really like your videos! To make a good motorcycle review is not easy, and I think you make it great! Don't stop it!
The first person ever saying Suzuki was breaking often, maybe it was old and overused or did not receive a proper care :S, maybe.. :S Great video btw :) continue make more :)
The flaw of the V2 is that is so good on road, that may be (a big MB) it not so good off road. I would change this tune, that if you make the correct grip the V2s is good as any other front 19in Adv bike.
I mean ... let’s just say that I’m way more confident to ride a Tenere off road that I’d be riding a V2 ... and for example, my V2 was equipped with a center stand. If you have that, it’s basically impossible to properly sit on the pegs since the stand gets in the way of your heels. But then, not every bike has to be good off road, since I’d bet most people never actually go off road
It’s possibly the best “one bike” out there. Really great package all-in all. Pricey, but I see where the money went. And I mean, it’s gorgeous. My main issue is the damned Desmo valves every 30k km. paying for that every other year with my riding is IMO worse than the sticker price as these become quite reasonable used. For 2025 Ducati seem to be dropping the Teatastretta engine for the Multi, let’s hope the intervals are better and the work cheaper.
Thank you for a very useful content. What do you say about the driving comfort of the V2S with a rear passenger, does the vibration disturb the rear passenger? Also, if I do not neglect the maintenance, do you think I can ride for a long time without malfunctioning like Japanese motorcycles?
Modern Ducatis are supposed to be decent if you stay on top of servicing. But the servicing is expensive and at best you’ll have the same reliability you’ll have on the same Yamaha/Suzuki/Kawa/Honda where you can do most things with hand tools and some patience. Hell, anything apart from the Valves is simple sauce on my Yamaha. But of course, my Yamaha is not a Ducati. And that’s something.
Well, I don’t think the Multi is competing with those bikes you mentioned. Off road, I wouldn’t trust it to go where a T7 goes. But on the road, there is no comparison. The T7 is a base model Golf, while the Ducati is a proper Ferrari. And it should be, since they’re in totally different price ranges.
Who cares about radar cruise control? I have a 950s and it’s amazing. Open road 200km/h in blink of an eye, I think it’s more than enough to go to jail or to end in pieces 😂
I test rode one. At low revs the engine was a bag of dicks, lol. Good bike, but I ended up on a V Strom 1050 XT. Way better in every aspect, expect the suspension.. but the Stroms is more then adequate anyway.
Not happy below 3500, for sure. I’m doing the same cross-shopping and I think I’ll end up with the Suzuki (I like to do my own serving). Having said that, the V2S is quite the package.
The review is well done. But, if you really want to inform as well as entertain, it could be better with hard data, even if it’s just scrolled. Added value for viewers would be information on actual availability, maintenance schedule and associated costs, projected devaluation and commonly purchased farkles. Good luck . . . hope to see more!
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it! At the moment, I don’t see the channel going into that direction. I personally don’t care that much about specs, and costs and everything money related is really dependent on where the audience is from. I’m sure there are other guys that can do more in-depth analysis videos, but I am trying to focus more on stories and on how bikes make me feel

I can’t say no to a red Ducati :))
„Perfect is boring!“ - I totally agree ❤

I can see why ... I think your model should be pretty similar to the V2S
I had a doubt to go with GS or V2S. Well you cleared all my confusion. Now I have a V2S in my garage. Awesome stuff.. Keep it coming!
Haha I hope you like it!
@@KRANKiTabsolutely loving it man! All thanks to you!
Awesome video man. Keep going!
Thank you!
Bro this video is remarkable, you really did a great job filming and putting it together!
totally agree - got one, love it! Exhaust note is only thing that lets it down!
To be fair, I’m sure a Akra or some Termignionis would drastically improve the situation

Very original way to make a review of a bike. Congratulations.
Thank you!
The V2 in black w/red wheels is Gorgeous! That's the one I'm getting
It won't disappoint!
Has me considering it as well 😂
I bought the 2019 Ducati Multistrada Enduro 1260 2 days ago now, can't wait for spring to start riding
That sounds absolutely lovely...
What a production. Refreshingly different and entertaining.
Thank you!
@@KRANKiT Fantastic video! Looks like I found the successor to my hyper, now just need to save up for it :)
Beautifully crafted. 💪
Excellent video lads. Subscribed!

Oh yeah, I’m not blaming Suzuki. Just that particular bike was an absolute POS :)) but thanks, appreciate it!

Buying this bike! What crash bar are those? Looks dope 👍🏻
I wish I could tell you, the rental place had them fitted on and I don’t remember the brand.
Another great video!

I don't know if I'd pick that over a Ténéré 7 or a Transalp unless I knew I was staying on pavement the whole time.

The naughty factor is pretty high :))
I test rode a 950S the other day and I’ve fairly sure Ducati lied when it came to the power figures. Thing was up at 180kph far faster than it should.
Would love to see you gets your hands on the new 790 Duke
I rode one some time ago, but never filmed it ... I’d love to get my hands on one again!
Bella.
950 / V2 ❤
I miss my 1100s multi 😢
Planing to trade my gen 1 s1000xr for the v2s to do some touring on it. Does this bike have enough low and mid torque ?
I can’t comment on the beemer, never rode one. I can say the V2S had lovely torque down low
No man wants to throw his leg over a sister. Good lord, couldn't you use a better analogy ?
Not your own sister, come on :)))

Multi V2S or V100S Mandello? Hmmmmm
Good question ... all I can say is ... the Mandello doesn’t have an easy job ahead :))
A Suzuki that brakes down every two minutes? Hmmmm…
Better than the V4,but not as good as the Moto Guzzi V85 TT.
I've never tried one... but I wouldn't mind to one day :)
@@KRANKiT
You'll love it!
I’d take the desertx instead for less money
I think it depends what you’re using it for. For the road? It’s hard to beat the multi!
